I really enjoyed this book. It's the sort of book for short reads. All its delightful stories are short and there are some lovely poems as well. Some stories or poems are humorous, some are moving, and some have a faith-related message. It the sort of book that would make a great gift.
I'm not a big fan of short stories or quick reads. I love to luxuriate in long, epic, fast-paced stories; I long to get to know the characters deeply not just make their nodding acquaintance for a few minutes; I yearn for the emotional wallop of a heartbreaking surprise.
With more than 50 authors, this is a kaleidoscope of talent. There are several beautifully crafted tales in this collection, which actually fulfilled my desires above. I particularly liked The Garish Orange Frame, Wonderfully Made and An Innocent Error of Joy.
