A Caribbean transplant, Avril now lives in Stone Mountain, GA., with a tolerant Spousal Equivalent. Together they raise an eccentric daughter who loves reading and school (not so much school anymore). Avril’s earliest memories of reading revolve around discussing plot points of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys with an equally book-minded mother
Always in love with the written word, Avril finally decided to do the writing in August of ’09 and never looked back. Spicy love scenes, delicious heroes, and wicked women burn up the pages of Avril’s stories, but there’ll always be a happy ending; Av remains a believer of love in all its forms.
A very enjoyable novella, that I wished was longer, these two men are totally adorable. Being an innocent bystander in a bank as its being robbed and having a gun waved in you face can freak you out and leave an impact, six months later the nightmare turns up again. A push and pull as one man desperately tries to win back the man he loves.
This was the first book that I read by Ms Ashton. It was a really good novella. I totally enjoyed it. Jameson and Pax's story was romantic, sensual and interesting. Pax was devastated when he found out about Jameson's secret, but the love was strong and they made it through it. So good! Short but sweet. I recommend this novella for those that enjoy m/m romances.
I've read this before. Not sure why I never added it to my 'read' list. Anyway, this storyline made no sense to me. High society, with all the money in the word and distinguished careers, but robbing banks still as a thrill? It's the family business? What?? Ugh
