The first thing I noticed was that it's the kind of book that deserved to be read out loud, so this is what I did, I read it to myself first then I took it into school and shared it with our year 3 children. And they loved it too, there was so much laughter coming from the library, and it was great to hear. There was a perfect balance of comedy, suspense and drama that it was difficult to bring the reading session to the end.
And the plot kept you on the edge of your seat. But at the heart of the story is the idea that you will find yourself even if it takes time. And no matter what you are special and unique.
The characters provide the reader with an outstanding cast. The illustrations make the book stand out even more and add to the overall enjoyment of the book.
