It takes place on Jesse and Ava's wedding day and as usual Jesse is up to his trampling ways because he needs to see his bride to be and his soon to be mother-in-law is forcing him to stick to tradition!

Quando ho letto "E-book terminato" mi sono da subito detta che questa era davvero la fine.. Niente più Lord, niente più Ava, Maddie o Jacob.

Fare la recensione del Lord è difficile, perché ci sono talmente cose da dire. Tutti e tre i libri, anche dopo la 5000000 volte che li leggi ti lasciano con la beatitudine nel cuore. Si ci sono passaggi che fanno piangere a dirotto (la storia travagliata con Lauren, il tradimento di Jesse per 4 giorni), ma tutto si supera e i due personaggi principali, con caratteri opposti, si trovano e rimangono uniti e sempre più forti contro tutti e tutto.

Ava è una giovane designer. Jesse un uomo con un maniero/sex club di lusso. Non potrebbero essere più diversi e più perfetti l'uno per l'altro.
Durante tutti e 3.5 libri non fanno altro che combattere con i propri demoni, personaggi antagonisti da manicomio, e amarsi con sesso sfrenato e delle scenate pazzesche di gelosia.
Accerchiati da amici e confidenti molto presenti durante la narrazione, i due arriveranno all'happy ending.

Io ho amato e divorato la trilogia. Certo Jesse è un prepotente e manipolatore, ma farebbe di tutto per la sua donna. Ava, libera e indipendente, non perde mai la sua "frizzante" e frescha mente. E non si può dire che il Lord non provi a sottometterla!

La trama è talmente intricata che a volte non sai più di chi fidarti ne dove guardare! Ci sono trame nascoste, segreti, fino all'ultima pagina!

JEM è stata, con questi suoi primi libri, una bellissima scoperta che ad ogni lettura mi laacia con il sorriso!
Non vedo l'ora di leggere il 4!

Patience is not Jesse's strong suit. While waiting to marry Ava, his imagination runs wild with "what ifs" He tries to shake the bombardment of old memories by trying to outrun them. Finally realizing what he needs is some Ava time, he crashes into the brides suite much to the consternation of his mother-in-law to be. He gets his Ava fix and deals with a voice from the past. Now, he's going to marry the love of his life.

Jesse and Ava on their wedding day 👰🤵🏼 It was nice to have some Lord POV. Jesses thoughts aren't so easily deduced in the original books so it's nice to see inside his head for a little while. This love for Ava is truly unmeasurable and incalculable and I am happy about this little gem.
