An ARC received in exchange for an honest review
I absolutely love this rocker series!!! I've been waiting to get Gabe's story in my hands and I was not disappointed! Gabe Cross is the drummer for Double Cross. He is tattooed, sexy, alpha, and a sweetheart all rolled into one. I totally adore Gabe! Faith Maguire broke Gabe's heart years ago, and the pain is still there even though he doesn't let others see that side of him. Faith returns home to NC after being away for six years. She ends up working with the band and comes face to face with Gabe and the first time they see each other....WHOA!!! The chemistry these two have between them is off the charts! Being apart all those years did not extinguish the heat between them. Gabe and Faith have to learn how to work together and be civil with each other all while the sexual tension keeps building up. So what happens when the past collides with the present? Will Gabe and Faith be able to work through their issues? You will have to read it to find out! If you're looking for a good rockstar read, you will definitely enjoy this one! The writing is flawless and Paige Matthews does an excellent job! Definitely 5 stars!!!

Love this series.I could not wait to read Gabe's story. I really enjoy Gabe and Faith's story. It was crushing to see what happened to the couple and why they were not together. You can feel the sexual tension while u were reading and rooting for them to get back together. It was heart wrenching, funny, sexy, I can't get enough of these characters.

Past regrets play a huge part in this story, we see that no matter how much time has passed, feelings that have never really been quelled, will raise their head and refuse to be silenced.
Life should have been everything this young couple could have possible wished for six years ago when Gabe and the band were just about to make it big, they were in love and as happy as they could have possibly been but inside Faith was losing one thing – herself.
Faith broke Gabe’s heart when she ran, leaving him with nothing to go on and no chance of finding her – heartbroken he did his best to track her down but when his attempts proved fruitless, he locked his heartache inside and carried on with his life – never forgetting his woman.
Now, Six years later, their lives take a turn for the unexpected when Faith turns up on a job with the band.
Can they survive the pain that resurfaces?
Can they be this close to each other again and not combust!!!
Who knows but it sure is one hell of a ride to find out because the one thing that has not diminished over the 6 years is their reaction to each other, it is positively chemical – they are meant to be together but the pain that Faith caused Gabe when she left him has eaten and continues to eat away at him inside and he will be damned if he is going to let her do it to him again.
Gabe doesn’t play fair when it comes to being around Faith every day but they have to be professional and make the situation work.
Truth be told Gabe at times could be a bit of an arse and I could understand where he was coming from, she owed him a long overdue explanation.
They both had secrets that were long overdue for sharing!
But in the end he had to make a decision on what he wanted because the only person that he was hurting was himself, Faith had no power over him – only he did – he had the power to either move on or finally make her see that she was his woman – always!
The story evolved in such a way, that I could see that the love they had was always present but it took its time to resurface completely. Their passion was visceral – it oozed from the pages – it made me want to keep turning each and every page, it kept me awake until I had finished the last word with my fingers crossed hoping that they could find a way back to each other.
Paige Matthews has delivers a fantastic story of love lost and love found, about second chances at having your happy ever after.

Mistakes, Regrets and consequences. These are the words that will best describe this story, those words and then theses- Forgiveness, love and passion. In the end that is what this story is all about. Faith fell in love with the man of her dreams. He was achieving his dreams of becoming a rock star and taking off. She got scared of losing herself and of losing him to bitterness. So what does she do? She runs, runs so far and hides herself so well that he doesn't find her until 6 years later when she has a job to do with his band.
Gabe fell in love with the woman of his dreams at a young age and did the right thing, he married her. One day he wakes up and she is gone with just a note. He looked for her, but finally decided to live with the hole in his heart, until she shows up as the photographer for his tour.
Heartbreaking is tone of this book. Heartbreaking for him because he was suffering. Heartbreaking for her because she didn't wan to hurt him anymore. Heart breaking because the love they felt for each other had not diminished and now they were dealing with the consequences of that betrayal and hurt. But the passion that oozed from the pages as you read about the attraction that electrifies the air when they are near each other is amazing.
I love that no matter how destructive he becomes to himself he finally realizes that he needs to have her in his life to feel normal and happy.

Faith is a photographer who ran scared just when life was getting good. Afraid of the reality of being with a rock star caused her to completely get away and distance herself from everyone including her family.
"Why all of this? Why go through all the trouble?" I took another sip of my champagne.
"Because, I love you. How many times do I have to tell you that for you to believe me."
Avoiding the truths is the story of Gabe and Faith where they surprisingly cross paths and end up reuniting again via work. The tension and connection is undeniably there but unanswered questions of the past is what has been keeping them apart. There were so many OMG moments and the sexual tension is inevitable but the LOVE is always there. A great story of trying to move on and to reconnect in attempt to start over. Recommend read for everyone! This book has a little bit of everything and more that I could not put it down! If you loved Caleb in Crossover (Double Cross #1) then I have no doubt that Gabe will capture your heart too.

I didn't like the book. I typically don't want to read about sex scenes the hero has with other women unless there is a point to it. In other words maybe drama later. But even then I don't need detailed sex scenes that can describe that he can feel his cum filling up the condom. Really?! that is not sexy. It's filler. I am not a prude but I don't read the books just for sex. I read them for the story. So I expect there to be a point in having a sex scene. Not just to fill up space. When there is detailed sex scenes between the hero or heroine and another person I just feel like this book is a sex book and nothing else. That is not what I wanted to read .
To make my point. Five pages of reading about him getting on with a stripper. Three pages of him with some random chick in a club bathroom. This is two of the descriptive random sex acts with no point whatsoever hookups.

I have not read the first book in this series yet. However, the writing flowed very well and it was easy to follow along even without the back story between Caleb and Kat.
Gabe, along with Caleb and Jax, is one HOT alpha rocker. Faith left Gabe with no explanation or warning six years ago. Not even her brother Jax knows why she left. Kat books Faith to shoot photos of the group without realizing who she is. The buildup for Gabe and Faith's first face to face contact was palpable. The chemistry between these two is very steamy and keeps you turning the pages to see what is going to happen.
Both Faith and Gabe have secrets that need to be revealed before either one can heal.
This was my first book by Paige Mathews and it was very well written and hard to put down once I picked it up.

Crossover, the second book in P Sawyer's The Double Cross Series is a good rocker romance.
Faith and Gabe are reunited after she broke his heart and ran away years ago. Now that they are working together, the tension and heat are out in full force.
There are parts of this book that I love. The writing style sucked me in immediately, and the kept me intrigued throughout. I love the characters and their journey, yet I found myself struggling with the way they deal with some things. I just wanted things to simmer a little first. And I wanted them to talk.
Overall, Crossover is a fun second chance romance. However, be warned there is plenty of on page sex with other characters. It's never cheating, but shows the rocker lifestyle. I know some people hate reading sex scenes between a main character and a side character, so avoid if that's a hard limit for you.

Gabriel Cross is one quarter of the band Double Cross! He's a hardcore rocker and loves women....he's got a secret though... Enter Faith, Gabe's ex, who also has a secret. She's running from her past but, it's finally caught up with her. Faith and Gabe have a past and it's all going to be brought to the forefront and they'll have to confront their issues to even think about having a relationship again...
Totally loved this story! All of the characters are involved with each other and the story just flows. Descriptions are awesome and makes you feel like you're really there and the sex scenes are amazing!

I loved this book so much too. Those Cross brothers are hot as heck. And oh my do they know how to treat a lady in the bedroom. Omg! I have to admit I got really frustrated with Faith more than once. She hurt Gabe and her brother so badly. She was so stubborn I just wanted to shake her at times. Bit poor Gabe was one determined man that's for sure. He was not going to give up on the woman he arrived for the last six years. Such a great series. I would love a book about Jax and Reese. Great, hot rocker series. Loved it!

I loved this one.. Faith and Gabes story was awesome... although I was mad at how Gabe handle things Faith did what no woman should do and hurt him and I guess men handle things their own way. It was great having them all together and being a family. Gotta love the rock God's. I hope had gets his story.

The Cross Brothers Rock My World!
Another great book in the Double Cross series. Gabe Cross is one hot drummer! Love his dirty ways! This book had me on page one. Love rocker books and this series was hot! Great characters...spice and heat! Give me more Paige Matthews!
