The author was so kind to reach out to me and offer an ARC of this book. I appreciate that. Thank you.

As for my review. This book is very heartfelt and enjoyable. The author really readjusted the pacing and flow for this book (however some battle scenes lagged for me personally, but that didn’t stop my enjoyment). The characterization was phenomenal. Shig was by far my favorite character. I really felt like I knew these characters which is a big upgrade from when I read the first edition to the first book of this series.

Not only is this book a good read, but it’s a staple of a great author learning his craft!

This is a great follow up to the Tale of Tiernan. I love the amazing cast of characters and how they all learn from each other and work together. Epic battles abound and the story wraps up in a satisfying way and I need the next book.
