I owe a favor to the Crow Man, the messenger of the Gods. Little do I realize realize that it will take me deep into the territory of Kerris, the spirit shaman of Whisper Hollow. Kerris comes to me for help.
Penelope, the Gatekeeper of Whisper Hollow's Graveyard, has been kidnapped by the Covenant of Chaos and is being held in Moonshadow Bay. Now it's up to my grandmother and me to free her, and to return her to Whisper Hollow before the dead start wandering.

Feathered Web is the end of the Moonshadow Bay Series. I have loved every minute I've spent in Moonshadow Bay. Yasmine Galenorn provides a unique environment unlike any other Urban Fantasy that I've read. I feel like I've been through a combination of education on Celtic pagan traditions and paranormal fiction, featuring intense characters.
I will miss the people I've come to know and love. Although, I have a feeling I'll be seeing a few of them in future fiction. Finding a new author is a two-edged sword. You will either dislike the writing and subject matter and move on, or fall in love, stay awhile, and still have to move on. I'm grateful for the body of work by Yasmine Galenorn, I don't have to go anywhere yet.
I enjoyed this short novella in this series, but it feels like this series is winding up all the loose ends now, which is a shame as I have really enjoyed January's story.
In this one, January receives a call from Kerris, the spirit shaman over in Whisper Hollow, who asks for January's help in finding their kidnapped Gatekeeper. The Covenant of Chaos is involved again and January, Kerris and their friends have to try and put a stop to whatever they plan to do.
I loved the idea of the Pest House and how the inhabitants came to be there and how January and Kerris helped to free them.
I am hoping that there will be another book in this series, but if not, it has ended on a high and has been a very enjoyable ride!
When the messenger of the Goddess calls you really should listen. Thankfully January knows how to pay attention. Enjoyable and a deft weave of the Shadow Towns tales.
I always like stepping back into January’s life to see what’s up. It was interesting to meet Kerris. I had always meant to read the Whisper Hollow series and this gives me the perfect excuse.
I love stepping back into January's world. I love the crossover with the whisper hollow series and seeing January and Kerri meet. I want more of these two!!!
I loved this series in the beginning, and really looked forward to each new book. But as the series has progressed, it feels like the content has become rather stale, and the books are now so incredibly short. I still try to read each new one if I can, but I’m nowhere near as excited about them as I used to be. I really like the characters, I just wish that she would elaborate more and makes the plot of it richer. Although thankfully, this one was a vast improvement over the last one. Three stars.
