Through Magic, United; In Battle, Steadfast; By Coven, Family.
Kaelen Brooks is the Light Mage of ARC, the oldest and most grounded of the team. With healing hands and the power to summon sunlight’s radiance, he’s a steady force his teammates rely on. But years of holding everyone else together have left him carrying a quiet loneliness he rarely acknowledges.
Wes Vega lives in shadow. As a darkness weaver, his powers are as dangerous as his past—a life shaped by abandonment and the constant struggle to control the darkness within. Wes doesn’t trust easily, but Kaelen’s warmth offers something he’s never a safe place to land.
Their connection is as magnetic as it is precarious. When a malevolent force manipulates Wes’s insecurities and stirs mistrust among the ARC mages, their bond is tested. Kaelen must decide if he’s willing to risk his heart and trust in Wes, even as the darkness threatens to tear them apart.
With a world-ending prophecy looming and their team on the brink, Kaelen and Wes’s love may be the key to saving the realm—or its undoing. Can light and darkness find harmony, or will the shadows claim them both?
