Donna: Touching the Truth was a wonderful discovery. Written by an author with a keen eye for the subtle complexities of human relationships, this book invites readers to look beyond appearances and social divides, revealing how truth often emerges from the most unexpected connections.

At its core, the story explores the meeting of people from vastly different backgrounds—individuals who differ not only in personality but in social class and life experience. And yet, despite these contrasts, something real and transformative begins to unfold. The author shows how, even in today’s fractured world, we can still learn from one another—especially from those who are nothing like us.

WOW, JUST WOW! The writing is clear, emotionally rich, and quietly powerful. What stands out most is the way empathy is portrayed—not as a vague ideal, but as a real force capable of breaking down barriers, opening hearts, and sometimes, even changing lives.

Donna: Touching the Truth is a book about humanity, connection, and unexpected growth. It stays with you because it reminds us that truth isn’t always comfortable, but it can be deeply freeing. And that even the most unlikely relationships can lead to mutual understanding—if we’re willing to listen. Sometimes, empathy is the key to everything.
Alas, the story has reached its conclusion. If only I could take the place of Donna, the protagonist.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Recommended for: anyone who enjoys honest, human-centered storytelling and believes that our differences can be a source of strength—not division.

This is such a lovely book: heart-warming, feel good and with a happy ending.
If you are a man who had suffered at the hands of the women that loved your possessions more than you, then you might find Donna: Touching the Truth, especially soothing and hopeful- there are some caring and loving, genuine, good women out there, honestly! :o)

It was such a nice touch, I thought, that the closeness between two people was allowed to develop authentically, soul to soul first, before the physical side of love developed; so rare in the contemporary times, but so pure and wholesome.

In addition to the sweet love story, there are other layers- such as, what is the best way to use one's wealth? How many second chances does the person who wronged you badly, deserve?

Modern world sometimes feels so confused and chaotic; eternal values, such as honesty, kindness and forgiveness, where are they..? Yes as the writer, one is a " messenger to the humanity", and Franco offers goodness and virtues, strength and confidence, to inspire us all.

I also liked that the writing style was an easy flow and natural; this is a rare talent and so hard to write this way- the structure and the rhythm, the length of the sentences, the punctuation; not too many adjectives- just enough etc etc.

Franco is a writer who knows his craft and I hope he'll continue delighting us with his books :)
