Dick is back. His rage consumed him and everything he thought he knew about the world was wrong. Brigit has always believed that her father was repurposed for a mission but never knew what it could be. He keeps telling others he doesn’t mean to cull individuals. He needs to learn to accept his part in everything he has done.

When he thought that his life had concluded and love wasn’t in the cards for him, he was wrong. Love doesn’t always come in the way you expect. You live your life and think you know who you are, what you desire and what makes you feel passion. Only to find out that everything that you have felt in the past was wrong. Now what his body can endure will be put to the test.

Life finds a way, and so can love. The betrayal that is felt is so much more when Dick’s feelings are betrayed by someone he cherishes. You can’t choose who you love, but you can choose who you kill. Now who can he trust, how can he love, why can’t he die? As a couple, they may find their way out of this nightmare. We’ll have to see who will survive.
