Ten years ago, the last great war ended and resulted in the Split. The last known work of the government, the Split, was the separation of all people throughout the world based solely on age. After families had been forcibly torn apart, the triplets should have been the lucky ones, but Scythe, Jinx, and Calyx haven’t gone without their fair share of hardship. Being drafted into the druinvir from the beginning, Scythe and Jinx fight to keep their humanity as the director toys with their minds and souls. And all the while, their third triplet, Calyx is clueless. They want to defeat the director, but how can they when every attempt so far has brought nothing but pain? Excellent story! I enjoyed this second book by the author(this is the first in this series). The characters are rich and I was drawn in and held by the story and the characters. The author made me want to feel and wonder what was going to happen next each step in the story. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
