In "Snow" part 5, Batman's first confrontation with Victor Fries a.k.a. Mr. Freeze comes to a bone-chilling conclusion! And what will Batman draw from his experiences with a strike force?

Gotham is under 18 inches of snow, the bad guys are out causing havoc. Batman realises his car is useless due to the weather so he puts on skis and ear warmers to chase down Mister Freeze. 😆
It's this occasional dip into silliness that I need to embrace more. In previous runs it took me out of the story, here it made me smile.
I thought this story was really good. Exciting panels featuring fights and plenty of ice and frozen victims. I like that Mister Freeze exists purely because he loves his wife so very much (and his colleagues were going to go behind his back, but that's a lesser reason for me). The way she appears to him as some ghostly princess shows how much he thinks of her.
I guess Gordon/Batman falling out then collaborating again is a theme throughout the years. I like their relationship with Gordon still being one of my favourite characters.
The 'Bat-Squad' felt like a wasted opportunity. I'm interested to see if they appear in future stories.
