In a world where humans and demi-humans coexist in day-to-day life, Kou is a half-human, half-vampire who works at a cafe. Following a traumatic incident in childhood, he's been avoiding making personal connections with humans, because, well... their blood smells delicious. this was the sweetest supernatural comfort read!
We've got a demihuman MC (half vampire, half werewolf, how cool is that?!) reuniting with his human childhood friend after years apart. One misunderstood blood-drinking incident drove them apart, but now they're slowly rebuilding their friendship and of course, falling head-over-heels in love.
The consent in this story is chef's kiss, enthusiastic, clear and so refreshing. It's full of fluffy moments, tender conversations, and that nostalgic "we used to know each other so well" vibe. Plus, the side characters are an absolute delight, especially the Vampire Mom who had me cackling!

This BL manga is about childhood friends who meet again. It's so damn cute, fluffy & even spicy at end! The thing that attracted me to it was that Kou is a werewolf/vampire hybrid demihuman 😍. Like we so rarely see this that I just had to, we got the hot bite & tail wagging! I easily read this in 1hr.
Kou is cutely grumpy & hate that humans are fragile, yet cares too. I had a feeling there would be reason for it & we got our answers through well done flashbacks. Itsuki's K's childhood human friend, who'd searched for him (I, like K, wondered why!). But ig a part of Suki always liked K 🤭. Itsuki's sunshiney, dedicated. We didn't see his family, I wonder if they're estranged.
They work in K's Vampy mom's cafe, she's so cool. I love her! All the designs, art & MCs are gorgeous here 😍. The relationship builds up well, it is actually just friendship before it becomes more. We didn't go direct to spice, but the bloodlust moments are hella hot too 🥵. I'm so happy we got to see them go on dates 😍. So adorable. My only gripe will be we weren't told about their sexuality or if they're eachother's firsts. But they seemed confident enough, so they either researched or...
We got the summary panel about world as in most mangas but I loved that we see environmental storytelling too. How demihumans coexist with humans, how there's mixed species. Most seem to be fairly humanoid, but some even take classes to shift. So freaking cool! I also noticed that the hair is styled in a way that we only see Kou's wolf ears. It's a running gag that mangas with demihumans have 4 ears but that doesn't seem to be tha case here!
I'll check more by this author. loved this. It's going to be my fav!

Entre ces deux personnages se tisse une relation pleine de tendresse où l'amitié occupe une place centrale, offrant un récit doux et réconfortant sur la reconnexion et la guérison des blessures passées.
Le charme de ce manga réside dans son mélange réussi entre douceur narrative et esthétique adorable. Les dessins sont particulièrement soignés, avec ces détails qui font toute la différence : les oreilles de Kô sont effectivement irrésistibles et apportent ce côté attachant au personnage.

This oneshot has been a fun read and the characters are so wholesome. Kou just doesn't want to put Itsuki in harms way and Itsuki attempts to ensure Kou it will be ok. While it does move their relationship development along quickly, it honestly did not bother me or feel unnatural. Would having more of the two be nice? yes, but still satisfied with in as a whole. When side characters appeared, they added to the story versus taking the attention way from the main two. And I liked how Itsuki kept an eye on Kou's tail knowing that it was his tell sign of when he was enjoying/happy with things.
The MC is a demihuman (half werewolf, half vampire) who "dislikes" humans, which is really just him keeping them a bay due to a childhood trauma. He reunites with a childhood friend, who he tries to keep at arms length since his mother hired him to help at the shop. Now that Itsuki has found Kou, he wants to jump back at being friends... But as they "practice" Kou drinking blood, Itsuki realized that his feelings are more than just friendship.

This was a manga that I was super excited to get to reading, i couldn’t wait to have it in my hands after i purchased it to be able to read it. I’m unsure fully what pulled me in so deeply… probably the plot and story overall (and I only knew a small amount about it), but this BL Manga ended up being genuinely so so cute and truly so good, I liked it a lot honestly
The whole cast of characters, the dynamics with everyone in the story, the bond between the main leads as we followed along with their love story- it was all just so sweet and so so good with wonderful humor and sweet moments plus good flashbacks and just time with them to be able to learn about them, their past and their bond with each other overall. It’s such a lighthearted read but also not boring since it keeps you interested and having fun while reading and loving the interactions plus the relationship that builds between the main couple :)

This one was cute. It's a little superficial and underdeveloped like most of these one-shots, but the art is beautiful and it was enough of a full story for what it was.
Kou is half-vampire, half-werewolf, and accidentally hurt Itsuki when they were kids. He's been clinging to that guilt for 15 years and now despises humans because of it. It's more of a self-imposed rule to stay away from them because they're a weaker species than that he actually hates them, however, because he was so traumatized by the events of his childhood.
They're really cute together, and the rest of the story outside of that trauma is simple and fluffy. I can't believe there wasn't a bite during the sex scene, though. Wild.

This is a very different take on a vampire romance with a yaoi twist. Kou doesn't just have vampire heritage though, but also werewolf as both of his parents were also demi-humans. The story starts off with Kou being a very happy child playing with a human friend, and quickly jumps forward to when he is fully grown and now apparently hates humans. What are the odds then that Itsuki, the same childhood friend we see in the beginning, has been looking for him all this time. It's a slow burn story as Kou learns more about his heritage and what his body has been telling him all along. Ituski has his own learning to do along the way, but starts out much more accepting and determined to be as close to Kou as he'll allow. Kou's mother is a firecracker, but the relationship between the boys really is well done overall. An enjoyable read with a different twist in some common mythology.

This was soooo cuuuuute. UGH the warm fuzzies!! I loooove when a grump goes soft for one person and one person only. Their story was a little sad of course because of how much the wolfie MC suffered during the 15 years they were apart, but the rest was so wholesome and sweet. I found it so, so cute how the human MC got jealous of the demihumans getting along and wolfie immediately caught on when he’s usually so aloof. It really showed how much he cares even if hes a total tsundere about it usually. Plus the tail wagging!! eeee i love that!

As cute as Kou and Itsuki’s dynamic ended up being, the beginning of this volume felt a bit jumbled in terms of the flows of things. I also would’ve liked seeing a bit more of their dynamic as kids and for Kou’s mom to have a bit more of a solid input as a side character could’ve been utilized more. Just to me, I feel like an additional volume or 2 could’ve fixed that since the story was cute.

This was just fluffy cuteness. I don't think the story is that deep but it was just so cute that I am here giving it four stars. I thought it was about a cat human but it is about a werewolf vampire human person. His mom is fantastic . Oh and there was slight jealousy, I ate that right up. Seems like tokyo pop has more by this author so I will check them out.

This is an one short that is just cute. I will say I didn't totally bond with the couple but they are cute. The artwork is amazing since one of yhe male leads has puppy ear and a tail. It's great halloween book for me.

This was so cute and I died over Kou and Itsuki reconnecting years later, and how it was because Kou accidentally hurt Itsuki in the past that he started hating humans. I loved what a sunshine bright person Itsuki was and how great these two were together. This was a fun and cute little story, and I loved them!

It was a sweet story. I would love to explore that world more with the certifications to shift for the dragon character, characters wearing muzzles, etc. It seems so interesting beyond the wholesome dynamic we follow.
