BURNING THROUGH GRAVITY—they soared so high so fast they never expected the fall.

Two beautiful souls.
Two seemingly innocent deceptions.

Once they meet, Stevie and Ford explode into one another in a ball of lust, hotter than a July moon. Ford is assertive, dominate and in control, that is until Stevie brings him to his knees. He thinks she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever met both inside and out. Stevie thinks he’s sweet, and sort of goofy—of course it doesn’t hurt that he drips sex like honey.

Stevie is starting to fall hard for Ford.
And Ford is all in with Stevie.
She wonders if he could ever forgive her for what she’s about to do.
She wonders if she wants him to.

They say love conquers all.
But love never met two liars like Stevie and Ford.

His lie cost her a few sleepless nights.
Her lie will cost him everything.

i almost have no words. this book was like a bad soap opera, not even a good soap opera. stevie is completely unlikable and i don't know why ford had a POV, we didn't learn anything from it. then there were so many trajectories, dead identical twin, hidden identities, age difference, he rescued her from drowning ten years ago, workplace can't be together but we're secretly together, psycho ex, dead parents, neglectful parents, pregnancies, miscarriages, supportive but problematic siblings, corporate espionage, constant, constant lying and back and forth hot and cold BS, and lets not forget a ultra hipster software company and why not open a club too. i haven't even finished it yet, i think zombies might be coming and a kidnapping and maybe if we are lucky it was all a dream of an autistic boy because i wouldn't expect less at this point.

cheap, very cheap.

****ARC PROVIDED FOR HONEST REVIEW*

Wow, I am speechless... that does not happen too often especially when it comes to books. I always have something to say. Okay, before you start thinking that I did not like Burning Through Gravity let me tell you this...I abslo-freakin-lutely LOVED it!

Addison takes us on a ride to say the least. The story has so many twists, turns and jaw-dropping moments that I swore my jaw would become permanently detached, or as my grandma said, "keep making that face, your going to be stuck with it!".

Burning Through Gravity is packed with jealously, lies, deceit, revenge, passion, hate, love, and betrayal. Yeah, it kept me on my toes. I was reading and being cocky, "Oh, I see where this is going." when out of no where Addison throws a curve ball at me. Word to the wise...never think you are going to know what is going to happen next in this book because believe me you will be wrong.

We meet Stephanie "Stevie" Eaton Lionheart, although she choose to go by Eaton only because of the strained relationship with her father. Stevie is jaded, cold and pretty much a loner. She lost her twin Claire to cancer when she was just sixteen and it changed her forever. She doesn't want to live and decided that she was going to be with her sister again, only her plan unraveled when she met Crawford "Ford" Cannon. He opened her eyes and made her want to live, made her want to be happy...only not all good things are meant to be easy.

Stevie and Ford were in for a bumpy ride. Their relationship was based on lies although their feelings were very real. When Stevie finds out Ford's secret she is shattered. Ford however isn't going to let Stevie go, he is determined to have her forever because he knew she was it for him.

Stevie however has plans and a responsibility to her father that she must carryout even if she doesn't want to at times. She is always fighting an internal battle knowing that in the end she is going to be without Ford, so she pushes him away. Not only does she push him away but she pushes him right in to the arms of his ex and also employee at his company Jinx, Evelyn, or as you will call her Evilyn. I however liked to refer to her a Bitch. You will understand why when you read the book trust me, she will leave a nasty taste in your mouth.

No matter how much Stevie tries to push Ford away she just can't. The further she tries to push him away the more Ford holds on. When Evilyn hatches a plan to get Ford back for good everything goes crazy. The story takes twists, turns and spirals leaving the reader holding on for dear life.

Only their love story has one huge hurdle, one that could rip Stevie and Ford apart for good. Will Stevie's ultimate betrayal be the end of their relationship? Or will true love win out in the end? I will not answer questions for you, believe me you don't want me to spoil this for you!

Let me tell you this. I love Addison's books. I am a huge fan. I thought I loved Kendall and Cruise from her "Someone to Love" Series but Ford and Stevie left them in the dust and that was no easy task. Stevie has to be the strongest female character that Addison has ever written. She doesn't take crap from anyone, she might act like she is going to but believe me her mind is coming up with someway to get someone back. Now let me tell you about Ford. He is a sweetheart but man believe me when I say he knows how to go Alpha too. He knows what he wants and he will not stop until he gets it. Come hell or high water he will win in the end. He was caring, patient and so understanding when it came to Stevie, even when he was hurting her I still couldn't help but love him.

The book also has an amazing supporting cast, that adds even more the the story and show that Ford and Stevie are not the only one's with secrets.

Burning Through Gravity goes down as my favorite book by Addison Moore ever! I cannot wait to read A Thousand Starry Nights the second book in the series!

If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Burning Through Gravity was full to the brim with drama, intrigue, deceit, secrets, messed-up relationships, corporate espionage, crazy females, pretense, deaths, domestic abuse, second chances, daddy-issues, step-family issues and love. It was an absolutely wild ride and held my attention throughout. Almost anything you could think of was in there, and that's my main and only criticism. It became a little too much for me and turned into a slightly too unrealistic and over the top story. The writing itself was beautiful though.

I listened to the audio version and found the narration good. It swaps between the female and male point of view, which was done effectively. All the other side characters, and there were quite a few, had easily distinguishable voices, so you always knew who was speaking.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBlast.com.

Wow! I loved this book.

Don’t let yourself be fooled by the beginning. It won’t seem a good choice but, trust me, it’s the exact opposite.

Stevie and Ford meet at a party and they spend a weekend of passion but none of them knows who the other one really is.

The lies they tell will have consequences and that, when revealed, it will tear them apart.

This is the kind of book that keeps you on your toes until the very end. Nothing is what it seems and, just when you think you have it all figured out, you turn the page and your theories are blown away by some new twist.

This novel has everything. Love, hate, jealousy, passion, revenge and it will make you feel so much that you’ll be left reeling for days after you’re done with it.

I especially liked the synopsis provided by the author. It’s perfect. It makes you wonder and want to read but gives absolutely no clue on what’s going on inside the book.

The characters are really great and well defined. They all have strong personalities and you’ll come to love them really fast. Even the “bad guys”.

There was nothing superfluous in this story, which is why I probably enjoyed it this much. Every person, every action has a purpose and nothing is left unfinished.

It was my first Addison Moore book but it won’t be the last. This lady is really talented and I think you should definitely give her a chance.

4.5 stars

Happy Reading!

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The book starts with Stevie; it’s her twenty-third birthday and she’s planning to end her life. She has suffered with the grief of losing her twin sister Claire for the past seven years and has decided that she is ready to end her life and join her in the afterlife. But when she meets the mysterious Ford at a party her father is hosting that night, things change in ways Stevie could never have dreamed of. A series of serendipitous events takes place that change her life forever and finally give her a reason to carry on.

Ford is tall, dark, handsome and filthy rich. When he meets Stevie at the party he is immediately taken with her. When Stevie assumes that he is the hired help of one of the numerous big shots at her father’s party, she leaves with him to go to his brother’s beach house where a nearly two week long sex fest takes place. Stevie had a death wish anyway, what did it matter if it came at the hands of a stranger? When they finally part ways, mostly because Stevie was returning to school for her senior year and to start her internship, they decide to stay in touch. Unbeknownst to Stevie, her internship is at Jinx, a popular social media company and major competitor to Merlin, her father’s company. Jinx is owned by the illustrious Crawford Cannon, or as known to Stevie, Ford. Yes, THAT Ford. Can a relationship that is built on lies ever succeed? Or will it be over before it even begins? Is Ford the only one that has secrets, or does Stevie harbor secrets even bigger?

"It was a supreme day spa of the highest caliber where you eat all the Slim Jims and glazed donuts you wanted and never get fat."

Stevie has never had the kind of relationship with her father that some of her other siblings have. Stevie and Claire are the product of an extra-marital affair (along with their half sister, Aspen) and have always been seen as less worthy, right down to being written out of their father’s will. When Stevie is tasked to help take down Jinx in an effort for her father to take it over, she needs to make a decision of what is more important to her, the love of her father, or the love of the man that is her soul mate. Will her desire to finally be accepted by her father trump her desire to find her own happiness? Or will Stevie finally realize that she is responsible for her own happiness?

"I owned grief, made it my bitch. Just like I’m about to do with death. It may have caught Claire off guard, but tonight I’ll be calling the shots."

It is so hard to classify a book such as this because there are so many emotions invoked. There is suspense, grief, happiness, betrayal, intrigue, and humor, all wrapped up in a hot, steamy, package. I was immediately drawn in from the very first page and wanted to devour this book; I just couldn’t get enough. The characters are extremely well developed, right down to Stevie’s snark, which makes up so much of the character that she is, to Ford’s desire to love, and belong to someone. The relationships between the characters are complex and the feelings that they exchange, both good and bad, are intense. You can’t help but fall in love with both Stevie and Ford, given the hand they’ve been dealt and their ability to rise above the circumstances.

The epilogue will throw you for a complete loop that will leave you thinking, “What just happened here?” At every turn, Ms. Moore keeps the reader’s interest and glued to the pages. Burning Through Gravity has easily become one of my favorite reads of 2014. While it is the first in a series, it can be read as a standalone. Ms. Moore does an excellent job as well of developing the secondary characters in such a way that their introduction in this book makes for an easy segue into subsequent books. I am definitely looking forward to Aspen and Carter’s story, A Thousand Starry Nights, with a release date TBD.

This one is the hottest book Addison has written and it's so damn different from her other books, mainly because the characters are older and it's a different setting completely. Oh Ford you always have a smarta** comeback, "I won't be needing any liquor. And I sure as hell won't be needing any male enhancement products. Besides, rumor has it, you drink that stuff and you end up with a boner in your coffin." Ford he's not a smart man when it comes to Stevie he's says the wrong s***, "I may have told her Evelyn and I were together about a month ago." I hold up a hand "I know- I'm a stupid eff." Stevie she's upfront and honest well on most things, like her feelings, "why do I suddenly feel like a dirty little secret? Is that what I've become? Or is that what I've been all along?" I've never felt so much hatred towards a character as I did Evelyn. I enjoyed reading this book and honestly I'm looking forward to the others getting their own books in the series.

Stevie (Stephanie) and Claire Easton were as close as two sisters could be until Claire’s death from cancer at the age of 16. Now seven years later Stevie is still dealing with the loss of her sister and feels like she has nothing left, the loss of Claire has starting to consume her. As a product of an affair between her mother and Lans LionHeart, she has filled her head with reasons why Stevie should never trust a man. Now that Stevie is in her last year of college she is looking forward to her internship with Merlin, a media company her dad owns, she wants to get into his good graces. Stevie still has her half sister Aspen (also from one of her father’s affair), her half siblings Kinsley and Lincoln to turn to.

Ford (Crawford) Cannon started a multimedia company called Jinx with his brothers and the success of the company has made him a household name. He has no problem getting any woman he wants but they only seem to want him for his money. He rarely spends more than one night with them except when he spends time with a long time friend/ex Evelyn. She has been in his life for the past ten years and he seems to always keep coming back to her. Ford has been looking for some one who doesn’t care about who he is or how much money he’ll spend on them.

Stevie attends a function held by her father, intending to spend one last night with her family before she goes to visit Claire. Invited by Lans, Ford decided to step into enemy territory walking around checking out Jinx’s competition with Evelyn handing on his arm when sees Stevie standing outside. She has not only caught Ford’s attention but he is also drawn to her for reason unknown. After ditching Evelyn, Ford goes out to meet Stevie. They spend time talking and he soon realizes she has no idea who he is, making her all that more appealing to him. Stevie decides she going to flirt and spend one night with this handsome stranger she just met putting off her original plans with Claire. The problem for both Ford and Stevie is just one night is not enough for them, they want more but without the proper introduction these two have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review. When reading the synopsis for the book I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I have never read any of Addison Moore’s books before. This book had me hooked within the first chapter. I didn’t want to but had to know what Stevie was going to do and how Ford would play a part in her plans. She’s a strong woman who seems so lost without her twin sister. I get that the loss of Claire was like losing half of herself, and with a mother like hers I can is see how it was hard to deal with the loss and move. I felt for Stevie and wanted her to come to terms with Claire’s death. Ford is a guy who is dark walking with a cloud over him and doesn’t know who her can trust. With Evelyn in his life it makes it even worse as she is almost toxic to him. Once Ford meets Stevie he could see a way out from underneath the dark cloud that engulfing him. He is just the right amount of Alpha male any girl could ever want. Not too controlling or possessive but has a kind, caring heart. I love how Ford truly loves Stevie and would give up anything just to be with her. Evelyn (or Evilyn as Stevie calls her) is exactly the kind of money hungry, gold digging witch that would do anything to get what she wants. I love the nickname Stevie gave her as it suits her to a T. As I got further into the book I couldn’t put it down until the anxiety kicked in and I wasn’t sure I wanted to know what Evelyn or Lans was going do to next. I couldn’t just leave the book alone even though it was too late to be reading as I had to find out if Ford and Stevie would be okay.
I love how Addison developed all the main characters in the book setting it up for the series and how they all interact with each other throughout the book. I look forward to reading next book in the series as Carter’s (Crawford’s brother) and Aspen story is next.
If you have a spare second or looking for an amazing book to read, Burning Through Gravity has to be put at the top of your list. I loved this book and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who reads.

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

I have to admit that what originally drew me to Burning Through Gravity was the blurb. It had just enough info to intrigue me, but at the same time was completely vague. I knew I had to read it, and I figured that this one would really be different from what I had read recently. While I will say that this one was different and not like anything I had read before, it left me with a lot of mixed feelings. I will say that I was interested the whole time and had to see how things would play out. But honestly, this one was really confusing and I had some major issues with the story.

When Stevie and Ford meet each other, both have secrets that they keep hidden from one another. What starts as a single night together ends up turning into a few great weeks. Stevie and Ford end up agreeing to continue to stay in touch but with her about to go back to school and begin her internship, and Ford's job they will be much busier. Stevie finds out that she has been reassigned from her father's company Merlin to his top competitor Jinx. But when Stevie shows up for her new job at Jinx, she quickly learns that the owner Crawford Cannon is actually Ford. With both of them now working together as well as the secrets they both still are keeping, is it possible for them to continue with anything between them or will they both end up heartbroken and in ruin?

Stevie and Ford had their moments for me. I really believe that almost every single problem in this book was due to their lies and miscommunication. They would have been able to solve so much with a few honest conversations. Ford was great with Stevie for the most part, but he did have a few moments that made me question his feelings. I don't care if the person you are wanting to be with says you need to date your ex to prove that you are over them, I would have put my foot down and refused. The fact that he went along with it initially and continued to do so for the majority of the book just made me dislike him at times. And then he turned it around to try and make her jealous which took it even further. I didn't like it, and it got old really quickly. Not to mention said ex was a total psycho. He never should have done it. Then Stevie gets jealous and doesn't like how he is acting. She starts believing that he is getting back with his ex. Honestly she had no one to blame but herself, and I didn't have much sympathy for her. I did think that Stevie and Ford had chemistry and seemed to have a connection, which is why it was so bizarre how they were handling things.

My main issue with this book was that it was so over the top all the time. There was so much going on, and it got really confusing. It was like the author just decided to through every possible storyline at the wall to see which would stick. I won't even begin to go into everything as it would spoil the entire book, but honestly it was too much. I think that this could have been a really great story if only Addison Moore had focused on a few of these things and forgot the rest. I was interested enough from the blurb and the beginning of the story without adding in all the extra drama and bs. It just didn't work for me and was distracting and disappointing. I felt like we really lost sight of the relationship developing between Stevie and Ford because of it all, and it really ruined things for me. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to know how things played out and that it was well written, I would have given up and stopped reading. But I really was curious with everything going on how everything would shake out. I honestly don't know if I would read the next book or even recommend this story. To me it was really confusing and unless you are wanting a story with every possible twist or obstacle thrown in then this one probably isn't for you. I will say that I was curious about Ford's brother Carter and Stevie's sister Aspen and what had happened between them. For that reason alone I might end up reading the next book in the series since it is about them. Maybe this book just wasn't for me or I just didn't get it, but I was disappointed.

I finally found an author author that touched my heart so deeply to the core that I'm still in awe. When a book reaches your heart and pulls it to the depths of the abyss , allowing your soul connection within your heart creating true bliss , then that's book heaven! It literally burned through my heart!

So freaking awesome!!!!!!

I usually read paranormal so hey go figure! This book keeps you on the edge of your seat by guessing what next what's gonna happen next. Will Stevie get her happiness? She's broken and grief stricken person person over the loss of her twin sister. Though her parents have money, she's spoiled but not in a a way that would make a person despise her At first, I wasn't sure if I could read the book because I have endure such lose myself in the past but, I found myself going through some of the steps with Stevie and this book had so much humor in it you couldn't help but laugh your ass off at times. Boy was I not disappointed.

Ford was a womanizer at first with lots of money but, deep down you could really tell he had a heart of gold He is a true gentleman. They are both fun, quirky, fun loving individuals that real are soul mates and melt your heart from beginning to the end There's so many emotions going on in this book that you can hardly contain yourself. You feel happiness, sadness, betrayal, suspense, grief, humor, secrets, intriguing, and much much more. So when you pick this book up prepare a quite place and warn others! Prepare for that book hang over of a life time because its coming!! Oh, and one more thing, I was so not expecting the ending!

From the beginning to end I was caught in an emotional tidal wave. Stevie fights so many different battles, and it’s hard not to put yourself in her shoes. And just as quickly want to jump out of them. Sometimes life isn’t fair and we are dealt cards that should never exist in the deck. It’s hard to keep living when all you feel is alone and empty. And then someone comes along and we start to see life a little different, a little brighter; a little less bleak. Ford saves Stevie from falling into darkness. But can Ford save Ford from losing everything he worked so hard to accomplish. “We aren’t defined by the mistakes we make, but by what we learn from those mistakes and how we move on”(BTG). Beautifully written, Burning Through Gravity is one of my favorite Addison Moore books. I highly recommend this book and I suggest you don’t wait any longer.

Love pretty much anything I've read by Addison Moore and this is no exception, I loved that I had no clue what was going to happen next, no clue on the truth about anyone, there were great characters and plenty of surprises! Thank you to the Author for such a great and wonderful read I couldn't put down!

This story really gets under your skin and doesn't mess around when it comes to being the real deal.

Absolutely BRILLIANT! The story is hardcore, and dramatic to the finest. Addison Moore really gets in there dirtying her hands with the writing style and put so much thought into it, allowing the details have more than just an imaginative visual of the story unfolding. Moore really exposes all of the knit and gritty aspects and the most prominent attributes of this tale and in the end presents a magnificent piece of work. Able to bring a reader to tears in less than 12 pages in and leaving them a blubbering mess, both sated but needing more is very hard to accomplish and Moore did exactly that.

Saying the prose was great, the poetry was even greater. The depth, perception, and emotion it had beset a fantastic emphasis to the prose, and vice versa. The poetry itself held answers to the story in general and of the many situations these baggage-carrying characters continuously found themselves in.

Many things were happening all at once, so a reader's full attention is recommended. However, things were fairly easy to follow and understand. This book had it all: money, power, affairs, love, hate, jealousy, lust, passion, revenge, illness, betrayal. A lot of how the characters lives' revolved around were the secrets and lies.

Main character, Stephanie 'Stevie' Eaton lost her twin sister when they where 16, and since then had kept her promise of living for her sister, until that day she decides to be reunited with her twin once again. Things didn't go as planned, so she finds herself at the hands of the deadly attractive Crawford 'Ford' Cannon that has now saved her life more than once. What becomes of their endless days of passion quickly builds something more than just a mere one-night stand that soon comes to an end. Note that there is a saying about when one thing ends, another starts anew. Well, that beginning has both Stevie and Ford in for more than they could ever ask for or dream of...

A lot of the time, the characters mention the irony in how situations happen, and how some characters were there for a reason instead of just a coincidence. The humor in here was just as entertaining. Even though the mention of Sweaty Betty was irrelevant to the story, it was needed for the flirtation between the two main characters as well as easily allow the reader see the depiction of the story's more common environment setting and to set the atmosphere at the point in the book. The passionate love scenes are more than a reader could ask more: smoldering-hot, heart-wrenching and beautiful in every sense of the word.

I really find the author's choice of illness (cancer) interesting in how it effects the main character and therefore sets off the many landmines exploding before the readers eyes, and the reason behind most of it is unknown until the very end, keeping it completely off the radar from both the character and the reader to find out later on when everything is said and done.

The psychological impact his pretty voluminous, as well and metaphorically speaking. What balances that out is the philosophical conversations the characters have with one another to more than likely keep most of them sane often enough. There is also the character's religious belief that is well known from the beginning, which is more likely Moore's more personal input that gives a more realistic sense in a particular way to sort of show some balance with all the sin-like actions being made hereon out.

I love the heart-felt emotions flooding throughout the pages, sucking in the reader with everything other then a story that farts out rainbows and cotton candy. The unicorn depiction in Briana Gaitan's Ethereal Underground is more like it. Bittersweet. The balance scale is always more on one end than the other, but does find equilibrium soon enough.

Overall, I really had a fantastic time reading this amazing story and would highly recommend it to any lover of romance stories because Burning Through Gravity is an absolute MUST-READ. I am definitely pumped to begin the next book in this series when available.

Burning through Gravity by Addison Moore is WOW just WOW!! I am going to start by saying 5 Stars all the way!!! I truly loved this book and still thinking of it right now!
The story starts with Stevie Eaton being 16 and her twin sister Claire is dying of cancer. From the beginning you can tell the two sisters love each other deeply. Stevie even plans to commit suicide to be with her sister because she doesn’t want to live without her other half. Claire makes Stevie promise to live for her. The reader is pretty much kept in the dark about the true nature and impact of all that Stevie and Claire endure from birth on.
Stevie moves on though still very depressed and miserable without Claire by herself. She goes to college and starts planning on joining her sister in the afterlife. However, on the night of the planned deed, she meets Crawford “Ford” Cannon. Its sparks at first sight for both. When I say sparks I literally mean the ripping the clothes off and going for it sparks. No matter what Stevie says to try and push Ford away and vice versa they end up together on a 2 week seclusion from everyone connecting in EVERY way. It’s the fairy tale romance of love at first glance while locked up at Ford’s brother’s beach house. I swear I wanted to be her!
Then in walks the real world and BAM! Your heart immediately is handed to you. These two cannot seem to get it right. At times I wanted to strangle them both while still rooting for them. Ford has a secret that rocks Stevie for loop for a short while. However, Stevie has a secret that could ruin them forever.
There is love, betrayal, backstabbing, making up, heartbreak, and more making up. I swear as the reader at times I had no clue where Addison was going with these characters. I could not put this down. I needed to know right away. Stevie has balls of steel. No seriously she is such a strong woman. I want to be her! I admire her and envy her all at once. As for Ford good lord someone find this man for me now! I mean is the most loving, patient, caring alpha male. The other characters in this story are all strong and wonderfully written. I am even hoping some of them get their own story.
Addison Moore was new author to me and I am forever hooked now. This truly is the story for you if you can handle it! Well done Addison Moore! I cannot praise you enough!

Burning Through Gravity is a book of lies and misunderstood opportunities. I was hooked from the very beginning, even though I was frustrated throughout most of the book. I loved Ford and Stevie together, but I didn't like Ford when he wasn't with her. I thought he really needed to grow a pair, up until the very end, when he finally redeemed himself. Stevie was a journey of self discovery, but it was also hard to like her at times because of her lies and her omissions. I just wanted to shake these two into having some conversation, because if they would have talked it would have been less frustrating to everyone. I look forward to reading the next book about their siblings and I hope to get a little more of Ford and Stevie too!! I could have rated this book higher, but the lies and the lies, and oh, the lies kept me from doing that. (and that includes the lies by omission, that was the most frustrating of all)

Wow. I don't know where to begin. I went through every emotion with this book. I even got so mad I wanted to break something, but it was so damn good and worth every second of my heart pounding and my emotions going on a roller coaster ride.

Stevie and Ford were seemingly doomed from the start with Stevie's background. She is all kinds of messed up emotionally. She dreams of dying and being with her twin sister again, until she is saved for the 2nd time by Ford.

These two go through everything you can possibly imagine. At several points I wanted to choke both of them. They made their situation so much more miserable than it ever had to be.

I don't want to give away ANY details at all because than you will not experience the roller coaster ride along the way. It is so very worth it. This is absolute must read. Can't not wait to dig into book 2.

What. . . What just happened? That was amazing and sad and hot and so confusing. I had to read the first two chapters to see if I missed anything but I don't think I did. . . I loved this book. I was invested by the first sentence and it was so worth 3 hours of sleep over. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Drama puke

I guess this is new adult? Flowery, emotional prose with a super confused heroine and a rambling plot that makes sense at the very end. A couple steamy scenes but nothing to come back for.

Who tells their boyfriend to go date his ex to make sure he's done with that relationship?! Drama fest.

An amazing book - I got sucked right in, and wouldn't put it down!

I loved the unpredictability of this book. Strong characters and for once not a weepy woman falling over the main man.

Storyline is one of the best I've read.

After reading this book I’m in awe of how Ms. Moore was able to pull that off. A beautifully twisted story from start to finish. Leaving a review after reading it, is just impossible… it will leave you Speechless. It was eloquently written that you find yourself immersed in the story and you just can’t put it down! This book is filled with sarcasm, power, money, love, hate, deceit, jealousy, lust, passion, revenge and betrayal. And without further ado, let’s meet…

Stephanie “Stevie” Eaton, a 16-year old girl with a twin sister Claire who got the killer disease known as cancer. The love between the sister is evident when Stevie decided to end her life just to be with Claire. But Claire convinced Stevie not to give up on life just because she is dying.

Stevie can’t seem to cope up with the death of her sister even after seven years. She still feels the need to end her life just to be with her sister. On the night she plans to do it, at a mixer party organized by her father, Stevie met Crawford “Ford” Cannon mutual attraction comes to play with these two, after spending a single night together that extends to almost 2 weeks of pure sexual bliss.

Mind you, they still don’t have any idea who they really are, both have secrets that they keep hidden from each other. But the time has come for these two to part ways, Stevie to finish college by attending an internship to Lynx. While Ford will attend to his business as head of Lynx, yes the company that Stevie will be doing her internship.

What will happen when these two meet again?

"Our eyes remain locked like some unfortunate livewire neither of us can let go of." -- Stevie

"Here she is, staring back at me with a wild-eyed look that says I'll rip your balls off first chance I get." -- Ford

Will they be able to manage the pressure of working together? What about their secret can they handle the truth once it’s known to each other?

As a reader, I often stop and wonder what will happen next, this book will certainly keep you guessing and mostly my assumption is wrong. That’s how this good this book is. The characters are well defined. Stevie is a strong woman that knows what she wants while Ford is the ultimate Alpha male that you want to meet for real.

The epilogue did it to me, I didn't expect it to end like that. Addison Moore truly knows how to make an ending that will give you a book hangover. This is one of my best reads of 2014. Why don't you treat yourself and read it, I assure you it's worth your time. Well done, Ms. Moore!

I loved this! Just what I needed to get my reading groove back. Full review tomorrow on the blog :)

This book was originally reviewed on The Book Hookup.

I loved this. Like really loved this. I kind of knew I would though. How did I know? Well, Addison Moore stories are always a hit with me, and I was craving a new world, one that would tangle me up in a web of craziness, secrets and lies. And that’s just what happened. Addison always know how to draw me in and make me fall in love. This was exactly what the read I was looking for. I’ll review it spoiler free, just tell you about all the reasons I loved it.

This book starts right off with insta-lust and combustible attraction for Stevie and Ford. The two hold back on pieces of themselves, because really, they just met…yet they soon find this lack of sharing comes back to bite them and throw them curve balls the size of Jupiter. We the reader know a lot of the secrets, but not all of them, and it was that give and take that had me turning the pages at a crazy rate.

The romance is initially all about the sexy times, but then it turns to a slow burn as these two realize they can’t be without the other. End of story? Nope…in perfect Addison style it’s never as easy as that. There are layers of drama and secrets, then more secrets and scandals, followed up by even more. I could not put this down. You’d think that having the kissy time up front would have satisfied me, but I’m thinking it made it worse. At every turn I wanted them to be together and it was killing me that there was so much $#!+ going on…but boy oh boy does it make for a good read. ;)

As far as the MCs went I truly loved both even though they had plenty of flaws and weaknesses. It’s what made them so human to me. But the weaknesses were made up by their determination to get it right, because epic love just has to win, right? That’s why so many of us are book lovers…we need our HEA, and I found myself just loving the ride of this romance.

There was a fairly huge cast of characters, yet I felt like I got to know them so well. I loved and adored some and absolutely loathed others. And at the same time I laughed out loud because there were moments and lines of pure hilarity and witty comebacks.

If you love a slow burning epic love story, with a delicious dose of lies, backstabbing, and amazing kisses….oh, topped with an HEA this is great addition for your TBR. I can’t wait to start book 2 because I know this story is going to be so good.

**I received a free copy for an honest review**

After reading the last page, I was stunned...speechless! There were no words, yet, to describe what I was feeling after reading Burning Through Gravity! This is definitely a story of complex characters!

I absolutely loved Stevie and Ford's story! I was so taken by Stevie's view in life, especially after her tragic loss. Ford has had his fair share of loss as well. But, when these two come together, it's a whole new story. They each come together with secrets, but both wanting and searching for love.

Addison Moore has written a beautiful love story filled with desire and longing, as well as mystery, deceit, betrayal...and twists! Yes! There was some suspenseful twists to this couple's story. Wow! I loved how these twists in the story were interwoven making everything and everyone connected in one way or the other. It will make any reader take a double take...hahaha! Because I did!!! The flow of the story was consistent in making me fall in love with Stevie and Ford...and being angry with those that want to come between them...haha! It was easy for me to follow and fall in love with the lives of these characters. I loved how the issue of domestic violence/battered woman syndrome was subtly interwoven into the story, but still made an impact with the characters and their relationships with each other.

Stevie and Ford had their secrets... and their deceptions just made it that much more a struggle to come back to the truth.

Burning Through Gravity pulled me into their world from the beginning. Once the lies started, Stevie and Ford couldn't stop lying, and made it that much harder for them to come clean. But, in the end, is Stevie and Ford's love for each other strong enough for them to come clean with the truth and forgive each other? Well, I found out after reading this book. And, I must say, if it wasn't for my job and other responsibilities, I would have read this book nonstop...maybe I would have finished in one day! That's how much I didn't want to put the book down! I was just so taken in with this "game" Stevie and Ford were playing while they fought against falling in love with each other. There were moments when I gasped when the twists in their story came about...making me take a double take...hahaha! And, finally, when all the truths were revealed, I was stunned...in a good way!

Rating: ★★★★
Narration: ★★★★

I am a huge Addison Moore fan so was very excited to receive the audio to Burning Through Gravity. Overall, I enjoyed this story and found it to be a pure summer escape indulgence filled with all kinds of drama. I listened to the story from start to finish, gobbling it up like it was my last chocolate bar. Addison Moore created a very fast paced contemporary romance with something happening from one page to the next. I had mixed emotions about the characters as I liked them both, however, there were quite a few times I wanted to smack the crap out of them too. Stevie and Ford are very naive and trusting, despite all they've endured in their lives before meeting each other. Yet, the main characters seem eager to believe what others tell them, as well as intent to hold onto secrets that would have the ability to squash a lot of the issues popping up within their lives.

If you are looking for a fun poolside read and are able to overlook character flaws, this is a great book. I've already downloaded the next book in the series - A Thousand Starry Nights - and am looking forward to reading it. (Although fingers are crossed it also becomes available in audio!)

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BOOK, AND THE NARRATION IS FLAWLESS!!

Stevie has lived her young life in heartbreak, she has been neglected, and suffered the loss of her twin...She says at the very beginning that she has made grief her bitch...and from that moment on I knew I could bond with Stevie! She is planning her suicide the night she meets him...Ford, and from that moment on they were meant to be. Stevie's father is a cruel, rich, womanizer...Stevie being the result of one his many affairs...he sets Stevie up with an internship at Jinks, Ford's company..well from the beginning Ford and Stevie have not been honest with each other and neither knows each others true identities...Stevie's father makes a deal with her, if she gives him inside info on Fords company and helps him steal it, he will put her back in the will...but Stevie's in love....what should she do...She is such a damaged child...She gives in...but in the end...love conquers all!

I NEED BOOK 2 ASAP!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU LIKE A STORY WHERE YOUR HEART GETS RIPPED OUT AND PUT BACK TOGETHER SEVERAL TIMES...AND LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS!!!! THIS BOOK WILL KEEP YOU GUESSING..SO DON'T TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT....JUST KEEP LISTENING!!!
