KA Linde is killing me with this series. KILLING ME! The 'Blood Type' series is so addictive and consuming. I can't get enough! I thought the first book ended on a cliffhanger... well, I hadn't seen anything yet! The ending of this one... gah! I die. Thank goodness the wait between these books aren't long!

Reyna Carpenter was not in a good place when we last saw her. Life was not turning out how she planned and she was in real danger. This story took off right where the last left off. My heart was beating so fast and I was so anxious for how things would turn out for Reyna. Just as I thought things were calming down, BAM. Something else happened that shocked me.

Reyna and Becks. I love them together. Seriously, I can't imagine a world where these two don't end up together. They're meant to be. Their connection is more than just sexual, they are a true match in every sense. You can feel it. I don't know where the next book will go, but I have to have faith things will work out.

This has to be one of the best paranormal romance series I've ever read. They've captivated me from the start and always leave me wanting more. Kyla has done an amazing job with the characters, story line, and of course- the angst! I highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys PNR!!!

KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

‘BLOOD MATCH’ is the second book in KA. Linde’s ‘Blood Type' series and is a continuation of Reyna's and Beckham's riveting story..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

As we saw in the previous book as a last resort Reyna had decided to work for Visage out of desperation, her brothers were working hard long hours in the warehouse district where they lived, and she couldn't get a job anywhere without a college degree, let alone even afford money to go to college after the depression ripped through the country. Which is how her new job became the live-in blood escort for the intimidating, demanding, and devilishly handsome Beckham Anderson.

Blood Match, picks up right where Blood Type left off, where she'd run off out of Beck's penthouse after he'd bitten her and had run straight into the arms of her kidnappers of Visage. Now held captive and used solely as a blood bag due to her very rare blood type, for one of the most powerful vampires of his time. Fifty six days she'd been pocked with needles, fifty six days she'd had no access to the outside world. She knew nothing of Beckham or her brothers.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The only thing keeping her sane was her reunion she'd play over and over inside her head when she'd see Beckham again.

Reyna has lost that naivety that clung to her like a cloak, now she's become hardened by the harsh reality of living in a vampires world and is nothing like the heroine we saw in the previous book.

This does start off slowly but as you progress further into the book more information comes to light. Like book#1 Reyna still had a penchant for finding herself in trouble. New alliances are formed and old enemies are still trying to strike out. And absolutely nothing could prepare me for how things ended, my love bubble was burst, my mouth was hanging open in shock, the unfairness of it all sank in, surely it couldn't be right, surely that's not how it really ends. And like everyone else before me we're all wanting, needing the next book to get us over this cliffy. I thought Book#1's cliffy was bad but the way this ended was brutal.

Blood Match is the second book in the Blood Type Series. The series must be read in order. A paranormal romance with passion, action, and complex characters, Blood Match offers a breathtaking, heart-stopping, gripping story that you will not be able to put down. Reyna Carpenter has been kidnapped and has been ripped away from Beckham. The battle between right and wrong has heightened and Reyna and Becks are in the fight for their lives. As Reyna longs for Becks to rescue her, Becks is desperate to keep her safe no matter the cost. Reyna finds herself reunited with her family and friends and is immediately thrust into the center of the rebellion. But with every victory, there is a loss. The stakes are high for Reyna and Beckham to simply stay alive!

description
"She drank him in like a person lost in the desert, seeing a mirage, and drinking the sand to satisfy an impossible, unquenchable thirst."
Told in dual POV, Blood Match is a fast paced action paranormal romance with a strong alpha hero and a spunky heroine . The plot is quite complex and as the plot continues to develop, there is more intrigue. The tempo of the read is fast paced and as the passion between Becks and Reyna continues to grow, the depth of their love only grows stronger!

Overall, I highly recommend Blood Match to anyone who enjoys a well crafted paranormal romance. Be forewarned, Blood Match ends on another cliffy! I am dying for the third book!!!! K.A. Linde is a new author to me and this series has captivated me completely!

This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life in Books.

This was good read. I didn't like this book quite as much as the first book but I still found it to be quite enjoyable. This is the second book in the Blood Type series which is a series that really needs to be read in order since the three books come together to tell a single story. This book does end in a cliffhanger like the first book from the series did. I don't usually care for cliffhangers but I knew going into this book that the story would be continued in the next book which would be coming out pretty quickly. I really did enjoy this second chapter in Reyna and Beckham's story.

There may be spoilers from the first book in this review.

The first book in the series, Blood Type, left Reyna in a pretty desperate situation. I have been eager to see what would happen next ever since finishing that story so I decided to jump into this book to see how things would work out. Life with Harrington is nothing like the life she had with Beckham. She spends her time giving blood and is fairly miserable.

There is quite a bit of action and excitement in the book with more than a few surprises worked into the story. The mysterious Elle organization plays a much larger role in this book with Reyna spending a lot of time with them. There is a pretty large cast of characters that all add to the story. Reyna and Beckham are still the stars of the book. I love how much both of their characters have developed since the start of the series and how well they fit with each other.

I would recommend this series to others. I think it is a very well done and original vampire romance with a nice dose of heat. I cannot wait to read more from K.A. Linde soon.

Initial Thoughts
I didn't like this one quite as much as the first book but I did find it quite enjoyable. This is definitely a series that needs to be read in order and it picks up just after the events of the first book. Reyna and Becks were both great in this one and I also really enjoyed the secondary characters. I wish that the third book was available since this book ended with a rather tragic situation.

Well hell....
What am I supposed to do with my life now? 😂😂

The drama and excitement are certainly amped up in this installment of this captivating series.
Reyna finds herself in a most difficult situation, but fights her way through.

Here’s what I loved:
The introduction of new characters. Seeing more of the resistance and how they’re working to right the wrongs was fantastic. This book has a lot more social commentary than expected. The romance actually feels like a secondary character. It’s an engaging read.
Obvi, I love Beckham. The progression of his character and relationship with Reyna were exactly what I wanted. I needed to see his conviction.
Same with Reyna! I needed to see her dedication to her man and the cause. I loved her in this one.

The ending left me sobbing in my Cheerios, but I trust this author to put me back together again.

If paranormal reads are your jam, you have to read this series!

It was ok...just really OTT and I got super bored. It was a near DNF but since the book isn't too long I finished it. Honestly, every character in this book is annoying.
The heroine is so good and so perfectly naive....
The hero is a douche who kills his ex-lovers but with the heroine, he doesn't kill her after they sleep together.... he is such a dream!!!
The side characters:- I already forget them....

The Captive and the First Blood Game by K.A. Linde – 4 stars

This series is the definition of a beautiful disaster. The kind of book where you mutter “this is ridiculous” at least once a chapter… and then keep turning pages like you’ve sold your soul to the drama gods. And book two? It’s bigger, darker, and somehow even more of a train wreck I can’t look away from.

Reyna’s situation is brutal: imprisoned by the vampire elite, stripped of freedom, and used for her blood like a walking wine decanter. Her only lifeline is hope—hope that she’ll escape, hope that Beckham will be there on the other side, hope that her life isn’t completely ruined. Except, of course, getting out of the dungeon doesn’t mean the nightmare’s over. The world outside has shifted, loyalties have cracked, and Reyna herself isn’t the same girl we met at the start.

Now, I need to talk about the romance. The back-and-forth between Reyna and Beckham is enough to give a person a serious headache. Do they love each other? Hate each other? Both, within the same page? Half the time I wanted to sit them down and force them into couples therapy. And yet—and yet—there’s this undercurrent of chemistry that makes me keep rooting for them, even when I know I shouldn’t. Toxic, thy name is vampire romance.

But what really had me grinding my teeth was how everyone decided Reyna’s captivity was somehow her fault. Excuse me? She was kidnapped, tortured for weeks, and still gets blamed like she invited it? The amount of victim-shaming here is astronomical. Meanwhile Beckham skates by with his brooding scowl and military jacket, because apparently accountability is for mortals. I lost track of how many times Reyna was guilted into apologizing when she should have been throwing hands instead.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get more exhausting, we get saddled with the jealous ex-girlfriend subplot. Because clearly what this story needed was an unnecessary “other woman” to stir the pot. Spoiler: it didn’t. That entire arc felt like a soap opera extra wandered onto the set.

So why four stars? Because in the middle of all this mess, Reyna finally starts to stand tall. She finds her voice, calls people out, and occasionally manages to be the smartest person in the room. Her moments of strength and her bond with her brothers were the best part of the book for me. Those dynamics gave me just enough grounding to wade through the melodrama.

The Captive and the First Blood Game is dramatic, chaotic, and often maddening—but also impossible to quit. If you liked the first book’s cliffhanger, you’ll want to know how this all unravels. If you’re new, prepare yourself for angst, toxic romance, political backstabbing, and more eye-roll-inducing tropes than you can shake a stake at. It’s messy, it’s flawed, but I’ll admit it—I had a blast.

Thank you Netgalley, Entangled Publishing and the author for the ARC, all opinions are my own.

thoroughly enjoyed Blood Match, the second book in the Blood Type trilogy. Like the previous book this too ended in a cliff-hanger, which had me quickly searching for the next book.

To recap, Reyna desperate to earn money went to work for Visage as a blood escort. She ended up becoming a permanent blood escort for the enigmatic Beckham Anderson. At the end of book one Reyna found herself in a precarious position. In Blood Match, which picked up where book one left off and we see Reyna being held captive by Beckham’s boss, Harrington, where she was being used solely for her blood because of her rare blood type. Her life with Harrington was literally that of a prison. She had no access to the outside world and she was constantly being poked by needles. Her sanity was hanging by a
thread, however her hope of a reunion with Beckham and her brothers helped to keep her sane.

The story started out slow and gradually picked up the pace leading up to a jaw dropping end. Interesting information came to light regarding Beckham and his role in the Elle the mysterious organization fighting against the vampire hierarchy. I learned so much more about him, which provided a better understanding of his character.

Reyna was no longer the naive person I met in book one. Her experience as a result of her being held captive by Harrington gave her a first-hand experience of harsher side of the vampire world. However, the things that remained the same were her impulsiveness, her ability to ask a million and one questions and her propensity for attracting trouble.

Her relationship with Beckham has blossomed. I love how protective Beckham was towards Reyna, but at the same time allowing her the freedom to be herself. I loved seeing them together.

This installment introduced new characters were brought into the mix and they helped to make things interesting. The story had its share of action and suspense. There were twists that I never saw coming, but the most brutal of all was the ending. It left me in a state of shock. Even as I am writing this review, I keep wondering if it was a plot to trick the enemy. It had to be, there could be no other logical explanation.

Conclusion/Recommendation
Overall, a solid story and one I would recommend to fans of paranormal romance.

Narration
Caitlin Elizabeth continues to narrate the series. She has improved since the first book I loved how she handled the voices for each character. Her voices were distinct and she brought life to the story.

RECENSIONE QUI: https://thereadingslove.blogspot.com/...

This book was much better than the first. I could see our main female character development and she's no more that stuborn like she used to be. But, Omg! That freaking ending! Noooo!! I can't believe this is happening. Gosh! The plot, the twist, the romance, the Character development - this are worth my reading time. Going to read the last book of the trilogy right freaking now!

DNF 60%

This is barely a romance novel.
By that I mean the MCs don’t have much page time with each other. By 50%, the MCs have interacted with each other only twice - about 10 pages total.
H was engaged and was with the ow, and the h was desperate to be with him. Just pathetic.
This 2nd book was boring.

The tstl annoying h from book 1 is still stupid, alas she’s still putting herself and other people in danger from her stupidity.

- also the same OW drama happens in this book.
I didn’t read the entire book, but from a review I just read, apparently the H lied about the fake dating the ow? He did have a year long “sexual” relationship with the ow. But it fizzled out when the h came into the picture, but it doesn’t say exactly when he stop sleeping with the ow.

(What the ow said in front of the h)
“What? We all know it’s true. I don’t accept that this ends any other way for me. There is no way that you fuck me, drink from me for over a year, and then leave me for some warehouse rat. I always get what I want and what I want is you.”

He was in fact in a real relationship with BOTH girls, so he’s a fucking cheater.

I am done with this series.🤷🏻‍♀️

*May Contain Spoilers—Readers be Aware*

Blood Match is the second book in the trilogy and after the ending of Blood Type, I jumped pretty quickly into this one here. Seriously…if you want to read this trilogy—-which anyone that loves a paranormal romance—you want to trust me; but you do want to get all three books in hand you don’t want to deal with the cliffhanger and not have the next book to read.

So just to recap what happens at the end of Blood Type (and yes this review contains spoilers so just skip ahead to the bottom of the overview if you don’t care for spoilers)

At the end of Blood Type, Reyna has been kidnapped by Harrington when she was betrayed by her friend Elliot. At the start of Blood Match, Reyna has a beautiful dream of being with Beckham, but then she wakes up in her reality where she has been held captive for two months by Harrington. He found out that her blood, is a rare blood type, perfect for him and he feeds off of her once a week and gives her his venom in return. But Reyna never gives up hope that Beckham still loves her and is searching for her. But she is starting to lose hope. She tried to escape once, and was shocked literally because Harrington implanted her arm with a device where they track her movements. We see the torment and the effect of being held against her will in a glass cage and how the love she has for Beckham changes her.

Every breath and every heartbeat and every minute of every day was spent waiting for you.

But when Reyna starts to fight back against Harrington and he shows her into a room, a room where no one can see her, she sees through a window, a ball and she gets an eyeful of Beckham and calls out to him and even though he can’t see her, their gazes connect somehow and in that moment, new life breathes into Reyna. She begins planning to escape but right when she thought she might never get a chance, she is surprised when a new nurse busts her out of her jail cell. They flee Visage Headquarter and rescue one other girl and the team that rescues Reyna will be some of her closest allies.

Reyna is then taken to the ELLE headqurters, Elle is the rebel base for those fighting against Harrington and his regime. She is brought to base expecting and hoping to see Beckham but he is not there, however she has a beautiful reunion with her brothers and she never knew if she would see them again or if Harrington would kill them but thankfully we learn that Elle got to them first. But on her first day back, free, she learns that Beckham is engaged to Penelope, althought she doesn’t know if its for real or fake.

But then when she least expects it, she wakes up to Beckham sitting on her chair in her room, and she is shocked to see him. But things are tense between Beckham and Reyna, and her emotions get better of her and they both make mistakes, and Beckham leaves which leaves Reyna feeling empty and full of regret.

Reyna then meets the head of ELLE, who is a vampire woman and a strong leader. She is strict at times and very controlling and calculating. And is adament that Reyna stays contained for her own safety. But Reyna has been in her own kind of hell and prison for months and needs freedom. But when she takes the risk with two friends, she almost risks everything when she runs into an old friend who betrayed her Elliiot. Even though both Beckham and Sydney (head of Elle) are furious with her, she stands up to them and she and Beckham finally get a chance to be open and honest with each other and their relationship begins anew.

When we were together, when you bit me, it was the best moment of my life, Becks. I trusted you. I told you I trusted you and then I spit in your face. I was wrong. You showed me the real you.

I found this installment to be just as good as book one (or almost) it definitely is quite different and we see the emotional and mental after effects of imprisonment and torture that Reyna has to overcome. We see the strong connection between Reyna and Beckham especially when we learn that their blood is perfect for each other and they have a rare case of being mates. We see such a strong bond of trust and affection form between them, they both have loved and lost so much, but finding each other again breathes new life into their relationship but unfortuntately they will be tested .

Beckham was imprinted on her heart

The ending was spectacular and intense and way more cliffy then book one ended in…and honestly if I didn’t trust that book three would end happily, I would have been more than upset but thankfully I knew I had book three to pick up the story with or I would not have been a happy camper at all!!!

Disclosure: I received an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of this book in exchange for an honest review. As someone who loves supporting indie authors, I always aim to share thoughtful, fair feedback. While I have personal reading preferences like a love for fantasy, horses, or specific tropes, I never let that impact my rating unless it is relevant to the book’s intent or audience. I review with the genre and readership in mind. Thank you Netgalley for the copy!

Lovers of vampire romances and dark romances, this one is definitely for you. Girl kept and used as a bloodbag, crazyness in a weird and dark facility, obsession and madness.

As a mood reader this was not my moment for this book but usually I can incredibly enjoy twisted book like this, I love vampire romances and this one definitely stood out with the unique plot. The cover is stunning, those edges are gorgeous and I would buy a copy just to have this as a trophy on my shelf.

This is book two of the series and I absolutely recommend reading book 1 first, you will feel lost without it and miss part of the stories. I am very sure it wasn't meant to be read as a standalone, so if you don't know the series please head over to book 1 and read some of the incredibly reviews there.

Holy Hell!! Kyla - you have definitely outdone yourself with this series!! WOW I am loving that this series is very unique in it's tale and the spin that Kyla is taking on with vampires. It just makes this series so much enjoyable.

Blood Match starts out with a bang (or fang lol) and not once does this story line ease up at all. WOW! I love the pace of this story so much - pulse pumping and so intriguing. I felt my heart racing the entire time I read this book - so engaging and enticing.

Blood Match starts off where Blood Type ends. Reyna finds her in the prison of Visage - she is truly what she signed up for - a blood donor. However, it's not the in way she anticipated, not that she minds in anyway. However, Reyna feels that he life is nothing since she does the same thing day in and day out with no escaping it. Until she is given the chance to see another side of Visage.

Reyna thinks things couldn't be worse than they already are for her but has no idea how truly depraved and conniving Harrington really is. Beckham is trying to keep up pretenses with everything while also trying to win Reyna back into his good graces.

Kyla does not let us down at all with the second book in this series. There is so much still going on within this world and so many questions about things. I love all the new twist and turns she gives us. Kyla leaves us hanging on to each page as we read, desperate to know where things go from here. And that ending - OMG!!! I need book three NOW!!!

OHHH MY GAWWWD cliffy sh!!t no way........

I'm seriously reeling and feeling WTF and trying not to cry. Okay, but I'm going to say this I love Beckham and I think this book really brought out who is he and how he became and his chemistry with Reyna wow crush lol but still the storyline just got more better and better as you read on. All the surprise in book 2 didn't prepare me for it so I'm crossing my fingers and more worried for book 3.

Let's start with the fact, which is, "I FUCKING HATE HARRINGTON" he is a pure bastard.
I cany even breath with the weight that was dropped on me in the end of this book.

This is not even a cliffhanger, it's like I was dropped from the top of the Visage building.

Anyways as you probably know from reading book one, Reyna was kidnapped by Harrington but she was saved and is now living at the Elle headquarters. Elle is a rebel group who stands against everything Visage is.

Anyways things get hotter, steamer and dirtier between reyna and Becks and now Everett is back.

It is a fucking disaster and....
Becks fucking di....
Just read it

Book two in the "Blood Type" series turned out to be even more exciting than the first! The end of the book was so shocking, I had to immediately begin the third and final conclusion to the series!!! The cliffhanger ending is exactly why I prefer to wait until the trilogies are all complete before jumping into them! I am certainly thanking my lucky stars that I waited for this trilogy to be complete!

I highly recommend this paranormal romance to readers who love this genre! It is unique, exciting, and full of surprises! The relationship between Reyna ( who is human) and Beckham ( who is a vampire) is primal, and they are truly meant for each other. The unfortunate part is that they have so much going against them. I really hope that there will be a positive outcome for these two; but at this point...I have no idea. I am glued to the pages though, and am dying to get through book three to see what is all going to happen!! I can't stress enough how awesome this series is!! Time to get back to the conclusion!!!

I can't right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am broken!!!!!!!!

Amazing!!!!!!

I finally managed to get my feelings on check to write this review. I seriously had to think long and hard to come up with words that would do justice to this book. I am still in shock. I am still broken. Probably will be until I get book 3. FYI, I need book 3 so K.A. Linde, you better hurry up. I am in pins and needles. I came up with all kinds of scenarios to justify the ending of Blood Match but I just cannot. K.A. Linde, you are one cruel lady but still a genius. Your ability to write a refreshing continuation to a highly charged and action packed paranormal romance is astounding. I love paranormal romances but Blood Match definitely cemented why I love them. The sizzling scenes. The escapism. The danger. The unforgettable and luscious characters. Blood Match COMPELLED my mind, REJUVENATED my soul and FED my heart. Blood Match is a devastatingly beautiful paranormal romance that will leave you tongue tied. I am still trying to pick up the remains of my heart from the floor.

Blood Match is the second book in the Blood Type series and picks off where we left in Blood Type. New alliances are formed. New characters are introduced, Survival is the new game. I am not going to lie but Blood Match killed me. Every page sunk me in so deep. Every sentence was deadly to my inhibitions. I was wretched. I was ruined. I was turned upside down. Wicked. Fiery. Dangerous. Sublime. Exciting. Blood Match was a brilliant and high paced paranormal romance with a blazing plot that captivated me. Blood Match was a story of paranormal love. It was a story of survival. It was a story of a battle between good and evil. Man, I indulged this story. I inhaled this story. I ate up this story. Blood Match caused an inferno in my soul. Blood Match opened a big hole inside me. K.A, Linde, you are incredible. Your writing is unique. Who knew a paranormal romance written by you could touch me like this. K.A. Linde's words just pull you in. She just makes you escape with an epic and different vampire tale. Blood Match was a well written book filled with angst, twisted secrets, intensity and a breathtaking romance that will ache you.

I love Reyna and Beckham. I am so head over in heels in love with them as their relationship develops. I freaking adore their chemistry. It is heavy. It is sexy. It is smoking. It is intense. And boy, did it make me quiver. Reyna and Beckham as always just bring sexiness and life to the story. Reyna is freaking amazing. She is a spitfire. In this book, she goes through a lot that can damage one's soul but she comes back ready to fight and protect. Like always, she is impulsive and gets in trouble. K.A. Linde made me lust for a vampire. Hard. I lust for Beckham. He is strong. He is powerful. He is broody and violent. I just want a piece of Beckham all night long. Is that okay to ask because I am just addicted to him. To his protectiveness and possessiveness over Reyna. To his vampire nature that makes me hot. Beckham definitely makes my ovaries sing to his tune lol.

K.A. Linde, I need book 3 like yesterday. I am coming with all kinds of scenarios and theories. I will not rest until I have book 3 in my kindle.

Blood Match
5 Soul Mates … aren’t always forever stars
.. seriously..
I read book 1.. and was like

I seriously cant believe this author went PRN and ACED IT!!! Omg!!

This book takes up at the end of book one Reyna and her new normal. I don’t want to mention it in case you haven’t read book 1 ( you must read the series in order FYI)
Reyna is subjected to emotional and physical trauma for 18 days and finds Jodie in the mix of the torture. The two bond together as any two people would given the circumstances. The heartbreaking hope she has in Becks.. the heartbreaking destruction caused by Becks…

The world is collapsing around Reyna…
description

the book ends.. and I am so devastated heartbroken

This book may have its flaws but the addiction quality I had while reading it was amazing. I cried so hard I opened book 3 immediately and cried through the first few chapters before I realized I was way to emotional and needed a day off … please author.. don’t end this series.

Just like Blood Type, Blood Match starts pretty slowly and takes place at Visage, where Reyna is being held against her will. It wasn't until the 50% point that things started to pick up. But I urge you to stick with it, because it really is worth the wait.

Beckham and Reyna were so hot together and if I'm honest I would have loved more interaction between them. When they were together you could just feel the passion. I just wanted more of that. The parts where they weren't together did seem to drag a little for me sadly but I think that was more down to the fact that I just loved the Beckham and Reyna scenes so much.

Reyna was way more stronger than she was in the first book. I really loved the way her character has now grown and she's become pretty badass, which I didn't think was possible.

Despite my issues with the pace of the book to begin with, I couldn't help be blown away by the end and I'm only hoping KA Linde doesn't leave us waiting too long for the third and what I assume will be the final book in this series.

I need the next book!!!!
K.A. Linde never fails to keep me invested in a story.
There were times I felt the story was very Twilight-ish or unoriginal in some ways (which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I unconsciously made comparisons). I will say though, that I really do like reading Beckham Anderson's character. He is strong and intelligent. He is vulnerable and ambitious. I also enjoy that although he is a vampire, Linde manages to maintain his humanity without compromising the very essence of his vampirism.
I am enjoying the conspiracy and soft thriller aspect of this story. There is a lot going on and you need to pay attention, so definitely don't read this when you are close to falling asleep lol.
At times the story lagged or seemed repetitive but you couldn't necessarily skim through as you might miss a point in the drama parts of the story over skipping through some of the romance or human nature parts of the story.
Much like any and all K.A. Linde books, I love the female characters in this series. Including the antiheroines (antagonists). They are strong willed, the give the men and all others a run for their money all while being glamorous.
If you thought the ending of book one was a WTF moment, I'm not sure you'll survive this ending. It's so classic Linde and you know she's a sorrtnotsorry kind of gal lol.
This is a worthwhile series.

There are so many reasons why i keep coming back to K.A. Linde's books - at first it was because of her Wright Brothers series and then when she wrote the Wright sister story that tore my heart into so many pieces that i wasn't sure just how she'd manage to put it back together. But put it back together she did. Then she came out with her Vampire series - the Blood series that have kept me awake more nights than i'd care to admit.

This series is everything that i love about paranormal romances. It's entertaining. It's new. It's a story that kept me at the edge of my seat. But most of all, it also had me coming back more than once, forgoing on sleep when i knew i desperately needed it. It also had suspenseful aspects that kept me guessing more than once on what would happen next.

I wish i could say you can just pick this book up and go on your merry way - but regretfully, i have to inform others that you have to read the previous book just so that you can understand what makes Reyna so special and wanted by more than one vampire. By reading the first book, you get to really understand why Beckham and Reyna are so drawn to one another, how they manage to make each other better. But most of all, you get a full picture of them as a couple.

There's just something about this series that keeps me coming back for more. It's unlike any of the previous vampire themed novels i've read (and i've read more than i can count), and it gives you just enough twists to make your jaw slack in surprise. i loved this book, i love the series so far, and i can't wait to find out just what'll happen in the next instalment because this series is that fascinating.
