L.G.Fabbo-Gonnella is a resident of NYC. He has often said Manhattan is the underlying unspoken character in many of his books. "I guess its a love affair that I have with her," he once said. "I could live here forever and yet still find magical things about her that I never knew existed. When not seeking out interesting new locales for his books he can be found dinning with friends and enjoying all the city he adores has to offer. Though he has not yet met the supernatural denizens of NYC, he does hope too one day. 3 Stars Book 2 in Mark Julian Vampire P.I. Series and this story was a little strange with all the supernatural communities interacting and a mysterious person setting out to overthrow the council. The storyline for Mark & Vinnie picks up about a year after book one, they are in a committed relationship and Vinnie's Catholic family adores Mark. They are living together, both still working their jobs, and gradually merging their lives while Vinnie learns more and more about the supernatural community each day. I am left to wonder, will Vinnie want to be changed into a vampire? How will Mark deal with the mortality of his lover? These books lack heat, all fade to black scenes and angst, so unless that changes I can't see my ratings get any better - overall 3 stars

There is quite a big gap between the first book and this one Mark and Vinnie are shacked up and loved up There are vampires, werewolves , witches and nazi types At parts quite exciting, but really suffers-as the first book did from way too much detail and telling, and not enough sense of emotion and feeling
