She belongs to me, even if she doesn’t realise it. The thought of her consumes me, imagining the fun we are yet to have. I’m unravelling at the seams for Jenna Cradlow and there’s no going back now. This delicate doll is in my grasp, and I can’t wait to break her …
Jenna’s life spirals into darkness when she realises she’s being stalked. Working at a high-end strip club, her paranoia grows as her stalker infiltrates both her work and personal life. The tension reaches a breaking point when she uncovers the stalker’s identity, only to find herself ensnared in a deadly game that leads to her inevitable capture.
In captivity, Jenna uncovers secrets she thought only existed in stories. Forced to bend her morals and confront her deepest fears, she navigates a twisted reality where nothing is as it seems. As she battles to regain control of her life, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to her kidnapper, discovering a side of herself she never knew existed.
After coming across this book on my TikTok FYP, I knew I had to read it! And boy, it did NOT disappoint!
Usually I love the MMC throughout, because there’s no such thing as red flags in dark romance (unless cheating, that’s a no no). But Cassian, he had me on my toes! A powerful, unhinged and completely loveable rogue that you just can’t help but love. But he’s not the only one you’ll find yourself falling for!
The story between Cassian and Jenna is just captivating. I was hooked from start to finish and there are so many ‘what the f*ck?!’ moments throughout!
This book made me feel aaaaaalll kinds of emotions, had me gasping, panting and kicking my feet in the air like a girl!
The way Eleanor writes is just flawless. It’s a beautiful book, beautifully written and I CANNOT wait for the next instalment to see what happens - as I feel there is a sneaky snake amongst the ‘group’ - but you’ll have to read to see if you come to the same conclusion!
Eleanor is an author I quickly added to my ‘will read anything she writes’ list!
This book has had me gasping on several occasions...was it always in a good way? Not sure. it's definitely a read your trigger warnings ⚠️ before going in kinda book! A few sharp turns I wasn't expecting.
Jenna is a dancer who is run down on her luck. She doesn't know that her hot a$$hole boss has been obsessing over her. He stalks her, claims her, kidnaps her.... need I say more? I'll stop there as any more would be a spoilers for the story 🤭
3 ⭐️ This was okay. The story was fast-paced and entertaining, but I didn’t enjoy being in this world or with these characters. The beginning was really interesting but I slowly lost interest as the book went on and had to force myself to finish it. Perhaps the second book will be better.
Hmmmm excuse me but why on earth did you do that now im actually glad I took my time reading this.
This book is freaking well written ive been taking it slow because its like a fine wine best not to overindulge 🤣😅.
The fact I absoloutly clocked one part of the main story plots befire it's was established did not surprise me but the fact I dodnt establish the whole plot before it started clicking into place did shock me.
Im hoping the next book is not to sad because damn this one though it wasn't sad did have alot of points where someone mainly jenna always found herself in some form of trouble I dont mind if you give cassian or the mother some issues but let jenna be happy in the next book.
Who am I kidding I fully understand jenna is attractive for the danger thats about to come my thing though will they survive what's next to come or will they perish
KU 1.5⭐️ I don't mind spice, and frequently in some books if the overall story is good & enticing, but I just couldn't get into this book, just too smutty for me. Other readers might like it, but just not for me. The book could have definitely been shorter. It's weird how I felt the story dragged on, but then it also felt rushed. In a nutshell, book is about a fucked up family, reconnecting through kidnap, becoming immortal by drinking blood (not to be confused with Vampires) while having sex & sacrificing someone at point of climax to claim their soul. Didn't particularly like the characters, especially Jenna (who literally thinks about sex at the most inappropriate, not realistic times).
Ufff these men! Cassian +Lucian will live rent free in ur head for weeks to come.
This is a reverse harem u don't see coming until you do.
2 utterly unhinged brilliantly written brothers and bad ass braty fmc what could possibly go wrong. 1 wouldn't capture her then the other possibility try to take would they ?
Packaged perfectly in dark trigger warnings I've loved this book I like mine dark. Literally found an author who is active on t.t with her following she's just brilliant 👏i will never stop sharing a new refreshingly different book it's so different.
"It’s going to be one hell of a ride, and it’s only just begun."
What a book!! This popped up on social media, and I practically ran to get it... I'm glad I did. It was beautifully written and so very well executed in every aspect; the plot was original, the characters - brilliantly developed, the spice - hot with a capital H. Everything you want from a dark romance, this has. When reading, you kind of want to hate both Cassian and Lucian, but boy, is that hard to do... they're both just so loveable in their own ways! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book! Would definitely recommend...just make sure you check out the TWs before you dive in.
Two unhinged fit brothers + one tame erotic dancer waiting to be unleashed = Songbird!!
This is one hell of a dark romance turned dark fantasy ❤️🔥 ❤️🔥❤️🔥 you definitely need to read your trigger warnings. Once I got into it I couldn’t put it down, nice & easy to follow, lots of unhinged scenarios, some I was even like ‘what the f***?’ But kept on reading 🤪
❤️🔥 kidnapping/ captivity ❤️🔥 posseive ❤️🔥 masks ❤️🔥stalker ❤️🔥BDSM ❤️🔥 touch her & die 💀 & more….
oh, this was dark and just got darker. Did I enjoy it? I absolutely loved it!!!! would I recommend it? absolutely yes!!!! the plot was thick. The fmc was I fireball, and the mmc's were just heavenly. if you're looking for a book that is dark but has a plot no like no others, this book is for you. Eleanor crowe definitely thought outside the box for this book, and it paid off. I can't wait for the next book.
Dark romance / fantasy / immortality. Came across the author on tiktok and i'm so glad i decided to read it. The book kept me hooked from the beginning, i didn't expect the twists in it which made it loads better than a predictable ending. I'm excited to see what Eleanor does with the second book. Interesting to see how it can progress more. ⭐️
Please let start off by saying, it just wasn’t my thing. The book started good, and I think I really wasn’t into the whole plot with his family. Seemed a bit far fetched to me. I got to 70% and thought, nope that’s enough from me. I hate DNFing books but I hope this author doe well and captures the right audience
Yusssses get it Jenna!!! Living most girls fantasies! Like this book had be gripped from the start! Why did it feel so right to be attracted to the stalker who kidnaps the FMC. Because he’s a good guy actually.. then to be attracted to his brother who also kidnaps her and whips her.. he is also a good guy. Good guys all round.

Oooo this was so good! After seeing Songbird pop up on my TikTok I knew I had to read it. It’s got abit of everything I like with the added bonus of a dash of fantasy to it. I’m not a fantasy girly but it really made this book for me. Really looking forward to the next book now.
2.5 ⭐️ I had no clue this was a trilogy until I finished the book. I wasn’t interested enough in the characters or the plot to continue. Some scenes were spicyyyy tho🌶️
This book ruined me in the best possible way. I picked it up thinking I’d read a few chapters before bed… and suddenly it was 3AM and I was spiraling right along with Jenna.
Cassian is a 10 — like, dangerously gorgeous — but also slightly unhinged, obsessive, and possessive in the most intoxicating way. He’s the kind of morally gray character you know is trouble but can’t stop craving more of. Every scene with him had me holding my breath.
Jenna’s descent into this dark, twisted relationship was fascinating to watch unfold. The writing is sharp, the tension electric, and the emotional manipulation is… disturbingly well done.
It’s definitely dark romance — there are triggers and intense moments — but if you’re into stories that push boundaries and make you question everything while still delivering a powerful emotional punch, Songbird will absolutely consume you.
