I read this book in 2025, but the audio has just come out, so I had to give it a listen!!
I loved the listen! The narrator is fantastic! I really enjoyed listening to his story telling!
I highly recommend the listen!!

This is a love story, a killing story, a heartbreaking story, a taboo story and an amazingly written story!
This book is about Toryen and the hard and crazy life that was dealt to him. As a teen, he finally understands about happiness and true love once he meets Cecelia.
This is a deep and dark story, which is so intense and passionate!
I read this book so fast and I couldn’t put it down!
Vivian Vandam is an amazing author! Her ability to tell a story is fantastic! Her books are automatic reads for me!!

Thank you to Vivian for an arc of this beautifully written and dramatic story!

This book has a morally black MMC and to some I think they would label this as pitch black.
Personally I had a blast. It’s in one POV of the MMC. It felt different and very taboo.

This is not a literary masterpiece but if you’re about the vibes you’ll have a good time.

Taboo, Trauma... I'm Totally Wrecked🥺

OMG Besties… "Twisted Love" came in hard and did not let up. Chapter 1 emotionally drop-kicked me, and Vivian VanDam’s descriptive writing had me feeling every ounce of Toryen’s pain. Watching his perspective unfold? Absolutely gut wrenching🥺.

Cece and Toryen are wrapped in layers of trauma, obs€ssion, and morally grey choices that will have your chest tight and your heart racing. The taboo tension, hate-to-love pull, and 'he falls first' energy are dark romance catnip, but it’s the emotional turmoil that truly wrecked me. Fate is cruel, the stakes are lethal, and every decision feels like it could shatter everything.

This book will hurt you. Grab tissues. Then keep reading anyway... because the pain... Completely worth it. 🖤

I finished this book days ago and I still don’t know how to feel. This is hands down one of the darkest, most twisted books I’ve ever read and I do enjoy the darker romances. At times, I was uncomfortable. I felt sick. I was devastated for these characters. But that’s the thing… Vivian Vandam makes you feel it. All of it. The pain, the grief, the obsession, the trauma, it’s all there, raw and unfiltered.

Toryen’s POV was perfection. Getting the entire story through his lens made the whole thing feel even more intense, more personal, and more messed up (in the best way). And Cece… sweet, broken, fierce Cece. The two of them really went through it for that ending. It was messy, it was brutal, but it was theirs.

Was it a quick read? Yes. Did I wish for more at times? Absolutely. I would've gladly lived in that dark little world for 100 more pages. If you’re into taboo love that challenges your comfort zone, wrecks your soul, and still manages to give you a twisted little HEA… buckle up. This one's not for the faint of heart, but damn, it sticks with you.

Another work of art.

I’ve been on a reading hiatus since the world is on fire and depression has had me in a chokehold. Vivian Vandam broke my depression hiatus with a truly twisted beautiful book. I devoured this book and cannot wait for what’s to come!
