A concise booklet which presents a complete practicing methodology for guitarists. Topics discussed include the concepts of inner and outer poise, issues affecting practice, visualization and much more.
I keep coming back to this short work because I can read it in about an hour. It's concise and doesn't throw a bunch of nonsense "this one trick" methods at the reader. The author addresses the how, what, and why of practice in a thoroughly objective manner without any quarter given to information you wouldn't need. This book is helpful to anyone, not just guitarists - I am applying the same principles to learning a new language and would recommend this for anyone interested in laser-focusing their methods.
I think this book would be much more applicable if I was still in University, or a full time performing musician, but I find the information very practical and useful for students, as the name indicates.
