He’s my brother’s best friend.
The bully who made my life miserable.
And the last man I thought I’d be having triplets with.

After 10 years, I can’t avoid Blake anymore.
Not with my new job covering his NHL team.

He tormented me mercilessly growing up.
Now he’s a charming, infuriatingly sexy, billionaire single dad,
Determined to prove he’s not the guy I remember.

Every apology, every thoughtful gesture,
Chips away at the walls I’ve built.

One moment, I’m questioning his motives.
The next, I’m waking up in his bed after a night I’ll never forget.

Falling for him wasn’t part of the plan.
But seeing him with his daughter reveals a side I never expected.

Now I’m carrying a secret that will change everything.

Enemies to Lovers With a Triplets Twist!!

Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️

This book was a interesting read. The two main characters start out as estranged with a lot of baggage between the two of them focused on how the MMC treated the FMC during their childhood.
They start out their interactions with a level of caution on both sides. Neither of them really sure how to bridge the gap but trying, building their interactions from ground zero, a fresh start.
The FMC is confident and unsure at times. The way she responds and interacts with the MMC is relatable to anybody that was teased or picked on growing up. When the pregnancy comes to light, the way she’s feeling and processing struck a chord with me. Pregnancy can me nerve-wracking and that initial finding out phase is at times hard mentally, physically, & emotionally. The author does a great job portraying this.
The MMC is not what I expected. From the beginning he’s cautious. He’s thoughtful. Caring. Confident. Mischievous. It’s obvious he’s not a kid anymore. He’s there for the FMC from the very beginning, trying to make amends, & being supportive and caring as their relationship develops.
Their initial conflict from childhood resolves fairly quickly. Amends are made. I would’ve liked more of an explanation for why the MMC behaved that way as a child to the FMC. Though, the amends brought them both closure, I felt like Cassie deserved more of an explanation for years of mistreatment. That’s just my opinion.
It’s a good read. Well-written. There’s not a lot of sex scenes but the ones that are tie into the story and Cassie and Blake’s relationship progression really well.

This is a second chance romance at its finest. Cassie Thompson is coming back to New York for work. Cassie will be the sport commentator for the New York Infernos, an NHL team. One problem. Her brother’s best friend and Cassie’s worse enemy, Blake Evans, plays for the Infernos. Cassie was so upset by the way that Blake treated her that she stayed away from him for the past 10 years. Because of that, Cassie did not realize how much Blake’s life had changed. Blake was now a widow with a little girl, Emma. Mike, Cassie’s brother and Blake’s father help take care of Emma. Can Cassie forgive Blake for what he did?

Both Blake and Cassie notice the changes in the other. Has Blake changed enough for Cassie to forgive him? It’s hard to forget even if she can forgive. Blake is so apologetic and who could resist his daughter. Cassie is thrown into the mix with Blake still vying for her forgiveness. This book weaves family and love together. A sincere apology goes a long way. I really enjoyed the genuine connections portrayed in this book. I understood how the characters felt. On top of all of that, the New York Infernos are making a run for the Stanley Cup. There is a lot going on. Ms. Landon keeps her readers interested with a genuine story that will tug on their heartstrings.

Triplets for my Pucking Enemy by Lexi Landon is a enemies to lovers, second chance romance. This author is a go to for me as I know that in the end there will be a happily ever after. I read this book in about a day and it made me feel all types of things. I could relate to Cassie with being bullied and having it affect you in such a way. Blake having had his circumstances change by having a daughter realize what he has done and needs to apologize and fix it. I enjoyed reading these characters because it felt so real with the emotions and the journey that they go through. I just loved the whole second chance element as it pertained not only to friendship but love as well. I thought the writing was good, it made me root for these characters. The plot was interesting and steady with it life like situations. If you enjoy enemies to lovers, second chance romance and a surprise pregnancy then this is the book for you. I would recommend checking out this author and all of the books especially if you like stories with happily ever afters.

Just too spicy 🌶️. It was addicted and it was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intriguing. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Blake was NHL players. Cassi came back to her hometown to work with her childhood bully who was her brother’s best friend. She never thought or dreamed that she be working for him in this moment and it was mind blowing. Their chemistry between them was captivating and sexual tension and the physical attraction was like a rollercoaster ride together. One night with him will change her life forever as they couldn’t fight the temptation any longer. Now she can’t believe that she will faced a surprising fate that will change both their lives now. Could this be love for the both of them in this moment. Will he be able to take the news of her pregnancy? Will he be there for her right now in this moment.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones

- Hockey romance
- Single father
- Enemies to lovers
- Brother's best friend

This is a steamy redemption story featured in the world of hockey. Blake and Cassie grew up together. After all, Blake is Cassie's brother Mike's best friend. But Cassie and Blake were absolutely not friends. Blake enjoyed picking on Cassie to the extent that after high school, she left town and asked her family not to mention him again.

Now 10 years later, Cassie has returned home to be a sports reporter for the hockey team. She tries to avoid Blake, but she sees him and his young daughter while she is at an event. Blake seems genuinely sorry for the way he acted as a youngster and tries to make amends with Cassie.

As things do, once they start spending more time together, they realize they have a connection. But when Cassie finds out she is carrying his babies, have they fixed their relationship enough to plan for a future family?

Cassie was bullied by her brother’s best friend. She was so traumatised that she left for college, banning her family to speak Blake’s name to her, and didn’t return for many years.
Blake is surprised when he sees Cassie and knows he has a lot to make up for, starting with an apology. However, it’s hard to apologise to someone who avoids him!
This was such a great read: Cassie is badly affected by her young life and it takes persistence to break through the walls she has built around herself; Blake, now a father, bends over backwards to make things right with Cassie. His daughter is such a delight and a blessing to everyone who interacts with her.
This was a wonderful second chance story, a second chance at friendship first and then romance.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Blake and Cassie's story

I enjoyed reading Blake and Cassie's journey from enemies to lovers.
Blake, a professional hockey player, has been best friends with Mike, Cassie's brother, since they were children. Blake bullied Cassie so badly during their teen years that she barred him from her father's funeral and refused to visit his dying mother because he was there.
10 years later, they meet again and slowly grow to care for each other.
Once Cassie's brother discovers that they are dating, he becomes irate and won't speak to either for weeks. What doesn't make sense is why he would have tolerated Blake's terrible treatment of Cassie when they were teens, but now he is so protective.
Regardless, their love grows, although Cassie's refusal to share her pregnancy with Blake almost costs his career goal and their future. Love prevails.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

This is Brothers Best Friend, Enemies To Lovers, Single Dad & Surprise Pregnancy.
Cassie has tried to stay away from Blake for the past 10 yrs. When they were younger he used to bully her and she moved away to college and never see him again. Now she is working for the Infernos. The Hockey team Blake plays for.
Things have changed. Blake is a single dad after losing his wife. Also realised how he was unkind to Cassie. He is determined to apologise in every way and show her how he has changed.
He does a great job in grovelling and redeeming himself. Their chemistry is very hot and the spice is sizzling.
I loved the relationship Cassie builds with his daughter too. But now a surprise pregnancy might just destroy everything they have built.
Great found family, drama, humour, emotional and love.

This hockey romance brings unexpected depth. Cassie Thompson, a dedicated sports journalist, has recently moved back home to cover the New York Infernos. The last person she wants to deal with? Blake Evans—her brother’s best friend and childhood tormentor.

Blake, however, is a changed man, determined to prove to Cassie that he regrets their past. What starts as reluctant professional interactions slowly evolves into something more. Cassie is surprised by the man Blake has become, especially as a devoted father, and she gradually opens up, allowing their connection to deepen.

Set against the backdrop of the fast-paced hockey world, this novel delivers all the heat and action you’d expect from the genre, while also surprising with its emotional depth. A story of love, friendship, and redemption—totally enjoyable!

Blake regrets how he had always treated or rather mistreated his best friend's sister when they were growing up. Cassie has always hated Blake and can't believe she'll have to work with him. Blake is now a single father to a beautiful little girl and realizes how cruelly he had treated Cassie. Can Cassis believe that Blake has changed? The more time they spend together, the feelings between them grow more intense. This is a second chance, enemies to lovers story that proves some people can change for the better, and when they do, some surprising and amazing events can happen. Lexi Landon did an incredible job on the storyline.

Thanks to the author, who gave me an advance copy of this book. I am willingly leaving a voluntary, honest review.

Not bad, but not great

This was easy to read, and the author is a talented descriptive writer. However, I had a hard time believing that Cassie never knew that Blake had been married, his wife died in childbirth, and that he had a daughter. He was her brother’s best friend, so I just don’t see how it never came up?? Also, the story mentions his prior wife passing in childbirth, and then it’s never spoken about again. I feel like Blake would have some nerves and fear about the woman he loves pregnant with three babies after childbirth killed his first wife. The title suggests the pregnancy is a big part of the story, but it doesn’t happen until the latter part of the book. Just some of my thoughts🤷🏻‍♀️

Cassie works in sports journalism, she went into a gala by a sports time media she took her brother for a plus one. There they met her brother’s best friend, her former bully ,he used to play pranks on her the last one was at her prom and she erased him from her life.
he brought his 5year old daughter with him, he was a widower.
He changed alot and knew that he made alot of mistakes, one day before practice she made him a small interview and he gave her a peck on the face, once he helped her carry her belongings to her brother’s place, he was doing everything to make her forgive him.
One day he asked her for dinner date .
Would she forgive him?

It’s a great book that I loved reading.
The writing is good enough that you don’t see the end coming.
Highly recommended

Cassie and Blake

This was a really good story about two people growing up and finding out they still had a connection, although not the same kind as they had when they were in school. Blake was Cassie’s bully. As well as her big brother’s best friend. He made her life miserable and a living hell when they were younger. She carried that trauma with her for a very long time. fast-forward years later when they run into each other, Blake is a single dad with a young daughter and he realizes how terrible he had been to Cassie and he wants to make amends. What he didn’t count on, was falling in love with her and creating an instant family of theee babies. This story was very good. It was sweet romantic and moved along well.

Blake was Cassie’s nemesis and bully when she was young, despite being her brother’s best friend. But time and life have changed Blake. Having a daughter caused him to look at himself and realize how he would feel if someone bullied his daughter the way he had treated Cassie. It was a wake up call. Cassie is a successful sports reporter and, despite their history, she sees Blake has changed and grown into someone she can respect and, eventually, love. It was a sweet and moving story. They get a lot thrown at them, but they fight through and come out more committed than before. Satisfying read.

3 Star

I enjoy this trope. The story was easy to read.
Blake was Cassies childhood bully and moved away around 10 years earlier for college. After accepting a dream job, Cassie is back.
Personally, for this to be a 4/5 star, I would have liked the pregnancy to have happened earlier, seeing Cassie and Blake deal with their relationship along side of pregnancy and then the 3 babies. From the title, this story suggests this is the main forcus. However, Cassie doesn't become pregnant until 66% into the book, with the babies being born within the epilogue, which was disappointing.

Cassie had a bully all through school, her brother's best friend. He was a horrible person and tormented her forever. Cassie left for college and became a professional journalist in sports. Blake, said nemesis, is on a hockey team that may take the Stanley Cup and Cassie is the journalist who will be interviewing all of the players. Cassie is living with her brother Mike who is still best friends with Blake and his daughter. Cassie is letting Blake get a little closer as the interviews keep going on. Then they begin dating. Who knew he was such a nice guy?

Second Chance Apology

What a tense beginning for Cassie and Blake as years of bullying left her traumatized. Now that Cassie has returned and needs to work with Blake, her reluctance to trust and accept his apology takes some time to develop. It was a great second chance story, especially how driven he was to prove he has changed. I really enjoyed the plot and its characters! Explosive chemistry added a sense of excitement and joy to this read.

Well written story and well developed characters. Those are the most important things, to me, in a book. This on grabbed my interest and kept it from the beginning, all the way to the end.
He was a terrible bully to her in school. For all the years. Now he says that he has changed and wants a chance. Can she trust him? Has he really changed? He was such a big bully! Now?!! Can she give him a chance or not?

A sweet book. Not much drama.

The only thing I side eye is the fact that H’s bff was also h’s brother. How in the heck did the brother put up with H bullying his sister all those years? Clearly everybody in the family knew he was a horrific bully to h over the years. But the brother stayed his BFF? 🤷‍♀️

The brother gets mad because they are now sleeping together but he didn’t get angry when his sister was being bullied? Makes no sense

-A redemption romance where childhood enemies get a second chance at love. Blake, once Cassie’s relentless bully, is now a changed man, determined to prove he’s worthy of her trust. As a sports journalist, Cassie is forced to face him again, leading to unexpected chemistry.

Blake was the best friend of Cassie's older brother, Mike. All through grade school and high school, Blake had bullied and tormented Cassie with his actions. When Cassie graduated, she left town for 10 years. When she returned it was to find out that Blake was a widower with a little girl. Times have changed and so has Blake. Nice story with some spicy sex scenes.

I loved the idea of this but it was VERY difficult to connect with the characters. There was a lot of repetition and inconsistencies within the story. I feel this should have been edited more and better. Keep writing because the concept was great.

Complicated love

I enjoyed this storyline, but the female character was a bit so much in her head. And there was little emotional connection between the characters.

Other than and how the overall storyline was amazing and a good ending will definitely read the next book
