Instead of tearing us apart, our sins have forged a bond no one can break. Margot’s darkness calls to mine, her need for vengeance matches my own, and I’ll protect her at any cost. She never flinched when I admitted I’d scattered the bones of my worst nightmare along the highways.
I finally felt free—until the past showed up wearing a face I never expected to see again.
I thought those demons were buried.
But if I’ve learned anything in my years with the Lost Kings MC, it’s that secrets don’t stay dead for long—and the one I swore I left behind just came back to find me.
Scatter the Bones is the 26th book in the Lost Kings MC series by USA Today bestselling author Autumn Jones Lake. It must be read after Twist the Knife and Collect the Pieces.
Autumn is the USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the popular Lost Kings MC and Hollywood Demons series. Autumn firmly believes that true love stories never end and that is reflected in the stories she tells.
Her past lives include baking cookies, slinging shoes, and practicing law.
She was born and raised in upstate New York, where most of her books are set. Autumn still enjoys all four seasons there with her very own alpha hero.
You can ask Autumn questions on Goodreads and easily find her on Facebook.
This picks up where Collect The Pieces ended and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I love how Autumn gave us even more of Jigsaw’s backstory. It definitely gives you such insight into his psyche and to see how much Margot has impacted his life. Margot is such a strong character. I love her wit and her charm. And I think these two together are amazing. Every time I pick up a Lost King‘s novel it’s like going home and visiting family. The dynamics and camaraderie amongst all these characters, not only make me smile and laugh out loud, they make my heart feel full. This was absolutely a five star read for me!
We're back for the third installment of Jiggy & Margot's story and man I have been so excited for it!
This couple just captured me from the very start, they were the outsiders growing up. Margot grew up in a funeral parlour so you can imagine the taunts she had to endure and then Jiggy had a horrendous childhood in a cult of abuse that just broke my heart. We get a few flashbacks of what he went through so be prepared.
At the end of book 2, Jiggy had a shock from his past show up and that unleashes unwanted memories, fear and guilt! He needs to learn how to navigate all this and that is where his perfect little lady d3ath helps him.
They both have their quirks - and secrets - so unique and so perfect for each other, there's smoking chemistry and just this connection that they have, I seriously love them.
We get a good catch up with the rest of the LOKI family - I don't think I'll ever tire of reading about this world, the friendships, the brother&sisterhood, the chemistry between the couples, and just this entire world is one I never want to leave.
25 out of 5 stars I’m truly in awe of Autumn’s talent. 26 books into the Lost Kings series, and this book (or the trilogy that is Jigsaw and Margot) is completely fresh and thoroughly engaging. Their story couldn’t be more perfect for them. True soulmates, even if Jiggy would’ve gagged on that before he met Margot. She completes him. He gives her confidence. In addition, we get snippets from the entire LoKi family and tons of breadcrumbs for future story lines. I can’t say it enough. This is my favorite series, my favorite author. I read it twice when it was first published. I’ll likely read it again before the year is out.and after visiting with the LoKi family, I’ll have to pick up past books to revisit favorite couples’ stories. This series is like coming home to cherished family and friends.
Margot has surpassed Hope as my ultimate LOKI Lady!
This book deserves 10 out of 5 stars. Easily.
So much happened! I don’t even know what to think! But even in all the insanity, Autumn perfectly weaved the story back to where it needed to be.
Margot’s sweet, yet incredibly tough, nature truly shown through in this story. Bringing her into her rightful place within this world. And Jiggy’s beautifully broken soul (and past) was perfectly presented to us readers as he navigated his guilt from his past.
She has done it again! This series, for me, just keeps getting better. Going into Jigsaw and Margot story, I really didn’t think I would like it much but knew I had to keep going with the series. I was very pleasantly surprised. There were a few things that I wasn’t a big fan of (Margot extra curricular activity) but it worked for the story. As is the norm, Jigsaw and Margot’s story stretched over three books, so I was happy I waited for all three to come out before reading. I devoured all three books on vacation. Now the wait for the next character’s book is on.
OMg I went from being angry at Jiggy to loving how much he loves Margo. I’ve been Margo too many times wondering if I’m the problem. Jiggy was so wrong letting her wonder that. But in the end love and self awareness can conquer all. Thank you Autumn for another great ride with the LOKI clan.
I have been waiting for the conclusion to Jigsaw and Margot’s story and I was not disappointed. “Collect the Pieces” is a steamy, action packed and thrilling conclusion and I loved this couple so much.
The story picks up right where “Collect the Pieces” ended and we get so many answers. Jigsaw’s backstory was so heartbreaking in what he endured as a child in his religious cult but the vengeance he gets had me cheering so hard for him. It was a long time coming and well deserved. He used the vengeance to save his sister and start a new life with the MC. As we find out more about him, the nickname is perfect for him. I didn’t think I could love Margot more than I did but I was proven wrong. She’s genuine, smart and really found herself with the help of Jigsaw. What she did on the side was the perfect match for Jigsaw. I loved the nickname Jigsaw gave her. Margot fit in so well with the other old ladies and earned the respect of the rest of the crew in one particular scene which was one of my favorites. Their story was full of steam, humor and growth for them individually and as a couple. I loved the ending, it showed all the trust they had for each other, and wrapped up things perfectly. And I can’t wait for Remy’s story.
Every time I pick up one of Autumn Jones Lake’s books I know that I will be in heaven for a little while. I have devoured every book in the Lost Kings MC series and I can’t believe that we are 26 books in and every time we are gifted with a phenomenal read. In this final book for Jigsaw and Margot we get to learn more about Jigsaw’s past and why he is very closed off when it comes to relationships. Margot is his soul mate and his match in every way possible and I absolutely loved reading their story. The interactions with all the characters are always the highlight and this book did not disappoint. The women are just as strong as the men and I enjoy reading how fierce and protective they can be and every time I read one of these books I feel like I am spending time with family. Autumn Jones Lake thank you again for sharing this world with us and I can only say that I love how your mind works and I am always sad to say goodbye to our LOKI family. Cannot wait for the next book and hopefully many more that are bound to come. A massive five stars!
Part 3 and the final book of Jiggy and Margot's story. To be read after Twist the Knife and Collect the Pieces from Autumn's Lost Kings MC series, this is Book 26. A wonderful conclusion for our much loved biker and curvy mortician. Reappearing family members, issues of trust and guilt, dark secrets and nifty skills with a scalpel. Boxing, banter, cookies, soup 'n' sock (iykyk) and plenty of hot loving! This book has it all. I've indulged in the Lost Kings series from the start and I can honestly say Jiggy and Margot are my favourite couple so far, although I say that loosely! I love them all. Autumn's writing just gets better, the flow of her stories, the crossing of timelines and the depth of the numerous characters she's created is fabulous. There's plenty of easter eggs for future books and I'm here for it! If you're new to Autumn's series it honestly would be worth it to start at the beginning with Slow Burn, you definitely won't regret it! A fabulous 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Twist the knife and Collect the Pieces were just the start...and left me wanting, NEEDING more and this author sure delivered! Margot and Jigsaw have turned into one of my fave couples now and the fact that she is so much like a female version of him is everything. They both have a little damage in the emotional trust area and yet their violence paired with sweetness is a thing of beauty to watch unfold. I loved getting more of Jiggy's back story and getting a full circle moment with Jezzie and Cain was wonderful. This book had a lot going for it...danger, romance, bloodthirsty revenge and as usual with the LOKI boys, a lot of humor. There are parts that made me chuckle and gasp and then groan...and this coming from a reader who has made it through all 26 books in the series. A must read for those Jiggy fans out there, and Remy is coming for you next!
***** 5 ***** "a deadly form of sweet will get you every time" stars
Autumn Jones Lake did it again. The third book in the Jenson (Jigsaw)and Margot storyline is amazing, incredible and hard to put down. While I found the beginning of the book very difficult to read and wanted to skip through to the good parts; I DID NOT. I stuck with it and am so glad I did. It was important to learn the history behind Jiggy’s life in order to gain a better perspective on his character and his relationship with his sister, Rooster, his club and of course , Margot. In fact, when Jiggy goes home to wreck vengeance on his father, he learns he has a half brother Cain. Cain is much younger than Jiggy. We get to see how perfect Margot is for him and how much she sees the real person behind the mask he wears. She helps him grow up into a more responsible and mature adult. And shows him that it’s ok to be vulnerable. A definite must read book.
Oh jiggy and lady death so perfect I love all the boys but every story gets better and better I never get bored I’m 26th book in I freaking love her love this series Patricia Briggs and her are my favorites my bread an butter (hee hee threw that in there ifykyk) I knew all along Cain was gonna be a good kid look at Jensen and jazzie I really can’t wait for all these stories to come out about everybody I hope this series take over 5 shelves I can’t get enough Margot is so patient with Jensen I love that she knows his childhood trauma is what drives the man now and although she isn’t a doormat she gets it and she’s gentle and all these guys are the epitome of he wanted to he would when someone is your love you’ll burn the world down when a man shows you you aren’t the one believe him and walk away

There are just no words to say how much I loved this story about Jiggy and Margot. As always it's great to visit with all of our favorite LOKI family members. This third book in the Jiggy/Margot arc leads the way into their happily ever after. They are so perfect for each with their shared "hobby". I started this book this morning, it is now early evening and I read the book in one sitting. It is a page turner. They are a passionate couple and you will find several sexy scenes in the book. This is one author that I will buy any book she writes without checking the blurb first. I highly recommend this book; heck I recommend the entire Lost Kings series.
4.5 ⭐️ Definitely my favourite book of the trilogy and Jiggy & Margot are hands down one of my favourite LOKI couples 🤍
I really enjoyed getting to dive deeper into Jiggy’s past. Seeing Rooster being there for him even back then was so sweet. Getting to see his relationship with Cain grow and even thrive with Jezzie was everything! I cannot wait for her book!!! 👀
Margot truly was the perfect woman for our Jigsaw. The scene of her revealing her special ‘talent’ in front of the guys was hilarious and I loved how proud of her they were. Grinder and Wrath having such a soft spot for her was so cute. And of course our ladies going out of their way to make sure she knew she was wanted and welcomed. My heart. I continue to love this series so much and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Jigsaw and Margot are EVERYTHING. You all know I love Rock and Hope, they have been my number one since day one, (yes I rhymed and do not care) but this couple is absolute perfection. No two characters have been more perfect for each other or perfectly written. I want Margot to be a real person just so I can drive to her funeral home and beg her to be my bestie. All her insecurities, all her doubts, all her triumphs were so relatable and I was cheering for her to win the entire book. I am just so in love with these two that I may have to go back and do a reread right now because I cannot get enough of them. AJL does it again, I'm convinced she can do know wrong, ever.
Jigsaw and Margot finale was perfect! Jigsaw went through some unexpected family issues. He did get them taken care of. Margot got a little jealous with those mean Harry club girls. She did put the fear of life in one of them. I laughed so much. Jigsaw really started to get real strong feelings towards Margot. Especially after an incident happened. He did finally get her on the back of his bike. This book kept me up late for 3 nights. I just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend reading the finale of Jigsaw as and Margot's wonderful love story.
Scatter the Bones is the third and final instalment of Jiggy and Margot's story so it must be read in order after Twist the Knife and Collect the Pieces. Their story takes place within the world of the Lost Kings MC and I can’t recommend this series highly enough!!! This was a wonderful conclusion to their story as we get to see more about what happened in Jiggy's past and how beautifully his soulmate Margot brings out the best in him. I love that there is so much involvement from the other members of the LOKI family and the banter and humour is amazing. I can't wait to read what is next in this series because I love getting lost in this universe!!!
AJL is freaking amazing! Lost Kings sucked me in years ago and I pre-order each new book as soon as the pre-order goes live. Even without a blurb because I know the writing will be excellent and the story will enrapture me.
Scatter the Bones was no exception. I laughed out loud multiple times while Jigsaw and his Little Lady Death found their happy ending. The story was so good, I am ending this review so I can jump back in with a re-read to savor the story all over again.
This whole trilogy was fantastic, it had a great plot, was well written, and was very nicely spiced 🥵🫠🤭 I loved loved loved the FMC and MMC, the banter the chemistry how their backgrounds had affected them and the way their relationship evolved… no frustrating miscommunication/misunderstanding tropes here, sweetheart badass Margot isn’t messing around with that rubbish, she gets shit sorted! And Jensen may just be my newest book boyfriend. These two are perfect for each other. I liked other characters too so might have to read more in this series 😍🥰
I have said it before and I'll say it again I would read anything Autumn writes she is simply AMAZING. I love how each couple gets their story fully told and how in book we get a check in with the other couples we get to see where they're at. I so enjoyed Jiggy and Margot's 3rd book it was exactly what was needed to leave their story at for now. I can't wait to see which couple we get next. I hope we get more Jiggy and Margot books in the future.
As always - fantastic book. Anyone this far into the series is a die hard and will NOT be disappointed. We get to see so many of our favorites ❤️ Margot is perfect for Jiggy and I love the way they each let go a little at a time to trust each other. She is so Bad A$$ and doesn’t take crap from anyone, but also soft an sweet. I mean…she made bread! 😂🤣 I can’t wait for the next one.
Loved reading Jiggy & Margot’s HEA story. Definitely a match made in heaven? I wouldn’t say hell either, maybe something in between, but they’re perfect together. Looking forward to hearing more about their relationship in future books. Every time I read one of stories in this series, I want to go back to the start and read them all again and again and ……….. 😂 Remy’s stories up next, I’m wondering if Jezzie will be his girl or someone we haven’t met yet 🤔
The anticipation was well worth the wait, I was so amazed at how Jiggy discovered his half brother and how he was able to save his sister. He and Margot just make such a great pair love them together . It took me a while to read the book due to my eye sight and medication I am on . Now that I have finished it I am going to re read the series!
I recommend this book to you with a 5 Stars Review
I love this series and all the connected books too. Everything Autumn writes is all linked and meshes perfectly. I hope these characters go on forever! So much fun and constantly laughing at the comments spoken and thoughts the characters have. I highly recommend this series ❤❤❤ My favorite author and I can't wait to be back in the LOKI world again.
Loved Scatter the Bones, from beginning to end! So much story perfectly blended together into Jigsaw and Margot’s 3rd book! This is definitely a must-read, but I do recommend you read Twist the Knife and Collect the Pieces first to get more details and connections of characters. If not, read this book anyway! 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 and two big thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻 Another awesome book by Autumn Jones Lake!!!
