An instalove MC book with some minor club girl drama. Just a club girl who wants Ghost (he’s never been with her) and tries to cause some problems. This boasts as an age gap but we don’t even learn either of their ages which makes no sense to me!! Also would have been nice to learn Ghosts real name, I love when the FMC calls them by their real name and everyone else calls them by their club name but here we don’t even know his given name. Anyway it was alright, might read the next one. No cheating, minor ow drama, no break up and a virgin FMC.

MC Goodness Packed Into a Quick Read

I guess I just found a new MC author that knows how to make a short book into something with so much to it. I loved Ghost and Mira’s story with Ghost being the Prez of a 1% MC and Mira the poor woman who came from the broken foster care system. Ghost has had an eye on Mira for a while and now its time to make his move. Mira is struggling in her health and all aspects of her life. Good thing her guardian angel has rode in to rescue his angel.

I cannot wait to see what comes in in the Shadow Reapers MC series.

this isnt a bad book i know its a novella but i just feel like its missing something it just needs a little more and the repedative use of "makes my trigger finger itch" is a little annoying.i just think this story would do a lot better as a full length novel.

The characters are just infuriating to me.

The mmc saves the meek fmc from 2 rapey guys. After he brings her to her apartment, they see that it's flooded. They drive to his clubhouse... where he insists on them sharing his bed.
after this was forced upon her, she likes the fantasy of him taking her virginity bc at least he is a ReAl MaN wItH hOnOr.

Yeah, no, this is not a "real" man, and he doesn't have honor, and I am really sorry for every person who is afraid to speak up in moments like these and doesn't realise that this is not ok.

Seriously, this was such a ridiculous book, with the tough, hot prez of an MC falling for a super young mess that's been abused and then of course, the inevitable kidnapping that really made no sense, but it gets worse... the 2nd epilogue is 5 yrs later, where they now have 4 or 5 adopted kids and I don't think they have any of their own even tho she was 19 when they met & is all of 24 now & he's maybe 35! I'm giving 2 stars as the MLs weren't totally unlikeable and there was at least a story in addition to the sex, but it wasn't a very good story

First time reading this author. This was an ok read. There is no real drama and very little action. Ghost has been watching Mira for weeks at the diner she works at. He falls first, but she's not far behind on falling for him. I have no problem with quick reads or insta love. My problem with this book is that I wanted more MC action with the bad guys. I have some questions that weren't answered, so I guess I'll read the next book and see if I get any answers.

Mira is working at the diner when the man she was waiting to see comes in. She has an issue with her heart and has drugs to take but with working she's not fully medicated. As she takes the bikers order she turns and her heart flutters and she almost goes down.
Ghost, member of Shadow Reapers and is the President, has come to the diner with another biker. He's been coming to this diner to keep an eye on her. She's his angel to take care of even if he can't have her. Then he watches as the sleezy manager of the diner makes a move on her. He intervenes. Then he follows her to her next job. He doesn't like the guy who opens the door or the look he gives her. That's it he's claiming her which is what he should have done weeks ago. When he gets in he makes the lawyer know he's screwed up. Then he takes Mira.
Mira has never been on a motocycle before but with this biker she feels safe for the first time in a long time. She's taken home and she gathers her stuff and asks him to drop her off at the diner but he tells her no she's going to the clubhouse. When he asks her how she came to live in that soggy basement apartment she tells him about her foster parents who used her social security number to get credit cards and took out loans and ruined her credit. She can't go to the cops because they will find her. She reminds him that she's alone. He tells her she's not alone anymore. She's got him. To him she's THE one, his ole lady, the first lady of the Shadow Riders MC.
Ghost has his IT guy check into Mira's foster parents and what they find is not good and sends Ghost's temper into high drive. The fact that was the worse is that her foster parents want to give her to a Russian who is into skin trafficking to pay their debt to him. Then he discovers she has a heart problem. He is getting stuff done his way and fast. This is HIS angel and he takes care of what's his.
Will he be able to get the dangers that surround her taken care of? Including her heart problem?
A beautiful story of a man who sees a woman who is worth claiming and caring for her.

Ghost was the prez of the Shadow Reapers MC and confirmed bachelor…until her. Ghost met Mira while she was a waitress at a rundown diner, complete with an inappropriate manager. Mira was working two jobs to afford her rent in a dump of an apartment, food, and heart medication. Mira has a heart condition that requires life-saving surgery but cannot afford it. Mira grew up in the foster system and the last foster parents took advantage of her. Mira was barely surviving when she met Ghost. Both of their lives changed when they finally got together one rainy night. The story doesn’t end there, however, but you are going to have to read it to find out what happened next. There were lots of twists to this story that included the seedier side of the MC lifestyle and a Russian mobster. There were some steamy moments between Ghost and Mira described in a respectful way. The story touches on some important social issues faced by the impoverished. Overall, this is an enjoyable story about instalove, redemption, and kindness to others.

Ghost’s Angel is quite suspenseful and a page turning MC romance. While reading this book, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn’t set this book down for a single second. Ghost’s Angel is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Oona Ryda. This is my first book which I have read by Oona Ryda and I was completely blown away by the storyline. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The main characters of this story are Ghost and Mira. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know these two characters as well as seeing their story coming to life through the pages of this book. I’m definitely going to be checking out more of this author’s work in the future. Ghost’s Angel is a book that I would gladly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a new MC romance to read.

Mira is a sweet woman who is doing her best to just keep her head above water. Through working in the Diner she meets Ghost who shows up every day and sits at the same table and watches her. Without her knowing he has been following her and making sure she is safe. Mira has always been taken advantage of by her Foster Parents, and people around her. Ghost has found himself obsessed with this sweet woman and followed her to make sure she got to where she needed to be safe. There was something about her that made him want her for himself. She was his woman. The chemistry between this couple is so steamy and explosive. The feeling of being apart of Ghost's family brings Mira out of her shell, and she blossoms under their care and helping her become the woman she wants to be. I so can't wait to read the next books that come out. This is a must read!!!

Mira is working two jobs since she aged out of the foster system. Her former foster parents ran up a bunch of debt in her name, she is barely making ends meet, keeping a roof over her head and purchasing meds for her heart. He comes in to the diner she works at, he is huge and scary looking but there is something about him that makes her feel safe.

Ghost is Pres of the Shadow Reapers MC, his world is filled with violence but when sees Mira for the first time protective instincts he did not know he had come to life. She is too pure and innocent for him but that does not stop him from wanting her. When he takes her home one night and finds her apartment flooded, there is no way he can walk away, she is his to protect.

Ghost is just what Mira needed after life had treated her so harshly.

2.5 stars.
I LOVED the cover, it's what made me want to read the book plus I had never read anything by this author. Unfortunately, the story didn't live up to the beautiful cover.
I liked Ghost.
I liked that there was minimal sex.
I did not like that we were never told their ages.
I did not like the overused trope of the dirt poor, overworked, stubbornly prideful, "I don't want to be a charity case or a burden", virginal FMC who is so full of self pity it's pathetic. Ugh!
Also, didn't like that every man she encounters wants to rape her, seriously? She's all that?
Very little character development. The writing wasn't too bad.
Willing to read the next one as they all seem to be extremely short.

Really rushed and a lot of details missing, but I finished it with a smile!

I’m not a massive fan of short stories, and I didn’t realise that this was only 88 pages. Yet I’m glad I didn’t know as I wouldn’t have read it, and I did really enjoy it. Yes there’s a HUGE amount of details missing: Who is the enforcer, the road captain, and the secretary? What heart condition did Kira have, and how was it treat?

It’s so short that on the first page practically, Ghost (That detail annoyed me. WHAT’S HIS NAME?) has decided that his ‘Angel’ Kira will be his and a few short pages later they’re together and life is a lot better for Kira.

Way too short but still really enjoyed it.

Ghost's Angel is book 1 in the Shadow Reaper's MC and my first read by this author. It's Mira and Ghost's fast paced, insta love, short story and it's characters are fantastic. Ghost, like most bikers, is possessive, domineering and obsessive. He knows what he wants and simply goes after it and what he wants is Mira.

"My ol' lady, my queen, the first lady of the Shadow Riders MC."

When problems come Mira panics and Ghost has no trouble reminding her just where her place is.

"You calm the turbulence inside me. You shine a light on the darkness in my soul."
I'm excited to see where this series goes next.

Mira is a young woman trying to make it after aging out of the foster care system. She runs into some bad luck when she learns that her ex foster parents took out credit in her name ruining her credibility. She connects with Ghost who takes one look at Mira and knows that she is going to be his and when he comes to her rescue it starts them along their path in this action-packed story that has thrilling twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages and cheering on Ghost and Mira to get their chance for happiness.

In this book we meet Mira & Ghost. Ghost has been watching Mira for a while now. He knows he could give this job to someone else but there is just something about her that he can't stay away from. Mira has seen and been flustered by Ghost for a while now. The thing is though there is something that keeps drawing her to him she knows she needs to stay away. Can these two find a HEA or will the secrets they are keeping keep them apart forever?

I was just introduced to this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ghost & Mira: triggers- loss, grief, Foster care, identity theft, gambling, sex trafficking. for such a short book this was really good. the author has everything included for a complete story. I only wish it were a lot longer. because I think the issue with the antagonists could have really made the story just that much better. only problem ... this was a KU/Audible read and listen free. the narrator was terrible. every character has the same voice. it's like when you were in school and the teacher called in someone to read out loud. just the same voice for 2 hours... nice inflection but narrating it basically voice acting... can I get some acting? 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

I am really enjoying this series by Oona Ryda.
Ghost is the president of the Shadow Reapers MC. He has been keeping an eye on Mira; a waitress he recently encountered at a diner.
Mira is a waitress at a run down diner. She is down on her luck because of her foster parents. When Ghost notices her apartment is flooded he carries her with him.
I love how protective Ghost is of Mira. She is young, innocent and vulnerable. When he learns the plans her foster parents have for her he will stop at nothing to protect her.
These books are full of hot, alpha over protector men who will defend their women to the end.

this was perfect for a quick read !!

This is an insta-love MC romance , where the girl secretly crushes on the big bad outlaw. Meanwhile he’s been falling for her the entire time .

Ghost is head over heels for this woman, green flags all the way. This man is possessive , touch her and die vibes wrapped in a hot as sin package .

Mira is a sweet girl who’s had a rough life , aging out of foster care and finding the cruel way life treats you when you’re already down . Crushing on ghost was the best part of her day .

This is a quick read for those busy days when you want to swoon over a cute couple really quick .

He is the grizzled president of the local MC and she is a sweet waitress at the local diner. He has noticed how hard she is working but how kind she always is to everyone. When she runs into trouble he steps in and decides to claim her for himself. They have undeniable chemistry. He wants to wrap her up and protect her and she wants to lean on someone for the first time in her life. A quick and spicy story with a feel good happy ending.

Short novella of a gruff MC president and an aged out orphan trying to survive the cruelty and crushing loneliness of her new reality left in crippling debt at 18 by unscrupulous foster parents and preyed upon by lecherous men. Ghost and Mira, ‘his Angel’ are beautiful characters both flawed in their own ways coming together to make each other whole. The story is well written with everything you want from this genre with the intensity, desperation, violence, fierce protectiveness and passion resulting in a great story and a HEA.

Ghost's Angel

Ghost and Maya's story has them meeting at her waitressing job at the Diner. He was watching her for a while to make sure she was safe. But when he helped her with her boss at her nighttime job, he finally got to help her. Little did he know that she has a heart condition that requires meds that she hasn't been taking properly which in turn has her needing emergency surgery when he passes out. But he shows her how strong and trustworthy he is and they get their own hea.

a good read

First time I read anything by this author, but it won’t be the last. A biker alls for a waitress who is kind and gentle with her customers and even helps an elderly lady pay her bill. He comes to her aid when her boss tries to demand sexual favors. She quickly becomes his Ole Lady. This is a good read even if it seems a short one. Time passed so quickly because I just wanted to keep reading. I hope there is more published in this series I can read now. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger and it has several epilogues. Enjoy.

Short but sweet. Ghost has been watching Mira for weeks. He shows up at her job just to see her. When her boss tries to be a bit to friendly he puts him in his place and lets him know to never bother her again.
Ghost recuses her again and takes her back to his clubhouse and claims her as his ol' lady. Jealousy from the other girls brings trouble until Ghost lets them know the consequences if they mess with her.
Mira falls for Ghost but doesn't want to be a burden to him so she slips out and leaves but ends up passing out and needing medical care. Ghost shows her she can count on him to always be there for her.
