Michelle, you have managed to write yet another phenomenal book!
This took me back to high school in more ways than one. The heartbreak of first love gone bad, how easy it is to lose yourself in your significant other. Even more so when you're a teenager.
Michelle entwines the thoughts of a teenage girl so perfectly into the story. Sometimes, as we grow older, it's easy to lose the emotions of that age. Michelle executed it perfectly.
Gone is filled with heartbreak, healing, angst, more heartbreak, and overcoming it all. I give this book the full 5 amazing stars and it deserves every single one. On top of the emotion packed story-line, the writing style was the kind you get lost in and don't want to leave. All qualities of an amazing book.
Great job Michelle! I can't wait to read what's to come.

I loved this book. I really did. GONE was a quick read, but it took me on a journey and really taught me something about life.

The book starts off with Tess being dumped by her douchebag boyfriend. She has a thing for her best friend, but isn't quite over her ex. Drama ensues.

Even though Tess is in high school, I loved that Michelle Flick nailed the teenage voice without going overboard and getting too angsty. Tess was a main character I was happy to stand by. It made sense why she did things, even the not-so-smart things.

I'm not giving away the most important part of this story. The ending is amazing. It was emotional and really hit me hard. I feel like you just have to read it and experience this amazing book like I did.

Seriously, you will love this book!

Gone is a quick read with an encouraging message to anyone having a rough time. Although it is a young adult novel, it's really a story about something being "gone" and the human psyche's ability to bounce back.
Tess's roller coaster of emotions brought me back my my high school years and Michelle's clear and concise writing reminded me that I'm glad to have grown up and left high school! I don't miss the situations that Tess found herself in.
If you need an encouraging read that will remind you that everything is going to be ok, read Gone.

Slow paced. More about her next boyfriend then self discovery.
