This book reads like someone took sad Twitter posts, slapped them together, and called it poetry. No depth, no originality, just the same overused heartbreak clichés on repeat.This isn’t poetry; this is the literary equivalent of a sad WhatsApp story. It’s giving “just got dumped, let me be deep” energy, but in reality, it’s as deep as a rain puddle. No raw emotion, no originality—just the same tired heartbreak quotes you’ve seen a thousand times before.This reads like someone copied every sad Pinterest quote, mixed in some generic heartbreak clichés, and called it poetry. It lacks depth, originality, and any real emotional impact. Just words strung together to sound profound—but feeling absolutely empty.

Most of the content seems like a self-indulgent diary of a teenager, lacking depth in its approach... Not worth the hype.

Well these poems made me feel nothing, sir(most of them anyway). This book was not for me. To be fair I have never experienced a heart-break. But but I have experienced love, and I really have to question what kind of love people are falling into if these are the words that comfort them.

I don't want to be too harsh but the words in here honestly felt a little bit too stupid. 💀

Anyway, here's one of the rare 'poems' that actually made me feel something:

I love the questions that begin with, ‘Remember when’.


"Remember when we were too drunk to even walk straight? Remember when I called you at 3 a.m. to ask about how you make your special noodles? Remember when we stayed up all night trying to find a movie but ended up rewatching episodes from our favorite sitcoms all over again?"


Such questions are proof that someone remembers us. That the memories we create with some people mean just as much to them as they mean to us. That they also cherish the bond we share.

A book full of "3 am-thoughts"

I thought it would be a book that motivates broken hearts to move on.

But it is more than that.
It's more of the heavy thoughts of sleepless nights. It's a peculiar time. You are alone, there is nothing or no one to save you from your thoughts and feelings.
But they are not the bad ones with agony and hatred for those who left you alone, but you also feel hope for a better version of yourself, hope for love and cherish the good memories you had with them.

The author compiled those lonely thoughts, we feel when we finally decide "I don't love you anymore."

'I Don't Love You Anymore' is a poetry book by Instagram's very popular poet Rithvik Singh.

This book is his take on love and the process of healing from heartbreaks. First self-published and then re-published by Penguin Random House India, it's a book that vastly became best-selling. I personally chose this book after seeing it a lot across the feed, and I didn't like the book.

I didn't like the book because there wasn't any fresh take on his part. It's all written in the past. Though there are a few proses that connected to me, but most of it well, it didn't.

This book is a collection of proses and quotes, and you could read it in a single sitting like I did. It's a collection of all the Instagram quotes that sometimes light up your day during your worst phases in life.

For someone who reads poetry so lovingly and vastly, this might not hit the right spot, and for me, it truly didn't.

Overall, it is a great book for beginners and people who want to read short and fast-paced books.

There were a lot of quotes but this one touched my heart;
