This is the conclusion of the Starlight trilogy and I am so satisfied with how it turned out. The battle for Eldoria has finally come to a head and Magda is going to make her final stand. Olivia and Cade has to find a way to finally defeat her. Callie was left heartbroken by Ignis rejection at the end of book two and he had to make a decision if love could find a place in his heart and kingdom in the midst of the turmoil. She learns to take control of her powers in this book which will be helpful in the fight. A suprise appearance and love connection brings a story of redemption that blew me away. The fact that such a beautiful element was included touched me on a deep level. The dragonia's love for Olivia also was so evident in this book as well. I really like how Olivia was finally surrounded by so many people who loved her after a lifetime of loneliness. And the entire ensemble of characters had such great comaraderie, I cared about each of them. The love of family and their friendships showed how there is strength when we stand together and how you feel the loss acutely when one of them is no longer with you. The humor thrown in here and there, especially in the face of such heavy themes was a nice touch.

The battles were great and I like that they were quick and action packed. I cried and laughed in this book and I'm especially happy that Haven included an epilogue so we know what happens to everyone in the future. Such a great ending. I'm sad it's over. I'm hopeful that someday in the future we'll see these characters again.
