This truly was a simplified version of learning about genetics from DNA sequencing to the use of proteins and everything related such as mutations and even gene editing.

I definitely feel like I’ve gained some clarity on the process of how genes work but I also recognized that some of the scientific language used did create barriers in understanding what was being said. Readers should keep in mind that you will most likely be researching terminology while you read this book.

Overall, it was a nicely structured, informative read and I would highly recommend to any who feel like they have little-to-no knowledge of genetics and wish to build a sturdy foundation in it.
