BREN
We’d been childhood friends until suddenly we weren’t.
For years I’d loved him from the sidelines.
When I had my chance, I took it.
Hoping that it was my time to be seen by him, to be loved by him, to be wanted by him. My stupid, stupid, stupid heart.
He hurt me, and then I hurt him.
I thought he’d never speak to me again when he found out what I’d kept from him.
I should have had faith in him, in the man I knew he could be if only he’d let go of his past.
We’d been friends once, and we would be again.
Maybe in time, we’d be able to heal each other enough to be more.
Only time would tell.
Two Crows fighting their past to find their happiness!

This is the first book in the 2nd Generation of Crow MC. For full enjoyment and understanding, you may want to read Reaper first. This book is intended for mature readers 18 years and older. It includes sexual situations, strong language, and a little violence.

Born and brought up in Mazabuka, Zambia. I love all genre's but I'm partial to Shifter, Paranormal and MC.
I'm a Virtual Assistant by day and a wordsmith by night.
I like coffee and cake, sleeping in and lazy weekends unless my husband drags me to a rock concert.
My husband is my inspiration for all my male characters and why I'm a believer in love at first sight. We have been together for 29 years.
I'm a big believer in family not always being blood but the people you bring into your life and that people come and go in your life as they are needed.

I can never get enough of the Crow family. I love the inclusion of the originals.
The Next Generation are looking to get better and better with every story.

Bren’s had it bad for Alec for years. After a night of passion that all goes wrong.
How Alec steps up to be the man Bren has always wanted, has you cheering from the sidelines.
Bren is so family oriented, she looks after those she loves without a second thought.

Right through out you can feel the love, loyalty, & trust are on every page you read. Another winner for Michelle Dups.

Bren

Bren and Alec have loved each other forever, but both had horrible childhoods, until they found the Crows. Alec still felt he was tainted by his biological dad's blood and it held him back. He messed up with Bren because of this.
Secrets are kept from him as Bren moves on, convinced he doesn't care, and he's blamed for these as well. He's confused why family and friends treat him differently now. When it all comes out, will he be the man he should be? A Crow kind of man?
Loved it, and I don't think he was so bad. Just a confused young man. Great book! The girls had mad survival skills, that was awesome. 10 stars

OUTSTANDING!!!!

Full confession, I have had this one downloaded in my Kindle for a little while but kept putting off reading it. I love the OG so much and to now have a 2nd gen with kids I absolutely loved was exciting. When I saw the 1st one was going to be Bren, I was a little scared to read it because I had a feeling my heart was going to break a little bit or a lot. I had to wait until I was ready.
Oh my goodness gracious! I’m so glad I read this with the right mindset to fully enjoy it. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to smack some characters (I’m looking at you Alec) a few times and cheered them on the whole way.
This book was everything I hope for when it comes to a 2nd gen continuation of a beloved series. We get to visit with the OG crew and see how their amazing kids are doing.
I LOVED everything about it!!!!!

Michelle has created another fantastic book. I absolutely loved Bren and Alec's story. There was heartache, laughter and love all rolled into one amazing book. Bren is such a strong amazing woman and she shines so much in the book. Alex was a bit of a twat but he really did redeem himself and came through to be a fantastic dad and he really matured a lot throughout the story. It was great seeing all the older generation too. Congratulations on another fantastic book.

An emotional roller-coaster but I loved it.

Just binge read this and loved it - as I have all Michelle Dups work I've read so far.
This one made me mad, I even shouted "IDIOT" (in my head as it's was after 10.00pm) a few times at the mmc, it also made me smile, laugh and tear up at times.
Thanks Michelle Dups for the roller-coaster of emotions and a great read. I can't wait for the next installment.

Worth The Wait

This is the first story in the Second Generation of Crows series. A long-awaited , deserving HEA for both of them after some tough struggles and heartache Alec and Bren's story is a wild ride, full of intensity, sweetness, and beauty. Alec's got a lot to make up for, and it's satisfying to see him grovel. This book is so full of so many emotions—terror, pain, friendships, sacrifices, surprise revelations, and so much more. This story is incredibly intense, with so many complex issues at play. Will everything ultimately work out? You'll have to read it to find out. I can't wait for Sam's story next.

3.75 stars. A little more OW drama than usual with this one but the H’s redemption arc was well done. The conflict made the resolution more satisfying. I always feel with this author, that whatever weeds the characters are in, when they get out of them, I will be convinced they should be together. That’s not always the case with a lot of authors in this genre.

Bren

Great read. I absolutely loved Alec and Bren’s story ❤️❤️❤️ it’s exciting to read about the club kids all grown up. Alec was always the woman chaser, living the single life, thinking he wasn’t good enough for Bren, while she wished he’d notice her. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Love This New Series

I absolutely love the Crow MC and knew I would love the 2nd generation stories as much as the first. Bren has always loved Alec. I remember when Alec hung out at the garage before he became part of the Crow family. I didn’t realize his feeling of inadequacy ran so deep. These two have a huge uphill battle but overcame their challenges. I love the 1st generation involvement in the story. Cannot wait for book 2.

Bren & Alex

These two have danced around each other forever. Alex being a man ho doesn't remember his night with Bren then treats her like a ho. Now he's got a lot of groveling to do if he wants to be in her life and the life of a special little someone. I loved seeing them open up and share their feelings with each other and seeing them grow as individuals. I couldn't be happier for them and the life they built together.

Alec and Bren

Bren is an absolute sweetheart 💖 and has a beautiful soul, and she's so protective of her siblings 💗.
Alec is your typical man that 🙄 doesn't have a clue about certain things in life 🙄. He finally gets his head out of his arse.
I enjoyed seeing how Bren and her sister Ellie work so well together ❤️, in more ways than one.
Noni and Carly get some credit in this story as well.
Grab your copy and enjoy it because I did !
Happy reading! Highly recommend!

Michell doing what she does best…..giving us stories of family bonds that have only grown stronger during easy and difficult eras. Loved Alec and Bren’s journey. As usual, the women are the heart and the brains of the operation and seeing those third gen kids come into their own is so sweet. Bring on Sam!

Bren and Alec's story is one that will have you screaming at Alec to open his eyes and cheering for Bren and her Badar$e-ness.

Bren is a strong character with soft edges but cross her, and you will find out quickly that she has teeth and is not afraid to take a bite out of someone that threatened what hers.

Alec is a 🔔🔚 but you soon come to love him as he has a big heart when he he thinks with his big head and not his little head.

You will definitely root for this couple.

Fantastic story with great banter, steam, drama, and a whole brotherhood you wish existed.

Another fantastic read.

Great start to the second generation. Boys/men can be blind sometimes. I'm curious how old the First generation been s now though, especially after the epilogue though. There's some danger from Bren and Ellie's business though. There's danger, heat and HEA.

Fantastic book!!

Love Alec and Bren’s story. Lots of heartbreak but in the end it is one of the sweetest and best stories and the beginning of the Crow MC 2nd generation with Bren.

Again it’s different, same characters different settings, no editing errors that stood out. Looking forward to book 2, hopefully as good.

💕

It was a nice read I did however find the book a bit boring. But I think I’m just used to fast passed, dark mc romance books. 🤣

Anyway, I liked Bren and Alec together and their chemistry and friendship was nice to read about.

And I have to say the girl in the cover is gorgeous 😍

Bren has loved Alec probably since they first met, the two are good friends.
When Bren visits Alec whilst he's training with another mc things don't go to plan.
Alec isn't sure what he's done to upset Bren but when he learns his mistake he needs to make amends and fast.
What a great story I loved the characters and the determination of Alec to right his wrong and the fact Bren stayed strong.

Young Love

Bren has loved Alec most of her life. Unfortunately Alec sees her as a little sister. After Alec hurts Bren she takes off her rose tinted glasses. His fight to win her back is heartwarming. Loved it.

I loved it!

Oh my gosh this was such a good book! Alec and Bren will steal your heart as you read their story. There is so much angst in the beginning as they journey toward one another. He hurt her badly and he works to prove himself worthy of her love. There are hot sparks between them that culminate in some wonderfully steamy scenes. There are outside threats that they and the Crow club have to deal with that puts the women in extreme danger.
I honestly loved this story and couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

To slow

This was half way through be anything really happened which was disappointing to me to read. I felt like putting it down and DNFing the book but I stuck it out and got to the end but there was nothing I enjoyed about this book

I absolutely love the Crows saga! I have become intertwined with these families and care about all of them. This is the second generation, and what a fantastic read this is! Alec and Bren have been friends since childhood and she has always loved him. Unfortunately he's been an idiot and they have to go through a lot of heartbreak. But what a great story of love and redemption it is! This is a fantastic story and I absolutely cannot wait for more!

It feels like we have been waiting for this book since early in the first series. I didn't expect things to open as they did. I thought we might seem more of these two dating, instead it seemed like everything was backward, yet it also made sense due to them knowing each other for so long.

I didn't blame Bren for her decision at the start, to not clue Alec in, he let her know very clear where he was. I also thought her letting everyone else know and to leave him alone was good too. If she got him, she wanted him to want her, not feel obligated to be with her.

It was funny when Alec was finally clued in and he knew how much he screwed up and how hard he worked to win Bren over. What I liked about this was at no time did he make an excuse and he took what Bren's male family members had for him.

It was nice to see that things were finally cleared up, they needed that united front as a new threat came for the MC. I loved how the girls took care of business when they had too, but also called in reinforcements, knowing they needed help. Glad this threat was swiftly taken care of and not spread through a few books.
