The sequel to the brilliantly hilarious TRACY'S HOT MAIL. Tracy's back! Ousted from the office, Tracy teams up with über-iffy agent, Shayne Slider, for an assault on the bottom end of the celebrity market. Tracy's quest to become a C-list celebrity takes her from in-store promotions at her local supermarket to a classy but amoral celebrity event near Harrogate. Despite her hectic lifestyle, Tracy still finds time to inbox her best friend, Emma, with all the latest gossip about her friends, family and new-found showbiz acquaintances. Fruitier than a ten gallon fruit shoot. That's Tracy!
I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you @tabelshaw and @zooloosbooktours for my #giftedbook!
As soon as I finished reading "Tracy's Hot Mail" the first book in this series, I immediately dove into the sequel. Much like the first book, this book is laugh out loud funny. I read it in public, people looked at me, and I kept reading. I also appreciate that this book could be read as a standalone.
Told from Tracy's POV, I continued to enjoy the dynamic between her and her bff Emma. While Tracy's may not be the smartest girl, she is gorgeous and her agent knows how to use this to their advantage. Much like other reviewers, I also draw a parallel between Tracy's character and Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum. While I empathize with Tracy being taken advantage of, I do love her humor and ability to get into random situations.
This is a quick read as it's written in email format. I enjoyed the format of this book and am hoping a book three is in the works!
Tracy is back and doing what she does best - emailing her best friend Emma with all the details of her day.
Tracy isn’t the sharpest tool in the box and some of the stuff she emails to Emma had me snorting with laughter!
We join Tracy as she is trying to establish herself in a role as a ‘celebrity’ and we hear about all the jobs she gets to do as a celebrity. There is more about her driving lessons with Mr Pranger who never feels she is ready for her test!
There isn’t a single bad character in this book, they are all as funny as Tracy which makes the book even funnier.
A funny and enjoyable read that left me smiling every time I went back to read more.
The author is a talented writer, whether it’s his hilarious antics from Tracy or his more serious books. He is definitely one to watch out for.
Review for 'Tracy's Celebrity Hot Mail' by T.A Belshaw.
Read and reviewed for ZooLoos Book Tours and T.A Belshaw.
Publication Date 3rd March 2016.
This is the second book I have read by this author. It is also the second book in the 'Tracy's Hot Mail' series but can be read as a standalone. I have previously read 'Tracy's Hot Mail' which is the first book in the series and 8 would highly recommend it.
This novel consists of 61 chapters/emails. The chapters are short in length so possible to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!
OMFG!!! I CANNOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I LAUGHED SO MUCH OR SO HARD 😂 😂 ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!
I genuinely didn't think a book could get any funnier after reading 'Tracy's Hot Mail' but this book completely smashed it!! I was in absolute stitches so many time I lost count. It is very hard to make a sequel that is better than the first book but you definitely did that T.A Belshaw. I'm not sure if it was because it was longer as I absolutely LOVED it but who cares as they are both absolutely cracking reads! It is such a refreshing larger than life read. I absolutely devoured it in a day and got quite a few funny looks when I burst out laughing while reading it outside the school waiting for my son... I advise you not to do this!! I literally laughed out loud and had tears streaming down my eyes. I have read many books that made me laugh but very few that had my jaw dropping one second and then howling in laughter the next within the first few sentences!!! I loved the double entendres that were littered throughout this book and TA Belshaw placed them perfectly!!!
I absolutely love the fact that this book is written in the format of Facebook messages as it means you can easily finish a chapter quickly and then pick up back where you left off when your ready, not that I needed to do this as I flew through it so quickly. You also get the bonus of a post by her absolutely bonkers Gran!! It is such an easy and fast paced read you can easily read it anywhere. Pick up this book and get ready to meet the most strangest, naive, pervy people you have ever met!!! Tracy constantly made me laugh with her naivety and TA Belshaw captured her essence perfectly in his writing while also showing what life can be like for young women. Tracy was definitely entertaining with her naivety but some of the things that she did were also worthy of a cringe award!! The gossip that Tracy writes to Emma about include her family, her work, the celebs she meets, her nights out, her boyfriend and so much more. Although Tracy is extremely dippy she is also a very likable character and I can't wait to see what she gets up to next!!! Please, please PLEASE tell me you are going to write another book Trevor!!!!
Pick up your copy today to “meet“ Tracy and
😂 Her Dad who has a dodgy job selling nicked veg. However, I had to laugh when he was looking at cars for her as what he did and said reminded me exactly of what my dad does when looking for cars
😂 "See" her take part in a Butch Trucker Trial in Babes in the woods
😂Meet her nemesis Olivia who Tracy tries to get pimped out
😂 Mr Pranger her driving instructor who likes to test her on how she gets in and out of the car in a skirt
😂 Spotty Irene who tries all sorts to clear her face and ends up poisoning 2 men during a Thr33som3 after using a serum was made out of the ground up flesh of the ultra-poisonous Puffer Fish, some Stingray tail and a mixture of different seaweeds.
😂 Meet the potential new love of her life who just happens to be a police officer that her Gran threatened to grass her Dad too
😂 "Watch" her Gran set up a profile on h0t s3x for over forties dating page using Tracy's photo while offering her services such as whipping in her dungeon
And so, so, so much more!! However to find out you need to pick up a copy yourself. I absolutely LOVED the ending but seriously!!! Seriously?!? I need the next book in my life now to find out what her answer will be!!
Although this is the second book in the series I had would have had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader. However, I would recommend you read 'Tracy's Hot Mail' as if you loved this book your guaranteed to love that one too!!
If your feeling down or could just do with a good laugh you NEED Tracy and her family in your life's!! Grab you copy today!! AN ABSOLUTE must read!!!
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to TA Belshaw on what promises to be yet another massive best seller!!! The most hilarious book I have read this year! This is why you are on my favourite author list TA Belshaw and here's to your next explosive and hilarious success which I beg you to bring out soon, I just NEED to know what Tracy decides 🥂!!!

After a crazy few weeks in work and at home I was over the moon to back in Tracy’s world. I was first introduced to Tracy in the novella Tracy’s Hot Mail, and I was immediately drawn into her world as a young lady in an office environment. I missed her gossip and antics so much. It was as though I was away from my workmates for a few weeks, and I couldn’t wait to get back and find out what I had missed. If I am being honest, I’m partial to the odd bit of gossip and curiosity (I like to call it an interest in people) so I adored this book and it’s focus on the perspective of a young lady in the world of work. This time we find Tracy working in a different kind of environment after being replaced at work by a ‘dumb terminal’. Instead she has signed up with an agent (of sorts) with the promise of a showbiz career ahead. Once again, through emails to her pal Emma, Tracy dishes the dirt on a range of people in her life – including her eventful driving lessons with Mr Pranger which are by far my favourite moments. They actually made me snort out loud. I also enjoyed Tracy’s nan too. In real life Tracy would likely drive me nuts however I cannot but help adore her as a book character. She’s a little naïve and a bit unaware of things but she is sweet and means well. I really willed her new venture to be successful. This such a fun, easy read and will have you giggling away like a naughty school child. It’s a great one for journeys/lunch breaks etc. as it’s easy to pick up for quick reads due to the short chapters (emails). A fabulous read that will really pick you up on a blue day.
Ditzy airhead Tracy is back. After being replaced by a machine Tracy is on the hunt for work. She is aiming to do this by way of celebrity and will do anything she can to achieve her goal. With the help of Shane Slider she manages to sell butter in a supermarket, become a sexy elf, and other such disastrous escapades. Along for the ride this time is her gran. A laugh out loud funny, but ultimately quite dispacse character. Thieving, smelly, racist, poltically questionable and outspoken, and despises Tracy's dad, you can't help but laugh at her IDGAF attitude to life. Tracy is still very naive but sweet and wants to believe in the good of all. She maintains a great relationship with her family, and manages to fight off the worst of the leches, despite having driving lesso s for almost 2 years now and not realising why she has such a tiny 'driving outfit' Tracy has a heart of gold and despite some questionable nicknames for her friends, seems to care. This book I'd a lighthearted pick me up kind of read. You can dip in and out, although I never do. Once I start, I'm hooked.
Today, is CV my spot on ZooloosBookTours blog tour for Tracy’s Celebrity Hot Mail by T.A Belshaw. I read this funny novel as an ebook for this tour and I’m happy that I took part on this blog tour as this novel was such a fun and light read. This series of novels have been quite quick and lighthearted reads. I liked both of the novels in the series. The first novel was told via emails sent to Tracy’s best friend, this novel is told by sending Facebook messages. I find this to be a very unique and different way of narrating a novel. This novel was very humorous, and full of hilarious situations. We learn more about Tracy’s hilarious family in this novel, as well as Tracy’s C-list celebrity and promotional work. This novel is simply laugh out loud funny and a joyful read. I’ve enjoyed this series of funny novels so far and I look forward to reading more in the future. I’m giving this novel 4 stars as sometimes it is nice to pick up a fun, humorous and lighthearted novel.
Tracy is back, continuing on from the end of the first book of emails to her best friend Emma and is still the same empty-headed little fluff ball dressed in the skimpiest of clothes. Out of work and preyed upon by every lecherous male in the vicinity, she now has her sights set on becoming famous! In a series of Facebook messages to Emma (Sweaty Sam next door having relented to free use of his Wi-Fi under a blackmail threat), Tracy relates all her hilarious new escapades into the world of stardom with her agent Shayne Slider, including being a revealing elf, a not so successful panto actress and a butter promotor to mention just a few. All this alongside the addition of her smelly shoplifting Gran to the family home, Spotty Irene’s disastrous attempts to home cure her acne and her continuing driving lessons under the extremely watchful eye of Mr Pranger. Tracy continues to see the good in most of the cringeworthy characters that surround her and her outlook on life produces some real laugh out loud moments. Written in brief chapters, it’s ideal for dipping in and out of but once started, I just had to keep on reading to find out all the latest gossip! 5*
After being replaced by a dumb terminal at the office, Tracy teams up with über-iffy agent, Shayne Slider for an assault on the bottom end of the celebrity market. Tracy’s quest to become a C-list celebrity takes her from in-store promotions at her local supermarket, to a celebrity-filled event on the outskirts of Harrogate. Despite her hectic lifestyle, Tracy still finds time to email her best friend, Emma with all the latest news about her friends, family and new-found showbiz acquaintances.
No one dishes the dirt quite like Tracy.
Absolutely brilliant read. I love this series. Hilarious. Oh please do another book. 5*.
As minor C-List Celebrity now, Tracy still loves to keep her friend informed of all the goings on in her life, her new status has definitely not changed her love for gossip.
In the latest edition to Tracy’s life we are gifted with all the latest drama in her life.
This book was again another light-hearted and fun-filled book packed with gossip and the comings and goings of life for a young adult.
I absolutely loved this book, especially Tracy’s nan. She is a right one and I couldn’t help but chuckle aloud at certain points.
Tracy is a gullible, naive young woman and I can’t wait to see what she gets up to next.
Another comedic set of emails from Tracy to her friend Emma that will leave you thinking Jesus christ she really is something else! I really like Neil, I hope things go well for him if there's a third book in this series produced. Gran is hilarious, she could have her own book as far as I'm concerned! You cannot take this series seriously, but if you are looking for a laugh out loud piece of nonsense. This is it!
To begin with, this book is a sequel, but one does not need to read the previous book to enjoy it. It’s also written by a British author, so keep that in mind as you go. The humor in it is definitely different and there are words not normally used in the United States. Also, keep in mind the spellings on various words are different as well, but this book was clean and free of any major errors I could detect. However, that doesn’t necessarily detract from enjoying the book.
It’s written in a series of messages from Tracy to her best friend, Emma. You never see Emma’s side of things, just Tracy’s, but what you do see is quite amusing. Poor Tracy is not the brightest bulb in the box, but apparently she is quite the looker and her ‘agent’ Shayne definitely knows how to take advantage of the fact. I will admit I did find myself feeling sorry for Tracy since she was being taken advantage of, but her antics are still hilarious.
In some ways, even though this was written in the form of Facebook messages, I couldn’t help but draw a few comparisons between this book and Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series. Tracy gets herself in all sorts of scrapes, just as Stephanie does, and Tracy has a crazy grandma that does all kinds of inappropriate things, just like Stephanie’s grandma. Even the family dynamics are similar. Take out the bounty hunting and throw in a hefty dose of gossip and you have Tracy’s Celebrity Hot Mail.
All in all, I quite enjoyed this book, though I did have to use the handy dictionary feature the Kindle has a few times to find out what a word meant in the UK versus the US. One such word was “precinct.” Of course, I immediately thought of a police precinct, but it turns out there are shopping precincts. Who knew? So if you enjoy British humor, my guess is you’ll enjoy this book quite a bit.
I loved Book 1, Tracy's Hot Mail, so I couldn't wait to dive into the second book in the series, Tracy's Celebrity Hot Mail.
I wasn't disappointed. More antics and scrapes that Tracy finds herself in. And let's not forget the driving instructor, Mr. Pranger. He's just one of the shady characters she finds herself embroiled with. Shayne Slider, her agent. I think a better name for him would be Shayne Shyster, but anyway, that should give you an idea of the shenanigans and antics throughout the pages of this book.
Like the first book, it's written as emails to her friend, Emma. I laughed out loud many times while reading it.
I also have the third book in this fantastic series, and I can't wait to find out what Tracy Does Next.
Love this book series imagine Bridget Jones as a dumb blonde and you’ve got it. She’s so naive too and this book is great, more of her career and the things she gets up to just to get on the television or newspapers such a fun read
