An omega without options. Three devilishly hot alphas hellbent on proving her wrong.
Mercedes doesn’t trust alphas. Growing up as an orphaned omega at Solus Academy, the only thing she’s used to is keeping her head down and biding her time. Alphas are trouble—she learned this young, thanks to a certain alpha with a sour scent who put his claim on her when they were children.
But now Mercedes is nearing her twenty-first birthday, and her first heat is on the horizon. She’ll do anything to escape her fate, so she sneaks into an omega matching ceremony with the singular goal of finding a pack of alphas who can keep her safe while she figures everything out.
Falling in love is out of the question. The only thing she wants is freedom.
But then she meets the sweet and earnest Nic, who puts in an offer for her from pack Alabaster, and things quickly change. Warren, the resident pack psycho, is cold at first… but before too long, things turn hot. So hot that it’s easy for her to ignore the way the pack leader, Darius, acts like he can’t even be in the same room as her.
Giving this pack her heart isn’t on her list of things to do, but as the days go on and her heat nears, her resolve weakens. Maybe a future with pack Alabaster wouldn’t be so bad.
When the sleazy alpha she’s running from finds her, she’s faced with the truth.
I absolutely ate this up. I absolutely love omegaverse stories and when I saw Candace was publishing one under this new pennine, I lost it in excitement.
This had it all! Possessive, grumpy alphaholes we eventually love, sweet and tender moments, an omega that just wanted to be safe and free. I absolutely loved watching Mercedes fall for the guys (despite not wanting to).
This had the right amount of action and drama. I loved seeing the unhinged guys in action, too!
I cannot wait for more in this series - I've got my eyes on a few side characters that I hope we get to see in the spotlight.
I found this series from a group on FB where the author was announcing book 2's release and I decided to read book 1 first. I'm so glad I did! This story was sweet, engaging, and suspenseful with a good dash of spice.
Knot Their Darling is a spicy RH Omega verse book that focuses on Mercedes, an orphaned Omega who wants 1 thing, freedom. She sneaks into an Omega matching event to escape a situation that she was going to be forced in to as someone with little to no rights. She meets several men from the Alabaster pack, who seem to be able to give her what she's looking for. While this seams to be her best option, she soon realizes that what waits for her in this new life is a hostile Alpha, traumatic backgrounds, and a past that she cannot escape. With her heat quickly approaching, she needs to make some tough decisions and face her fears, both literally and figuratively.
I really enjoyed this story, although the build up to the big events took a while. I enjoyed the character development, and the story definitely kept me interested. I'm looking forward to other stories in this series and seeing where the author takes the characters.
Mercedes is an orphan growing up in essentially a horrible group home for omegas. She escapes one night to attend a local matching ball of sorts, hoping to find a pack that's nice enough to just help her escape. Her plan is to leave town, leaving the alpha who has been terrorizing her for years. Of course the Alabaster pack comes along and her plans get derailed.
This is a classic, "he-falls-first" (well, 2 of the 3 in the pack) while the omega is scared and unsure of what to do. It was a quick read, kind of predictable but still enjoyable. The ending hints and the next book and although I wasn't IN LOVE with this one, I still want to see what happens in the next with Pax and Raeka!
Really lovely book. We meet Mercedes as she's sneaking out of her academy and attempting to attend an Omega event to meet Alpha packs. The first few packs she meets don't interest her until she meets Nic and Warren from pack Alabaster. We then follow Mercedes and Alabaster's attempts to get to know each other and for Mercedes to decide if she wants to stay with the Pack or disappear to escape from someone who wants to bond her against her wishes.
I'd love a follow up book with Raeka and Pax as the main characters. The dynamic between them could be very interesting.
This was a new author to me, I think I saw a rec on a fb group, but that became an instant follow. Sucked in from the start, I had such a busy week but I was sneaking bits every omens I could. The characters had depth, the plot was interesting and the spice was well inserted. I would label it more of a slow burn, which usually isn't my jam. But in this case it worked due to Mercedes background. You go from want to punch her alphas, to being absolutely obsessed. Excellent story, and I already have a ship in my head for who I want the next couple to be! May the stalking commence.
So I enjoyed this book, Was fast paced but it was ok. Although I did feel like I wanted a little more details in certain parts like when Darius and pack stormed in the house to rescue Mercedes, I would have liked to know how was there interaction when they came face to face with Jay. We know there was some fighting but it was passed over. I would have liked more details about an Uber Alpha we know the dominance is way stronger than alphas but that’s all I got. Also more about his brother Pax we know he’s his brother they work together and he acts like Darius. Anyway good book.
I absolutely adored this book! I am not an omegaverse reader at all but I am here for anything Candace writes no matter the genre, or the pen name, heck at this point I’d read an entire novel of her explaining the color pink if she wrote it. I can count on one hand the omega verse books I’ve read, and two of them are by her. This is the first one I’ve given five stars to. I loved everything about it.
🐺Omegaverse (no shifting) 💀Orphan FMC ❤️Fated Mates
1. The character development wasn’t there the character consistency wasn’t there, especially with the FMC.
2. The FMC would literally make the guys feel bad and keep bringing up that they don’t want her there, but then her whole thing has been. I don’t wanna be here so either you wanna be there or not but if you give off vibes that you don’t wanna be there people are not gonna want you there.
I really enjoyed this omegaverse book. It’s a lot of the same story of omega trying to find her way in a world of alphas but the storyline was very interesting, just enough intrigue and the omega didn’t completely tick me off withholding info longer than she should. I will be reading more books by this author.
If you are looking for a good book you won't be able to put down with a FMC who will steal your heart from the beginning and a grumpy reluctant alpha who tries to deny his feelings, a hopeful alpha who wants to find love, and a slightly crazy alpha with major golden retriever vibes this is the love story for you. 🌶🌶🌶/5
This book is fast paced, interesting, engaging and fun. I felt like there was something missing but I couldn’t honestly tell you exactly what? I feel some things were drawn out while others were skipped past but I still enjoyed the book and want to read more from this author 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Meh. The first 3 chapters, all the FMC talked about was that other omegas have this, I'm not like them, I'm so brave, blah blah. And then she bolted the moment she found a compatible Alpha. Already lost interest by chapter four.
Uhmm... I... *Frown in concentration* it was... I have so many mixed feelings, like I liked the book but at the same time it was super boring, and there were parts or situations that were just plain stupid... Did I like it? Yes... Did I not like it? Yes...
This is definitely a type of OV story I am familiar with just with some unique components that make it its own story. If you’ve read a lot of OV then this plot will be easy to follow and enjoyable.
I give a book a 3.75 have to say that I wish that the author went more into depth with each character. I felt like it was kind of surface level, but the storyline was pretty good for the most part, and I will definitely read the next book in the series.
So good, Mercedes is a great fmc that's for sure a good mix of brave and self doubt I loved each and every one of the mmc, nic the sweetest for sure, Darius all daddy vibes, but warren.. I love the crazy ones
This is just an sweet omegaverse novel. Very low drama. Each guy had their moments and the spice was like paprika. I would definitely count it as a slowish burn but the tension built. I was hoping for more "dark" but definitely count it as sweet.
Good story. I love her spunk and attitude. She knows what she wants and does what she can to an achieve it. The guys are great. There’s always one grumpy one that fights the inevitable.
I love this book!!! Can not wait to read some of these other characters! Anxiously awaiting these other books, just love omegaverse with lots of love & heavy ALPHA vibes!!! Happy reading & definitely recommend reading
I love it when you get a book that keeps it interesting. Has its own kind of uniqueness and some very entertaining plots, contents and characters 😜 Highly recommend.
Well, this was a really good read. I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters for the most part. Couldn’t quite connect with Darius. Still a very good read.
This needed polish (the pacing was a little uneven and some parts were drawn out) but I still enjoyed it! It scratched the “who did this to you?” itch.
♡Knot Their Darling was such a fun omegaverse escape! The story is fast, flirty, and full of heat, with characters that made me smile and swoon all at once. Candy Marie gave just the right mix of spice and sweetness—I couldn’t stop turning the pages.♡
