On the Rocks
Cora is known as the Masked Mixer, and she is at an event when she runs into her ex Aiden. Aiden has his own business, and it just so happens to be an alcoholic beverage company. He goes to offer Masked Mixer a business opportunity and is stunned when she turns him down and refuses to use his brand during the event. The next day Cora's friend tricks her into meeting another person from Aiden's company and things are going well until Aiden shows up. When the money and the chance to create her videos in the lab are offered up its too much for her to refuse. Sparks reignite between them and its not long before the get together again. Will this be a second chance for them? Or will old reasons break them up again?

James and Kaitlyn meet at his club when her sister is having her bachelorette party there. When Kaitlyn has an accident with a waiter James steps in and offers help and offers her party an upgrade. Now to long later Cameron and her run into each other in the building they live in. During the time in the elevator, she learns about the issue his pr team is having problems with and she offers some free help which works. So, its a no brainer but to convince her to take the job. Once they are working together its not long before things get complicated as they become the faces of the company's latest campaign. Things get very real between them. Can this be something more between them? or will Cameron make it all about work?
This is an amazing collection that will captivate you with each story. This is a well written and very entertaining collection. This is a collection that any book lover would enjoy.

Wow, what a great nine book box set by Leslie North. All books were previously published and it’s a great bargain and convenient to have them bundled. I read some of these books previously as free arcs. Included are the first three books in the Manhattan Bosshole Series, The Billionaire Bosshole Series and The Bossy Glendale Billionaire Series. All the books are full-length with happy endings and no cliffhangers. I read this box set a a free review copy via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to write a review. Perfect (Mis)match #1 of Manhattan Bossholes is one that I hadn’t previously read. You’ll love Piper and Vincent’s story that begins when he rear-ends her car. A fake relationship and plenty of drama. Does fake become real?
On the Rocks #2 Manhattan Bossholes is one that I previously read and gave a five-star review to. Aiden and Cora were high school sweethearts until he broke her heart. And he breaks her heart even more when they run into each other 15 years later and he doesn’t recognize her. She’s a mixlogy expert with dreams of opening a speakeasy and he’s a billionaire liquor creator. After much ado, she finally accepts his too good to be true job offer. Old sparks ignite and her troublesome ex comes back into the picture. What secret is her mother keeping. Why does he break her heart a third time? What about the anger management issues? This was a great book with an engaging story line. An emotional roller coaster with a happy ending and no cliffhanger. I loved how Aiden had such special friends and how they all supported each other and welcomed Cora. There’s always a way for love to succeed if you work at it. A few thrown shoes, a broken zipper, a shared bed and a new job as his assistant. He was a major sports agent and a total jerk. Prepare to lose a little sleep because you won't be able to put this book down. Some drama, some angst with his clients, a manipulating ex and some cute banter. A good story with well-developed characters and an engaging storyline. I read a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Boxed Set. The arrangement I read was different than what is presented. There were three sets of three full-length related novels. They all have in common a grumpy (rich) boss relationship. The first is Mr. Grump, Mr. Jerk, and Mr Cocky. The second set is Bossy Glenhaven Billionaires: The Bossy One with Declan and Olivia, The Grumpy One with James and Natalie (not to be confused with the James that was Mr. Grump with Kaitlyn in the first set), and the Grouchy One with Cameron and Felicity. The last set is Manhatten Bosses: Vincent, Aiden, and Trent. The bosses may be rich and grumpy but the heroines are talented, hard-working, bubbles of sunshine that make every plot completely different!

a perfect compilation of lovable short books. are those the best books ever written? no, but they do what they are designed to do: for a short while you can escape into a cute fantasy of big feelings, while still doing a great job of giving the story some background. easy, predictable, perfect!
