That might be one of the hottest, filthiest things I’ve ever read. And I’m not complaining at all.
Don’t let “Christmas” in the title make you think it’s a Christmas story. Because it’s not. Well, it takes time around Christmas, but it’s not the main focus. And when I say the smut was filthy, it was.
I loved both main characters. Even though Beckham pissed me off a bit with his pushing away from her in the beginning. But I love how Hennessy never gave up and kept him on his toes constantly. She was the main pursuer, but it doesn’t mean Beckham didn’t want her. He did, he was obsessed with her, but he stayed away just because Hennessy’s father told him to. That’s my main reason for not giving it 5 stars. I cannot stand when the mmc says he needs to stay away from the fmc. No, you don’t. Fortunately, he took his head out of his ass quite quickly and nothing could stop him from taking what he wanted.
Smut was everything. My personal favourite was one of their first times, because of the questionable use of his tie 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 That was so fucking filthy, and I enjoyed it way too much. I don’t even want to think how many times I reread those few chapters. Don’t get me started on some other things I love in smut. Just yes, thank you.
Not much for the real plot, but I enjoyed it quite a lot.

I finished this quick, fun, and spicy holiday read, and I had a blast! I finished it in under three hours and honestly enjoyed every moment. Hennessy has had a crush on Beckham for ages, but he's much older and her dad's biggest rival, so it seems like they could never be together. Fast forward to a conference years later, and Hennessy decides to go after him with everything she's got. At first, Beckham keeps trying to push her away, but deep down, he can't deny that he's drawn to her too, and they end up having some steamy nights together.
I had so much fun watching Hennessy's bold pursuit of Beckham! She knows how to flirt, gets him all worked up with jealousy, and just keeps pushing his buttons. It’s great to see her confidence and how she goes after what she wants. Beckham might try to resist her, but he’s not fooling anyone—he can’t stop thinking about her! The way he reacts when other men look at her, how jealous and protective he gets, is so entertaining. I loved how obssessed and possessive he was toward her.
Overall, this book is perfect if you're in the mood for something quick, light, and spicy. The age gap, the forbidden romance, and all the sneaking around make it so much fun! There are plenty of steamy scenes that are definitely hot. This book is a prequel to a new series, and now I can’t wait to read the first book when it comes out next year!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. This one of the most breathtakingly beautiful Christmas romances I’ve read. I’m so in the Christmas spirit right now, after staying up all night reading this! The perfect amount of holiday vibes, flirty banter and filthy smut.
I love hockey romances and coaches are top tier in the hockey romance world . He’s very grumpy and domineering,and all about discipline, but there’s one girl who makes him lose all control. A one night stand at a Christmas conference and after that how could he stay away? The plot was fun and exciting. The right amount of push and pull near the start and just downright sweetness when they actually start dating. I loved Hennessy. She’s a fierce woman who knows what she wants and goes to get it, but I also love how she won’t take his shit if he’s not committed. And Beckham… *proceeds to faint and swoon* has climbed my book boyfriend list. He’s so possessive, hot and sweet at the same time. And he YEARNS like his life depends on it! Beckham and Hennessy truly are a couple that shine so super bright together. There’s a major sense of family and togetherness in this book. He’s been alone for a long time, and she comes in with all her Christmas cheer and family traditions. It’s so beautiful watching her light up his light. And her entire family dynamic is adorable and hilarious, her Abeula made me cackle out loud so many times. My only wish is that there was a scene with Beckham and his rival Javi, that would taken this book to God tier. Nevertheless this book was a masterpiece, and if you love hockey and Christmas, THEN PLS READ THIS. I give this a 5/5

I’m pretty sure I spent 80% of this book blushing like l’d swallowed a whole kettle of holiday cheer. Zero chill. None. I devoured it in one sitting because putting it down simply wasn’t an option. I’m calling it now, I’m feeling bold….this is officially my favorite holiday read of the season.
Coach Kingston and Hennessey? Utter and complete Perfection. The tension, the heat, the slow burn that wasn’t really slow but more like Coach playing a little hot & cold, and the banter…I needed more. Coach’s grumpy energy paired with Hennessey’s bratty, feisty spark? Hooked me completely. And don’t even get me started on the forbidden vibes…older man, her dad’s rival, snowed in at a hockey conference? YES, PLEASE. Someone sign me up for that blizzard immediately.❄️🏒

OMG!!!
So received this as an ARC and let me just tell you that this book was so damn good. It was everything!!! The characters were amazing. We had Beckham, the older and grumpy hockey coach, and we had Hennessy, the confident and strong FMC who is also Beckham’s rival hockey coaches daughter. She was enamored with Beckham for 6 years and he was enamored with her for 3 years. Their infatuation had plenty of time to stew before it reached an explosion. Love that! The way she pursued this man is so endearing. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. What a badass! Bless Beckham’s heart when this poor man was trying to fight the feelings he was having for Hennessy. That man was fighting a losing battle.These poor naiive men crack me up. The plot just developed from there and I was eating it up.
Ultimately, the story was great. It held my attention the entire time. I was so invested to see what would happen with him and his rival finding out about their relationship. It had me stressing. But the book had a great HEA and the epilogue was adorable.

Who doesn’t love a grumpy man with a feisty woman? Beckham Kingston is probably the grumpiest man I have ever read bc he did not go soft at all for Hennessy. Nope, this man was still even grumpy for her and she loved it. Hennessy pushed this man’s buttons so much and that is how she got away with it, bc he was so grumpy.
Beckham may be her father’s rival, but Hennessy has had her eyes set on Beckham Kingston for a long time… what she doesn’t know is that he has also had his eyes set on her. These two had explosive chemistry and I caught myself laughing out loud at how much this girl poked the bear to get a reaction out of him. All I kept thinking was that Hennessy was a menace.
I love a good holiday, feel good book but add in hockey and age gap, game over for me. All that combined is perfect. And the spice was definitely spicing bc Beckham has an absolutely filthy mouth.

If you are looking for a forbidden, age gap love story that serves high spice look no further than this book because Kingston and Hennessy bring being snowed in to a whole other level in A Very Sinful Christmas.
He’s a grumpy hockey coach, she’s his rival’s daughter, he knows they shouldn’t be together, she’s determined to make it happen and make him lose control. When he finally snaps be prepared for the heat to turn up ten fold. Between the tension between them, to their chemistry and fun banter, you can expect plenty of hot (or extremely hot) moments but also some sweet ones. I have to say that I’ll honestly never look at a candy cane the same way!
This was a fun one!

Such a sweet, slightly angsty, and super spicy read!
If you need a quick read for the holidays that gets you hot, this is your book! I am OBSESSED with Hennessy and Beckham.
There is a slight bit of angst due to Beckham and Hennessy’s father being long time enemies. Beckham tries so hard to do what he perceives as the right thing. But that chemistry can’t be stopped.
The spice is absolutely delicious and includes some of my absolute favorite kinks! This was just an all around fantastic read.

This is my new definition for fire and ice! This was such a hot hockey read, I absolutely loved it.
Beckham was the perfect growly grump right from the beginning and I liked that they established that the forbidden element between him and Hennessy wasn’t simply due to their age difference but also had to do with his rivalry with Hennessy’s dad.
Hennessy was just confidence and swagger all the way! I thought she was such a fun FMC and I wish we had gotten to see a bit more of what she did for work because I thought it was very interesting.
This was just a really fun and sexy time and I think a lot of people who are into age gap and hockey romances should absolutely check this out!

Beckham was the perfect growly grump right from the beginning and I liked that they established that the forbidden element between him and Hennessy wasn’t simply due to their age difference but also had to do with his rivalry with Hennessy’s dad.
Hennessy was just confidence and swagger all the way! I thought she was such a fun FMC and I wish we had gotten to see a bit more of what she did for work because I thought it was very interesting.
This was just a really fun and sexy time and I think a lot of people who are into age gap and hockey romances should absolutely check this out!

Well Havoc, you have certainly caught my attention and I will definitely be reading your books now.
This book is exactly what the title says, Very Sinful. If you want heating up then this book will definitely do that and more 🥵. This is not for the innocent and check TW regarding the kinks, again not for everyone. I don't think I have read a book that has got me to the point with such filthy words and scene 🙈. Coach King was hot, hot and obscenely hotter. I couldn't get enough of him and Hennessy.
This is Age Gap (20yrs),Dad's enemy, Hockey, snowed in, close proximity and so forbidden.
Hennessy has always had her eye on Beckham, even though he is older and her dad's enemy. But he has kept his distance.
Beckham notices her but will not go there because her father ruined his career and he dislikes him,plus she is too young for him.
It wasn't until they're at a Hockey conference and she is part of the media team there. She pushes his buttons until he snaps. But he can't want more, just once and that will be it. I did find at times he frustrated me with all the back and forth and mix signals he kept giving her. She was an absolute saint for keep fighting for him to give in.
The sneaking around, the chemistry and the hot scenes were written perfectly 👏🏼. I felt all the emotions through the words, the excitement, sadness, happiness and pure giddiness.
He was king of possessiveness. Once he was all in, man was absolutely possessed and falls hard.
But will he be able to look beyond his rivalry with her father to keep her forever?
Although there was a lot of spice, their was still a storyline in the background. I loved that she had 2 strong women in her life giving her strength to be just as strong like them. Loved her Abuela, woman has no filter. Fantastic Christmas Novella, specially for my Spice Lover followers.

Well yes please to the all the candy candy deliciousness that is this Christmas novella! Coach Beckham Kingston is the epitome of grump, hard faced coach who from the moment he sees his arch rivals daughter Hennessy is as down bad obsessed as a man can possibly be with her! He knows he shouldn’t want her- he’s 20 years her senior, plus the fact that Hennessys dad ended Beckhams hockey career after blowing out his knee during a hockey game and they’ve been enemies ever since. Three years pass after their initial interaction before they meet again properly at a Hockey conference where Hennessy is working for a media team covering the conference and where coach is with his team. She’s also had an infatuation with Beckham for as long as she can remember and decides she wants to test the field and see if she can have a little fun with him and claim him for the weekend. Whilst Coach Beckham tries to resist her charms, beauty and sass as best he can, in the end he just can’t keep his hands off of her!!! And try as he might to do the right thing and tell her it won’t happen again he just can’t get her out of his head. Hennessy tells Beckham to decide what he wants, to stop blowing hot and cold with her, and with that, it takes a young guy trying to hit on Hennessy for him to claim her as his own. Very publicly! Coach Beckham growling ‘mine’ was a total swoon worthy moment for me when he decides he’s had enough of trying to pretend he doesn’t want all of her. There’s a whole lot of spice and delightful possessiveness, a tonne of sexual tension with longing and want from both of these two to keep you on your toes. And not to mention a sprinkling of breeding kink to add into the mix, whilst also throwing in some fun times with a candy cane underneath the Christmas tree and you’ve got a perfectly wrapped up, spicy and addictive holiday novella that will have you grinning from ear to ear once these two get it together.. Beckham Kingston and Hennessey Vega story was everything I needed and more! I love that Havoc writes her stories in an universal style. You're always able to catch up with her characters.
Hennessy is the daughter of Beckham's rival, the one who ended his hockey career. Beckham is the hockey coach at St. Charles and during a charity game, he locks eyes with Hennessey. Her dad catches him and warns him to stay away.
3 years later at a hockey convention, thanks to a mistletoe and a blizzard, 23 year old Hennessey pursues Beckham, who is 43 and gets what they both always desired. He is known for his grumpy, broody, and short temper attitude. And she is stubborn, confident and she wants that side of him. He may practice control, but she wants to push him until he can't control himself.
Beckham trying to be a gentleman and taking into consideration her dad and his 25 year old grudge he tells her they couldn't continue seeing each other.
When they return he can't get her off his mind. Running into each other they decide to try and take it slow, but when Beckham realizes how men flirts and states at Hennessey, something snaps and he can't help his protectiveness and the way he gets primal with her. Not wanting to chance losing her, he confesses to her his feelings, not caring about what her dad thinks.

Wow. Simply wow. This is the first book I have read from Havoc and it certainly won't be the last, her writing style is so easy to get on with and the plot and characters are utter perfection! The tropes in this book had my jaw dropping to the floor throughout the book, I was stunned in the best way!
I loved how this book came together so much! Hennessy pursued Beckham like there was no tomorrow during a hockey conference to the point he had no choice but to give in to her which was simply amazing and then by luck the both of them ended up being stuck in the hotel for a few days during a blizzard. Gotta love the Christmas magic that time of the year brings.
I was so unsure of how things would pan out but Havoc did it so well in the book, I was hooked onto every page, the angst between the two of them practically radiating off the page each time. I would definitely say that it is not a smooth ride to get to the ending we received, it was definitely a very bumpy road with all things considered as nothing would ever just play out perfectly with the tropes we had in this book and the forbidden aspect of it!
Rival's daughter who is 19/20 years younger than you is crazy but for Hennessy and Coach Beckham Kingston, it is perfection and works perfectly for them both. This was my first book by Havoc Wilde and it will definitely not be my last. I found this author through another author that I really have enjoyed and them having a shared world together is perfection. The fact they have weaved this world so seamlessly is chefs kiss. I cannot wait to see what other character stories will be coming out of this shared world. What I do know is that I am here for it and ready. I have enjoyed these extremely possessive, obsessive, and over the top alpha males. In this story I loved that Hennessey was more the aggressor in the situation. She knew exactly what she wanted and she did everything she could to breakdown Beckham's walls. She knows that her dad hates him but she doesn't care. In her eyes Beckham belongs to her and with her. Obviously they go through some battles to get to that HEA we all love so much but I tell you what they have fantastic chemistry. The moments they have together are spicy. We should all be so lucky as to have a man like Coach Beckham in our lives. I really enjoyed that Hennessey was an alpha type female character. There are not many that take what they want and do what is in their power to get what they want. From the moment she saw Beckham she knew in her soul that he was hers. They just had to navigate life to get to the point that they could be together forever. Oh and don't get me started on the spice in this book. Coach did not come to play at all. He came to devour what was his. If you love a good hockey romance with a guarenteed HEA this is the book for you.

I’m currently in my spicy Christmas book era and this one did not disappoint! Which let’s be real, none of Havoc’s books disappoint. Sometimes I’m not a huge fan of the age gap difference trope, especially when the MMC could technically be the FMC’s daddy. BUT this one was soooo good.
Beckham Kingston and Javier Vega have been arch enemies for nearly 20 years. Both on the ice and off. So when Beckham saw Vega’s daughter Hennessy, he knew things were about to get so much worse because Hennessy was the girl that brought Beckham to his knees at first sight. But because of the age difference, and her dad being Javier, he did everything in his power to stay away.
That is until they ended up at the same hockey conference weeks before Christmas. The second Beckham saw Hennessy, he knew his restraint at keeping her away was about to snap. And boy did it snap!
The sexual tension between Hennessy and Beckham was so intense and when she pushed him too far, he said F it and took exactly what he’s been wanting for years. Her. Sparks flew and there was no going back for either of them. Especially when they got snowed it at the hotel after the conference was over. Beckham thought one night would be enough, but all it did was make him even more obsessed with her.
Then when he found out that she lived near his campus where he coached the hockey team, he threw caution to the wind and went all in on making her his.

It was refreshing to see a FMC obsessed and persue the MMC as well. I also loved how much she pushed and annoyed Beckham as well, often times it made me laugh 😂

Hennessy counter balances incredibly well with her fiery attitude, strong work ethic, loyalty to not only her family but finally herself, and ability to clap back when and where it needs to happen. Together, they make some real holiday magic in this book! The chemistry is so intense, and the spicy scenes are melt your kindle like it was roasting along with the chestnuts hot.
I will say, I found the writing a bit repetitive, A few different phrases were recycled through the book too many times for as short as it was( I get heat down to my core for a growly man too. But I feel like we were trying to hit a quota for how many times we could actually interchange him "saying" something with him "growling" something). Just a couple of examples, I still ate this feast of a story up like it was my last dinner, and I was a starving man!
