Texas, 1930 The Dust Bowl was raging and so was the working class. Follow one man’s journey from a petty thief into a hardened criminal.
In the depths of The Depression, a teenager lives a life of petty crime. Then when a robbery turns deadly, he must either face the hangman’s noose or embrace the outlaw life. To what lengths will he go to stay one step ahead of the law?
I enjoyed the book and how it was written. Great for some light reading at the end of the day. The ending was rushed though - it was almost like the author realized that his deadline was there and needed to tie everything together quickly. I wish there were a couple more chapters or a sequel so the author could actually finish the story. Otherwise, I enjoyed this book!
