The sequel to Black Forest: Kingdoms Fall on Kindle Unlimited.
Cinderella, Rapunzel and all their friends are free from the storyteller - but in a world where he created great evils, means that not all is at peace.
When we catch up with Cin, we find her struggling to come to terms with her role as hero and leader. Feeling imposter syndrome and wary of the knighthood that the kings wish to bestow upon her. Ah Cinderella is so brave and true. Her modesty and humbleness is not forced either and you truly feel her struggle.
There's a lot of action that happens, but I don't want to mention too much in case of spoilers - except to say the events will test all the characters inner faith in each other, and their love and trust. It will also show their own insecurities and how evil can and will use them against you. But how we must fight and have faith in what we know, and those who love us.
A lovely tale, again so moving and wonderful characters.

OK - Book #1 was awesome and any #2 would struggle in it's shadow. I think any other I would have given five stars but the bar was set just too high.
I had the feeling in one or two parts the book starts to lose it's way but each time the author brings it back on course. No second book syndrome but more of a consolidation for (hopefully) a great conclusion. Once again great chemistry between Cinderella and Rapunzel

I like the take this series has on all the old fairy tales! I can't wait to find out where the story leads.
