Beginningmere hours after the first novel ends, The Trials features Trent and Presley as they process the traumatic events that have just happened. Their love story has quickly turned into an unexpected frenzy that has left them holding tight to friends, family, and most of all each other. The couple will have to navigate the treacherous waters of increased fame, scandal, trust, and the trials of Presley’s abusers to once again find their bliss.
As they face their fears and confront their pasts, Trent and Presley discover that sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that are written in the stars.
Romance, law & order, chosen family, celebrity, and more!
Justice for Presley!!!! This book gives you more of a look into how trent and presley’s lives are looking after what happens at the end of the first book We get to see more lovable moments from our favorite characters including the haufners, baron, and we get to meet Trent’s loving family!
This is such a fun read and the ending … well that’s something you need to read All I can say is I feel satisfied with what two certain characters receive as punishment for their actions. IYKYK
The Trials starts off immediately where the first novel ends, and it doesn't let up on Presley and Trent while they do their best to navigate the trauma of what the heck just happened.
I gave the first book five stars, and I enjoyed this one even more, so kind of wishing there was an extra bonus star to give it, let's just say five stars* and the asterisk can be the sixth 😂
Listen, I reeeeeally liked how our leading man and lady were already established as a couple in this story, and everything that happens (and holy crap, the poor couple has a LOT more drama to wade through) their bond only grows stronger. I loved how they were a team, no matter what, and the BANTER continues, absolute gold. If Baley Noal wants to just keep writing about their daily lives like a reality show, I'd read it. 👀
There's more included with the celebrity aspect of Hollywood Heart-throb Trent Hayes too, which I thought was fantastic. Pros and cons of being famous, and Presley being suddenly thrust under the spotlight. So good!
I can't talk about banter without mentioning the supporting characters. You guys. The side characters are soooo good. Hilarious, comic relief, and just ride or die chosen family that have our leads' backs through it all. We're introduced to some new characters in this book, and they are very welcome additions to the crew.
The Trials is appropriately named, because we have to have JUSTICE for our girl, Presley. No spoilers here, but let's just say it's like those law procedural shows, which I adore, so it's fun to actually get some of the courtroom drama. Very well written and imagined, as well, because I honestly had no clue how anyone could argue in favor of villain Mike's actions, but those lawyers are sneaky 🤯
Overall, a wonderful conclusion for the duology. And like I said, if Baley Noal wants to write more, I'll be reading it! Keep 'em coming!
BALEY HAS DONE IT AGAIN! This book was so fun to read- it was hard to put down. The way she builds the character relationships and emotion is perfect. There were times where the plot felt a little slow but because of the character development and the way she describes their inner dialogue it was still so enjoyable to read. Like last time, MAJOR character withdrawals after I finished. Trent, Presley, Lisa, and Jake are forever my favs. BALEY WE NEED THOSE EPILOGUE NOVELLAS STAT!!!!!!
Through book 1 & book 2 I have absolutely fallen in love with Trent and Presley's story! It's a beautifully written love story, with just enough drama and action to keep you locked in! I truly hope this isn't the end of their story. I just want to continue reading! ♡♡
This was a great way to see that justice was served and to get more of P & T love story! Truly the best way to wrap up Starstruck! Another amazing novel by BN.
