My wife, my wife. Folks gon’ learn to stop playing with my wife. Ain’t a soul on this earth I’d choose over Heaven. She’s my world, my peace, and the reason why it’s about to be a whole lot of slow singing and flower bringing. The way she loves me got me feeling unhinged in the best way. I’ve always been a provider, but now? I’m taking it to another level—diamonds on her neck, a roof over her head she ain’t gotta lift a finger to pay for, and my last name inked across her soul. I’ll kill for her, die for her, and if it comes down to it, I’ll burn this whole city to the ground just to keep her mine.
Who would’ve thought? Little ol’ Heaven Lee—the wife of a man like Turnpike Mike. Loving him? It’s like a drug. Intoxicating. Addictive. Ain’t no rehab strong enough to make me quit. When he steps in the room, everybody stops, but I’m the only one who gets to have him. And because I’ve tasted this kind of love, I refuse to let anybody snatch it from me. So consider this a warning—Turnpike Mike is mine, and I need him like you need air. Call it chaotic, co-dependent, or whatever you want—it’s our world, and everybody else is just living in it.
This is the finale of The Wife Of Turnpike Mike by Reese Laflare. If you're a fan of second chance romance and African American romance, you’ll love this one.
I write based on experiences and to help prevent others from going down the same road as me. Each novel I create will focus on different aspects of street life. My mission is to bring awareness to modern-day drug usage, imprisonment, and other issues.
I wish there was some honest review before I read part two so called final if you want to call it that for one Mariah should’ve never made it to the last page of this book. She had to go. And heaven should’ve have took the shot end of story…The last chapter should’ve been a happy Go lucky life..They never even spoke about the kids and nothing else and that ending didn’t makes no mf sense. Was totally bs towards the ending of the 📕 just wasted time I can’t get back I’m 😡 about it..
This was a good read but to me Mariah should have never gotten as far as she did. Homegirl was really obsessed with Mike. I just wonder how she ended up with Blaze if she shot herself. Junie was getting on my nerves for the little time he was relevant because his mama wasn't shyt and she definitely didn't deserve Mike's respect mother or not. I'm glad Mike got is daughter away from his mother because she was ruining that baby. I love how Heaven loved on her like she was her own tho. I'm happy for Top and Yoshi cause his wife really didn't deserve him.💟💟
Page turning love it. Mike mother should've let In mike handle Austin he was. Truly sick. and Mariah she was dulusion too. I'm glad Top and Yosih got together. Heaven mother and father was mess.
There were some truly dark characters in "The Wife Of Turnpike Mike," and not all of them got their just desserts! Still, Mike and Heaven's story was excellent reading with a small twist at the end! Thanks, Reese Laflare!
It was a good book. Some questions was left unanswered. What happen to gutta?? Also a female detective Mike talked to, was never revealed who is she?? Bronx Mob they introduced him for a reason. Is a story coming?? Read for yourself to get a better understanding.
Now that is how an ending is suppose to go I always wanted to read a book where the crazy chick that just was a fu-k and so in love and just won’t let go have to see the man move on and be happy without killing her
I absolutely LOVE the boss Heaven became. The last bit of the book had me so proud of her!!! I’m so satisfied with how Austin’s crazy self was handled! Turnpike Mike def have a golden penis 😂 the way the ladies was fiending for that man .. whewww
I enjoyed this book and I'm happy that it ended like that did. Everybody got what they deserved. She definitely was not a mother and in the end it bit in her butt.
Mariah done pissed me off. But heaven you a real one for stepping up to be a mother to Mike baby loved that. And my man Top didn’t deserve that wack wife of his he too good I’m happy for him and Yoshi
