She is running from her ex. He is dominating and wants to control her in order to get access to her father's wealth and is determined not to let her slip through his fingers. He is willing to drag her back against her will if necessary. She answered an ad for a mail order bride in order to get as far away from him as possible and try to find some peace for herself. When she gets off the bus and sees the 6ft 4" huge hulking brooding mountain man, she isn't sure what she has gotten herself into. He needs a wife on paper to finalize his inheritance of the family land. He just wanted someone to sign the papers and stay out of his way, but it is clear from the beginning that this spunky little beauty is going to rock his world. I enjoyed the story premise and meeting the characters, I felt invested in them and seeing where their relationship would go. They had some sweet moments, and their attraction built to some spicy scenes. He has a dirty mouth that really melts her panties and might make you blush. My biggest complaint are the rough transitions. Sections of the story work, but they don't flow into the next one well which does cause some confusion when trying to figure out what is going on and the sequence of events. There is a little bit of drama, some dirty talking and a happily ever after that will make you smile.

The Hunter's Treasure is a short and steamy, instalove, opposites-attract, age-gap, forced-proximity, damsel in distress, mail order bride, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Palmer is a sassy city girl who has become a mail order bride. Hunter is a hunky, grumpy mountain man who needs to marry to keep his land. One look at Palmer, and he falls head over heels. But why is she running? These two were so perfect together. Hunter didn't know what he was missing until he found his treasure. Their chemistry was hot, and the ending was so happy after a bit of danger and drama. I loved it!!!.

This is a perfect little snack sized read, and I ate it up in one sitting.
The dialog and banter are fun and flirty. The chemistry between palmer and Hudson is obvious from the first page, and everything moves at an extremely fast pace, it's very lust at first sight.
Palmer is sharp as a tack and has a mouth that shows it. She's a fiesty little thing and pairs perfectly with Hudsons rough edges and grumbly attitude. He's very intense, and it shines through in his actions and words.
There's some drama and theatrics, but it all works out in the end.

Palmer needs a safe place to run to so she signs up to be a mail order bride. Hudson needed a wife to keep his land so he put an ad for a mail order bride. Neither was looking for love but they found love when they least expected to. When danger follows Palmer, Hudson goes into protective mode. This is a sweet and steamy, mail order bride romance with likable characters who got their happily ever after. The Hunter's Treasure is book six and a great addition to The Mountain Man's Mail Order Bride series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

At first Hudson needed a wife to keep his land so he got a mail-order bride but he wasn’t going to be in love with her, but going more into the book and he ended up loving her and wanting to get married for real. I love the romance between Hudson and Palmer Lane. And I loved how he protected her and that they got a happy ending together. Hudson needs a wife to keep his land, one that he wants is just for friendship, but his mail-order bride Palmer is a complete fire cracker. From the start the two fight but in a hot and get under your skin way. Palmer is running from her past and at first she fights telling Hudson, but once she does the heat and chemistry is off the charts. What was fake turns real.

The Hunter's Treasure is the sixth installment of the series Mountain Man's Mail-Order Bride written by Aria Cole. So steamy, sweet and exciting, this story really brings it home with heart! the best happily ever after ever! It was so wonderful to see Hudson and Palmer find their forever! I highly recommend this entire series, though the books can be read as standalones.

Hudson wasnt really wanting a marriage but when Palmer stepped off the bus he was falling fast, this mail order marriage was to help keep his land. Palmer was all city girl, but she was running from someone. Once Palmer was safe with Hudson, thier lives became a Treasure. Sweet,Short, and very sexy.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Hudson and Palmer. The story keeps us turning the pages with unexpected connection, secrets, fears, realization and steam.

Hudson wasn’t too keen on this mail order bride scenario, but once Palmer stepped off that bus he was a goner. She was pulling suitcases with her like she was moving her life. Palmer is running from her past. When that past catches up to her, will Hudson be there?
