Prior to starting his storytelling business, Philipp worked for almost a decade at Uber, Bain & Company, and Blackstone. He discovered his passion for performance arts (acting, improv., and storytelling) during his time in New York while completing his MBA at Columbia University. Over the past year, he has published his book The StorySelling Method and has given a TEDx talk on The Secret to Building Confidence.

I chose this book to learn about the various forms of storytelling and their practical applications. Philipp Humm does an excellent job of decomposing the craft of storytelling into manageable, straightforward steps. Because the exercises and examples are realistic, it's easy to start using the techniques right away. I particularly enjoyed how he demonstrates that stories can be used to establish connection and trust in addition to being used to sell goods. This book is ideal for sales professionals, particularly those who wish to stand out and leave a lasting impression. All in all, it's a very helpful and perceptive guide that I will most certainly use again.
I love a non-fiction book that’s precise and on-point.
This book adds no fluff around what it intends to teach. this is why it’s short and I love it for this reason.
One of those books that you might want to keep next to your work desk to remind yourself that you need to work on your storytelling and refer when necessary.
I like the book in many ways, good easy and intresting to read, insightful... but personally I feel this is a specific book for specific audience who are into sales though general audience can read, still suggested for sales people
