Romano Enterprises have been making contracts for years under Tony’s authority. As much money as they put out, they bring even more in. Which is why they have a division that Tony entrusted to Jack. This division was to get people into the town or a way to help them earn some extra money. Jack has the authority to make contracts, and those contracts include making loan offers, and these offers don’t always have to be paid back in cash. Stephanie, 18, fresh out of high school, is trying to help her mom. Payments are getting behind, and her little sister is in the hospital, with even more bills piling up. Already struggling to keep up with two jobs, Stephanie keeps looking and gets an interview. After a one-time trial and a 10K payout, she agreed to a six-month contract. How bad could it be? Bad… Painfully bad… But what happens when the little innocent submissive takes over the dark master’s heart?
I doubt you would go as far as Stephanie. This young woman knew she was willing go do anything and he new bosses are going to test her limits. Jack is a man of many pleasures and plans on testing everyone's limits. Could use another round of editing. There were some typos. This did not take from the story. This book it spice focused. Follow Stephanie's journey from naive to confident and empowered.
Stephanie's life is falling apart. With bills piling up and her sister fighting for her life, she signs a high-paying contract to fulfill the darkest desires of three powerful strangers, Jack, Mason, and Carrie. She’s not prepared for how far the job will push her body, mind, and limits, in a world of control, submission, and brutal pleasure. What starts as a desperate move to save her family turns into something darker and twisted—and far more personal.
Jack is cold, commanding and controlling, Carrie is jealous and ruthless, and Mason… Mason is different. Gentle, even loving—until he isn’t. As she’s pushed to her limits, Stephanie learns how to endure in a world designed to break her... and then how to take back control. Stephanie's role shifts from survival to power plays, from pain to pleasure, from silence to control, from submissive to someone who commands attention and power. Along the way, Stephanie discovers a deeper connection with Jack—and a buried secret about her past that ties them together in ways she never expected.
But as always, Siobhan, the woman who really runs things, controls everything from contracts to punishments, from pleasure to justice. She sees something in Stephanie. Potential. Strength. Fire. Not just a submissive, but a leader in a world where pain and pleasure collide.
From violent betrayal to unplanned love, from underground games to secrets buried in family ties, an intense, steamy, explicit, emotionally charged, dark horror-romance erotica, exploring power, survival, identity, consent, trauma, betrayal, healing, dominance, strength, and the gray lines between pleasure and pain, diving deep into what it means to choose submission, reclaim control, and navigate relationships built on extremes. Take heed if you do have triggers - the "Living In Weedleton" series is Dark, with a capital D. Too many triggers to list them all, but there will be non-con/dub-con, SA, dark sexual content (extreme BDSM, rough sex, extreme dominance and submission), power imbalances, manipulation, trauma, public humiliation, voyeurism / exhibitionism, and violence.
Stephanie signs up for a “contract” and quickly learns that Jack’s definition of work is a whole other category of employment. Jack’s cold precision had me instantly hating him, then begrudgingly curious. Mason came off softer at first, which made his switch-ups hit harder. Carrie brought the claws, and not in a subtle way. The pacing didn’t waste time dragging out the setup, it dove right into the twisted dynamics. The writing doesn’t shy away from making you uncomfortable, which is kind of the point here. I liked how Stephanie’s voice grew sharper the longer she was in this world. Still, I wanted a bit more clarity on Siobhan’s role because she clearly runs everything but stays in the shadows. It’s gritty, harsh, and not trying to be pretty.
Book six in the Living in Weedleton series of a dark taboo town where everyone hides something forbidden. Stephanie wants to help pay the bills, but doesn’t get the job she’s applied for. Jack comes up with another type of job for her that far exceeds the amount of cash she needs, so she signs the contract. Another great installment to the series, just as dark and twisted as the rest.

Book six in Living in Weedleton Series! Stephanie, Jack, Mason and Carrie. I hated Jack at first but then I ended up really liking him! It starts off Stephanie doing what she can to help her family. Then things started to take a turn but not necessarily for the worse. The spice is hot!! 🔥 Really enjoyed this book!
If you're here you've made it halfway through this emotionally traumatic series. The twists and intense dark erotic horrors continue. This story revolves around Stephanie and the awful things she's put through because of a deal she made with Jack.
Siobhan is still pulling the strings being her queen self.
This series is intense and the characters continue to keep me shocked.
I thought this book was well written and I couldn't put it down and Heather Renee did it again and I can't wait to read more. This is the sixth book in this series. I recommend this book.
