For 28 years, I kept my stories to myself, using them as a way to navigate life’s challenges and moments of hope. Writing has always been my passion—a way to dive into the raw, unfiltered truths most people can’t bear to face. Now, I’m sharing those stories with the world.

My words are not for the faint of heart. They delve deep into the human experience, exploring the darkness we often shy away from and the resilience it takes to rise above it. Every story I write comes with a trigger warning advisory, because these are tales that confront pain, loss, and the harsh realities of life head-on. But they also reveal the strength, hope, and transformation that can emerge from the depths of despair.

Inspired by real-life experiences and blended with dark fiction, my stories are emotional and gripping, shining a light on themes like resilience, redemption, and the complexities of human nature. Each word is a reflection of the truths I’ve encountered and the imagination that shapes them.

If you’re ready to journey through the darkest corners of the human soul and discover the light that can emerge, my stories are for you. Welcome to my world—a place where fiction feels real, and every word leaves a lasting impact.

I look forward to connecting with you—as an avid reader, writer, and fitness enthusiast—to share stories, inspiration, and a passion for growth and transformation.

Broken by Tina S. Transformation
Rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 💫
3.5 stars (rounded up.)

Be sure to check the trigger warnings before reading. There is on page DV and although it isn’t graphically detailed, there is implied SA as well as other potential triggers.

This is the only book I’ve read by Tina, I stumbled across her author page on Instagram and was drawn in by the synopsis of her new novel. I am a DV survivor and I love to read a good survivor/triumph story.

The FMC, Annabelle is written as a pretty typical DV woman. She is very good at keeping up appearances, reading her partners behavior patterns and is meek and subservient. There are moments in this book where I can feel Annabelle’s panic and I can feel the tension elevating. These parts are written very well. The MMC, Donte is a real POS but there isn’t a ton of focus on him and there didn’t need to be. This is Annabelle’s story after all.

I’m a stickler for the details and there are things within this story that don’t make much sense to me. I don’t want to leave any spoilers so I won’t get into them too much but these details made some things unrealistic for me. (Such as the way Donte never questioned where Evie went and how Mark and Nadine are inserted into the plot.)

Overall I enjoyed the read, there is some really good writing in this novel. I just wish the plot points and attempted twists were more detailed and cohesive with the story.

Thank you to Tina S. Transformation for the advanced reader copy.

A tense, emotional story of a woman enduring years of abuse. The descriptive style made this book come to life and I could feel every moment of Annabella’s pain and fear. I didn’t see the twist coming and will be reading more from this author in the future.

Characters were well developed, Annabella especially, the trauma was done in a delicate way, making it an easy read.

The ending was unexpected and described in a way that had painted a great picture of the situation

Wow. Such a gripping story of survival and the will to go on. This story had me needing that next chapter like nobody’s business. I feel like the characters developed extremely well. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Amazing story. I would definitely recommend checking triggers if need be.

In "Broken," author Tina S Transformation guides readers through an emotional, gut-wrenching narrative focused on Anabella's turbulent life. Anabella seems to have everything: intelligence, beauty, and an ostensibly perfect marriage with Dante. Yet beneath the surface lurks Dante's controlling and manipulative nature, slowly alienating Anabella from her reality. As the layers of coercion unfold, readers become immersed in her battle for sanity and self-discovery.

"Broken" is not for the faint-hearted. It's a deeply emotional book that leaves you questioning the nature of relationships, control, and self-worth. Dante, as a character, infuriates with how little he values truth, soaking in appearances instead. His gaslighting and manipulative ways brought back memories of people I’ve known, making it intensely relatable and frustrating. He juggles facades, portraying the perfect husband while isolating Anabella with subtle control.

Anabella, in contrast, embodies resilience, trying to navigate the maze of emotionally draining circumstances. She thrives beneath Rae Willows' narration, which embodies the essence of Anabella's character perfectly. Willows brings authenticity and depth, enhancing the vivid picture of Anabella’s strength and vulnerability alike. The audiobook experience heightened my connection to the character's mental battles thanks to the immersive voice acting.

The Vibes It Brings:
🎭 Psychological Drama
🌀 Emotional Turmoil
❌ Deception
💼 High Society
🕵️‍♂️ Mystery

Rae Willows' contribution to "Broken" is invaluable. Her voice captures not just the essence of Anabella but subtly shifts to reflect the underlying emotions as the plot progresses. The varied inflections and the seamless capture of characters’ emotions make the audiobook a standout. Willows doesn’t just read the book; she brings it to life, making characters like Dante and Anabella more tangible. Her engaging performance guides the listener through complex emotional landscapes with grace.

As I closed the final chapter of "Broken," I felt a whirlwind of emotions: anger, empathy, and a strong call for reflection. The storyline’s honesty is haunting but necessary for anyone who’s ever felt trapped or unseen in a relationship. Tina S Transformation's ability to portray such raw, relatable experiences without resorting to clichés is noteworthy. Anabella's journey isn't just about survival; it resonates with a powerful message of rediscovery and empowerment, all brilliantly narrated by Rae Willows.

"Broken" isn't merely a book about a woman overcoming adversity; it's a compelling reminder of the strength we often overlook within ourselves. Every turn of the page reveals new layers of vulnerability and resilience, leaving readers to ponder on true courage.

“Broken" by Tina S. Transformation is a masterpiece of survival and emotion. From the moment I picked up Broken, I was hooked. This book is a true masterpiece—one that resonated with me on a deep, emotional level. The way Tina S. Transformation weaves her characters’ struggles and triumphs is nothing short of brilliant. I couldn’t put it down; the story grabbed me and didn’t let go until the very last page.
What makes Broken so powerful is the emotional connection to the characters. I felt like I was right there with them, experiencing every painful, raw moment of their journey. Their struggles became my struggles, their hopes, my hopes. It’s a story of survival—not just physical survival, but emotional survival—and it felt so real that at times, I had to remind myself it was just a book.
Tina S. Transformation has a gift for creating characters who feel alive and authentic. This is a book that will stay with you long after you finish reading. If you’re looking for a suspenseful thriller that tugs at your heart and leaves you thinking long after the final chapter, Broken is an absolute must-read.

Don’t ever judge a person by the way they dress & present themselves until you live a day in their shoes. You never truly know a battle someone is facing. Or how broken they are. This story is dark, deep, scary & can hit home. It’s full of trauma, hurt, emotions & survival. It grips you from the first page. It’ll have you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next. I would’ve loved to jump into the pages & give it all I had to her husband! He did not deserve this woman in any way shape or form! It can truly hit you where it hurts. My heart was with Annabella thru every page. I truly loved that Annabella loves to read. I love that she was writing a book & it told her story & as well as others. This story had such an impact on me & the plot of this story truly packs a punch! The characters were well written & real. I wasn’t expecting the ending, but it was everything! This is a must read, but please read trigger warnings. Impossible to put down! Well done Tina!

“Broken” by Tina S. Transformation is an emotional rollercoaster that had me completely captivated from the very first page. This book shattered me in ways I didn’t expect, I cried so many times for Annabella, feeling every ounce of her pain, her struggle, and the pieces of herself that her marriage slowly stole away. The weight of her endurance was intense , and her will to survive kept me glued to the story, unable to put it down. Dante’s coldness was terrifying; every time his name appeared on the page, I felt a chill of dread, as if I were right there with Annabella. The depth of emotion in this book is incredible, you don’t just read it, you feel it. And that ending? It couldn’t have been written any better. Every character’s emotions were so raw, so real, pulling me deeper into Annabella’s world. This wasn’t just a story; it was an experience. An easy five-star read, absolutely unforgettable.

Broken
by Tina S Transformation
Release date: March 2nd

From the outside, Annabella has it all—a wealthy, handsome husband, a stunning penthouse, and a life most people would envy. But behind closed doors, her reality is far from perfect. Trapped in a cycle of mental, verbal, and physical abuse, she lives in constant fear, her luxury a mere illusion of happiness.

This book grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go. The short, punchy chapters make it impossible to put down, pulling you deeper into Annabella’s world with every turn of the page. The writing is vivid—you can practically feel the cold luxury of the penthouse, the suffocating weight of Donte’s control, and the desperate hope for escape. The characters are so well-developed they feel real, making Annabella’s journey all the more gripping.

Broken is a raw, emotional ride about survival when it feels impossible. It’s intense, heartbreaking, and utterly unputdownable. Highly recommend!

Broken by Tina S. Transformation

This book was a true page turner that had me hooked from the very first chapter! The FMC’s story is raw, heartbreaking, and unfortunately realistic. She endures an incredible amount of trauma and abuse, which makes the book powerful, but it definitely could be triggering for some readers so make sure to read the TW!

Despite the heavy subject matter, Tina S. Transformation did an amazing job developing these characters. I honestly didn’t see the twist coming, but I loved how it tied everything together.

If you enjoy stories of survival, healing, and unexpected turns, Broken is absolutely worth the read!

Damn. Another gut-wrenching read from this author. I don't know if my poor little heart can take it. How much abuse can one person take? The deception and fear that is a part of the FMC's life is traumatic. You feel everything she is and has gone through. You gain and lose confidence right along with her. An incredible listen. The storyline, the information provided, and the depth of feeling you get from the narrator make this an outstanding read. I would highly recommend it.

I think this was a great story of justice! Maybe I should just call it karma. After suffering at the hands of a terrible man, his victims finally gave him what he had coming!

I love this story! It was hard to read at times because there are women who have to live this nightmare life. Unfortunately, it's usually the women who don't survive the relationship. It was nice to see these women take their lives back.

Annabella and her marriage look perfect from the outside. But the inside is rotten.
Reading the TW is important.

As someone who had also had the same thoughts of “if only he didn’t come home/got into an accident” I felt this so deep.

I don’t even know what to say without spoiling anything.
The chapter from Donte’s perspective was unexpected but helped paint the picture unexpectedly.

I’ll just say the ending was well done.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to ARC read this novella

This book was AMAZING. It takes you through the journey of someone experiencing DV and how they navigated it. Annabelle’s story broke my heart with how she was treated by Donte. He was not a good character at all. The ending was so twisted and I didn’t expect it to happen the way it did. I am glad Annabelle was able to get the ending she did but this book broke me and took me through all the emotions.

My jaw is on the floor Tina S Transformation! I have NEVER hated a character soooooo much! I don't want to give anything away but at one point I messaged Tina and had to vent and get some thoughts out.

How far would you go to escape the person who is supposed to take care of you and love you most? How much would you endure before enough was enough? The suspense kept me enthralled throughout this entire book.

Series of events

I absolutely enjoyed this book. This is a story about a marriage full of violence and control. The husband controlling every detail of his wife's life from money, to what food to eat and what to wear. The abuse she suffers along the way and her fight to survive to try and get out. The series of events to follow was definitely unexpected. If you dont have any triggers I highly recommend this book.

I recommend this book to all the women out there that have been in abusive relationships. Severe or not as severe. It don't matter. Present or in the past. It doesn't matter. What matters in this book, is it takes you to the depths of darkness and pain that some have seen and deals with it in a manner that might help you heal. Highly recommended to all you lovely, respected, beautiful women.

Review for Tina S Transformation: Broken
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 out of 5 stars)

Tina S Transformation: Broken is an exceptionally well-written and compelling piece of work. The author's consistent use of a first-person narrative throughout the novel allows for a deeply engaging and adaptive storyline. By allowing the main character to narrate events using pronouns such as "I," "me," and "myself," the author successfully draws readers directly into the emotional and psychological landscape of the story, creating an immersive experience that enhances both connection and empathy with the characters.

The character development is another notable strength of this novel. The characters are relatable, authentic, and thoughtfully crafted. In particular, Dante stood out as a strong, memorable figure whose presence enriched the narrative. Each character feels realistic and fully formed, contributing meaningfully to the forward momentum of the plot.

Regarding formatting and layout, the author demonstrates a clear understanding of professional manuscript standards. The eBook exhibits impeccable formatting, with proper line spacing, consistent paragraph structure, and clean indentations. The line spacing is appropriate for fiction, allowing for ease of reading without unnecessary gaps or clutter. The structure of each section flows naturally, guiding the reader’s eye seamlessly from paragraph to paragraph and maintaining strong visual organization throughout.

Overall, Tina S Transformation: Broken is a polished, dynamic, and emotionally resonant novel. It reflects not only a strong storytelling ability but also a mastery of manuscript preparation and formatting—key elements in ensuring an enjoyable reading experience. I have downloaded this eBook to my digital bookshelf and will gladly revisit it again in the future. It is a five-star work, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author.

📖 Just finished Broken by Tina S. Transformation and had to rate it using my thriller scale. This one pulls no punches. Here's how it scored:

⭐ Edge Factor – ★★★★★
Gripping from the jump. The tension ratchets up with each chapter, like a noose tightening.

🌀 Twist Execution – ★★★★★
It lulls you, then flips everything. Twice. Twists that earn their place without feeling cheap.

✍️ Voice & Style – ★★★★★
Sharp, confident prose. The kind that knows exactly when to hold back and when to cut deep.

👤 Villain Vibes – ★★★★☆
Dark, complex, and chilling. The kind of antagonist you might pass on the street and never know.

💔 Character Depth – ★★★★★
These aren’t just players in a plot—they’re people. Damaged, dangerous, and disturbingly relatable.

🌆 Atmosphere & Setting – ★★★★☆
Claustrophobic in the best way. The kind of world you fall into and don’t climb out of clean.

🧠 Emotional Hit – ★★★★★
That line—“Annabelle survived the fists. Survived the silence.”—hit like a sledgehammer. This book doesn’t just entertain. It bruises.

🧮 Final Score: 4.86 → ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🏁 Final Verdict: 5 stars.

Broken is brutal, brilliant, and deeply human. A psychological gut punch wrapped in razor wire. I couldn’t look away—and I didn’t want to. If you're into thrillers that burn slow and hit hard, this one’s waiting for you.

Fascinating book about a domestic violence survivor, Annabella who is married to a horrible controlling man, Donte. The author does a great job of describing Annabella’s situation and fears and I was able to put myself in her shoes. I could feel the raw emotional trauma and the deathly fear she felt through the author’s words. I was gripped from the first page and read this book in one morning as I simply couldn’t put it down! I felt such love for Annabella and was cheering for her escape and survival. I also was pleasantly surprised by the character of Veronica and although we don’t see too much of her character in depth, she added a nice surprise to the story.

The chapters flowed quickly and the writing was suspenseful so that I couldn’t stop turning the pages. The author did a nice job of addressing domestic violence and survival without it becoming too unreadable and made sure to leave an ounce of hope in the story, despite the heavy subject matter. This is my first book by this author. A 5 star read

PLEASE check your trigger warnings before you read this book!!!

I honestly don’t even know how to put this book into words! This book was RAW, REAL and emotional. This story is dark and deep, filled with trauma. I couldn’t put it down. The moment we got into the story with Annabella and Donte I was HOOKED. I was SAT.. I truly felt connected to Annabelle. I felt her pain in the words that were written, and cried for her. My heart was hurting for her. Honestly so real and raw. Donte’s chapter really sunk in and helped paint that picture even more vividly. Sickening feeling. The plot packs such a heavy punch!! I had to keep reading to find out what was happening…
This book isn’t just one you read and place on your nice organized shelf and forget about. This book with STAY with you for the rest of your life.

All I have to say is thank you Tina for sending me an ARC to review. I truly appreciate it. All opinions are my own and voluntary!

This story hurt my heart. It is very emotional. Annabelle lives the perfect life on the outside. Everyone compliments her beauty, her style, her body, how lucky she is to have the life that she has. No one knows what happens behind the closed doors of her home. The abuse she endures. The mental trauma of living with someone who is a perfectionist and how them finding one thing slightly off can trigger a barrage of abuse, physical and emotional. This was very well written. The characters are very detailed and have so much depth and personality to them. I couldn't stop reading because I needed to know how it ended for Annabelle and Donte. The ending as so unexpected. I didn't see the twist coming at all. I highly recommend giving this a read. But please check the trigger warnings first.

Check your trigger warnings before reading!

Broken is a powerful tale of survival and redemption that resonates deeply. the FMC, Annabella, seems to lead the perfect life, or so the world believes, but behind the facade, her husband Donte is her abuser, mercilessly controlling every aspect of her existence. What makes this novel particularly haunting is the unfortunate truth that, despite being a work of fiction, these horrors unfold every day for countless men and women around the globe. I found myself gripped by the intensity of the story, experiencing the palpable fear that enveloped Annabella. Donte's cold, calculating demeanor instilled dread, leaving me apprehensive about what might happen next. While there are certain elements of the story that I yearned for more background on and a few plot points that felt unclear (though I won't spoil anything), this book is undeniably a solid read. If you're in search of a novel that lingers in your mind and keeps your heart racing, Broken delivers just that.

Broken by Tina S. Transformation is an emotional rollercoaster that pulls you in from the very first page and doesn’t let go. Behind the façade of a perfect life lies a chilling reality, and this story captures that contrast with haunting beauty. It’s not just about fear—it’s about strength, survival, and the courage to choose freedom, even when the cost is high.

Tina’s writing is powerful and immersive. Every word feels intentional, every scene tense and real. This isn’t a fairytale—it’s a brutally honest look at what it means to live in fear and find the strength to break free.

Heart-wrenching, honest, and beautifully written. A must-read for anyone who’s ever questioned how far they’d go to protect their truth.

Wow!! This is an excellent and intense domestic thriller.
Annabelle has a tough life with her husband Dante. On the outside, they look like a perfect and amazing couple, but behind closed doors, it’s not so perfect.
What Annabel has to go through isn’t easy and she has to be strong to break free from her husband and the abuse.
This story is emotional, traumatic and has a deep plot.
It’s a quick read and I really enjoy how the author tells a thorough and descriptive story. I couldn’t stop reading!

I listened to the audio version and the narrator did an excellent job!
I can’t wait to read more from this author!

*A beautiful must read book!*
