About the author

Sandra Alex is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, and immigrated to the United States in 1978, to attend an intensive English course in Iowa City, IA, with additional training in transcription of spoken recordings, book editing, and English-Portuguese-English translations. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she currently lives with her husband. An entrepreneur turned creative writer, Sandra worked for ten years towards the publication of her first book while raising a daughter, starting up and running a successful software business with two partners, and consulting for major television studios. Currently, Sandra runs the small production company, Shoot to Film (www.shoottofilm.com), and has launched Livre Press, Inc. (www.livrepress.net) to support her career as a self-publishing author.

This is book one in The Insatiable Series and it is Jagger and Bowie’s story and omg what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Jagger and Bowie have history because at one time they were a couple and so in love while looking forward to a future together only for it all to fall apart without Bowie giving Jagger a chance to explain exactly what happened and now years later they are still rivals and enemies in the same type of business. When Bowie’s partner in life and business Boston cheats on her with another woman she is so angry and eventually walks away from him but determined to make him pay for what he had done. Jagger is determined to not have Bowie working for him because he feels like she could sabotage his business but in the end she convinced him that she is not out to sabotage his business but help him so in the end Jagger gives her a job and it ends up being the best decision he has ever made but they need to make sure that Boston doesn’t seek revenge because it could derail everything that Jagger had achieved and worked hard for while putting his business in jeopardy so they will all have to be on their guard and protect everything that they have built. Jagger and Bowie still have strong attraction and chemistry and are also still in love with each other even after all the years apart and because they also work well together and are also perfect together and for each other will they both take a chance and have the future together that they always wanted and deserved or will they keep everything professional and miss out on something so special, only time will tell what the outcome will be for them in the end. This book pulled you in and kept your attention throughout while turning the pages to see what happened next and I couldn’t put this book down as it was so addictive and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

This book had me blushing so hard, but that is nothing compared to how hard I was laughing. This book had me in stitches. The title Until You’re Breathless is perfect for this book, because I was laughing so hard (especially at the end of the book) I couldn’t catch my breath. My husband thought I was going crazy and in his defense I might be lol. First I was screaming NOOOOO I don’t want it to end and then I was laughing hysterically 😄.

What do you do when your whole life crashes down around you after 15 years? You pick yourself up and start over duh. Will Bowie and Jagger be able to make their working relationship work after the way everything ended 15 years prior to their reconciliation?

NOTE: As I am writing this review, I am noticing a few things about some of the characters and their names. I’m not sure if this was intentional but it’s just a pattern I noticed. Bowie (David Bowie), Jagger (Mick Jagger), Axl (Axl Rose), Jinny (1990s Italian Band), Stevie (Stevie Wonder or Stevie Nicks), Halen (Van Halen), Boston (1975 American Rock Band) and Rush (1968 Canadian Rock Band) to name a few. Weather this was intentional or not I love it lol 😄.

A new series is always fun and Jagger's story starts it off perfectly. Jagger is married to his company, he has one goal to complete to bring his company to the top. His European business deal. Bowie's personal life is falling apart but it's her professional one that she is more concerned about. She walks away from everything and takes a chance on approaching Jagger for a job. These two characters we each other's first love but one night it ended abruptly and no one looked back. Alot of characters that i cannot not wait to get to know. It's all about business and pleasure with that amazing partnership of balance to take it all. Enjoy!.

This story is one drama filled read. Jagger and Bowie were once a couple until she caught him in the act causing them to go their separate ways. History repeats itself when she finds evidence of her current partner doing the same thing which has her seeking revenge by going to Jagger for a job. It restarts their path and has them questioning everything they thought they believed. Will their reconnection have them rekindling their love for a second chance for happiness.

High schools sweethearts until one night broke them apart. Later down the line Bowie's life does a 180 and she ends up applying to work for jaggers company. After she starts there it is clear that the feelings they thought were gone are still very much alive. Definitely a great second chance at love for these two!.

This is not your usual Sandra Alex book. Book 1 of the Insatiable series has no cliffhanger but it has a lot of heart. This second chance romance brings two people back together after a misunderstanding. I enjoyed how the author gives us the backstory while still keeping the current story moving through flashbacks. The characters are well developed, the story flows and the ending is satisfying. I hope to see this couple again in future storylines.

This one left me breathless on multiple levels. The spice left me breathless. The unexpected hilarity left me breathless. I've read several books by this author in the past and they were the normal contemporary romance novels, but this one... It was truly special. The writing was witty and very well paced. You can't help but fall in love with the MCs. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Jagger and Bowie have history, ties that haven't been completely cut and still linger between them so many years later. You would expect there to be a bit more revenge in a story like theirs, but I still thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I can't wait to read the coming books in the series and see who the family and friends couple up with.

Not my particular cup of tea but I see the vision how it could appeal to others. The high school sweetheart bit and flashbacks were really cute but generally I think I would’ve enjoyed the story more if the conflict and resolution were bigger.

This was a move away from a cliffhanger series that I'm used to from this author, I liked that change. I'm sure we'll see more of Jagger & Bowie in the series but I like their story is complete. The flashbacks helped tell the story without a drawn out time jump.
