Good ending to the series.

At last Michael & Adelaide’s story we met them in the previous book, however this book is easily read on its own. I absolutely loved their journey to a HEA, Adelaide is one strong woman who has a goal she is striving to achieve, she’s also slow to trust. Michael has to convince everyone he’s changed & is serious about Adelaide, especially Adelaide. There’s danger, twists & turns, misunderstandings & miscommunications, all of which made this an enthralling read & a lovely finale to the series

I love this series, and yes, they really need to be read in order. This is a continuation of what happen in book 3. Her Honorable Viscount is about Edward and Dot, Michael is his brother. Michael is the second son and as most other young men the spare has little or no duties. So, they take on a life of drinking, gambling and women. Michael knows Edward will also step in and fix whatever mess he ends up in, he always has. Till Edward finds out he has gotten a women pregnant and wants to pay her off! This time big brother tells him he needs to step up and take responsibly as children don’t just go away! Adelaide lived for her dream of owning her own inn, forced to work for her stepbrother as a bar maid for little pay. She knows how to keep the men who come there at bay till Michael. He is a smooth talker, Handson as sin and wears her down. For just one night she decides to let herself feel wanted and some attention. So goes best laid plans as she ends up pregnant. With help from a mid-wife she meets, Dot not knowing she is Michael’s sister-in-law she is given help. She moves into Edwards town house till the baby is due. This book starts from there to present. Michael wants to marry her, and she doesn’t trust a noble after what happen to her mother. She leaves with the baby and Michael is heartbroken. He has come to love both her and the baby and doesn’t know what to do. Her brother, Jack is a nasty, rotten person who uses all for his gain. When he gets her to pass a note for him, she is uneasy about doing so. So, start not only a mystery, intrigue and danger as both Adelaide and Michael are drawn into his mess. Oh, my so many twists and turns, secrets, longing, misunderstanding for our couple. How will it all turn out and what will happen to Adelaide and the baby? Will she let Michael be part of them are keep him at bay? Run, grab a copy and get started you will not be able to put it down. Be sure to read book three first. I received and ARC from the author and wish to thank her. This is my honest opinion and am freely giving it. Really sorry to see this series end. Can’t wait to see what Ellie has in store for us next.

Oh my my my readers. Whew! What a lovely read. What a lovely read this is. I believe that have been spoiled by the author. I have been treated with an exquisite romantic tale and then I was gifted with some desirable moments that’s was so exciting. I was sweating under my collar a little bit. But that’s ok I loved it. The writing was fantastic. The entertainment was great. The characters all were terrific. Adelelaide and Michael are wonderful. When I first read the synopsis I was a little weary of this story would go, but the author pulled it together beautifully. The plot was smashing good. That brother Jack, he tested my nerves at the highest level. I give this book two snaps and a twist. Until next my fellow readers. Read on!

This is my 42nd book by Ellie St. Clair. I picked up 1 book in late 2017, then 2 more in 2018 and then not again until May 2022. She is quickly becoming a favorite. I have really been enjoying this series.

I really liked Michael and Adelaide. I loved this story. I loved that he cared so much. It’s usually the other way around. Their sex scene together at the country house was super hot. I loved that suspense that was added with her brother and Michael’s friend. Just an overall really good read.

This is the fourth and final book in
this series.. And it was an amazing ending.

Adelaide is afraid to give her heart away to a Viscount's brother because of what happened to her mother. However he is one person she can trust to help her out of a dilemma that her brother puts her in and once he steps up to the plate, she realizes that not only is he the perfect father to her child but he makes her feel safe and he is her home.

Michael has been searching for a purpose for a long time now he has found it however that person doesn't trust him because he is apart of the wealthy ton and because of his past.. But he needs her and their daughter more than anything in the world..

I was captivated with this story from the beginning to the end..

With the suspense, the family drama to the happily ever after.. I couldn't get enough of it..

I loved this book and this series!

I can't wait to see what Ellie has in store next.

Sweet ending to this series and can be a standalone. But, has many crossovers characters and you will get more enjoyment if read in order.

Villains some known and another was a surprise. Suspenseful moments, great ending and epilogue.
At times I was frustrated with all the barriers the h made. She could have been a lot happier sooner if she just gave the H a chance. I did understand her being hesitant, but I wish she came to her senses sooner.

No cheating, HEA, lovemaking outside of marriage - heat level 4 out of 5. Ends at 92% on my e-reader. I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. I do recommend this story and series.

The hero is a second son who doesn’t take life too seriously until he falls for a barmaid and gets her with child. He then falls in love with the heroine and their daughter. The heroine has had a hard life with her mean stepbrother. She wants something better for herself and her daughter and not be under a man’s control. She does let the hero be part of their daughter’s life. Her stepbrother is involved in treasonous acts so there is some suspense as he blackmails the two main characters into being his messengers. I enjoyed the story and watching the hero mature and the heroine learn to trust.

I loved this story. It’s a Regency romance layered with mystery and suspense. Perfect for readers who enjoy second-chance love, class differences, and reformed rogues who never give up.

A delightful story where the author take the reader on a rollercoaster ride of extremes. Michael and Adelaide both have feelings for each other, but Adelaide wants to make a life for her daughter somewhere that she is not reliant upon a man. Michael wants to get to know his daughter and is determined to persuade Adelaide to take a chance on him. When danger threatens, can Adelaide learn to trust Michael? There are some very strong emotions between our main characters in this story. I absolutely loved the ending.

Adelaide was scared to give her heart to Michael. Even though they had a child out of wedlock and he offered to marry her, she still resists. When it turns out that she is in danger from her step brother, Michael steps up to make things right. All he wants is for Adelaide to return his love. His heroics will certainly do that.

This final book in the series continues with Michael and Adelaide. Their story has many twists and turns. Her brother brings intrigue and danger into the story. Michael's life of privilege has made him more thoughtless, but his devotion to Adelaide is so sweet. He never gives up on her. I received an ARC and truly enjoyed this book and this series.
