My Pretty Little Rainbow was all thunder and lightning, with hair like a damn neon dream and a mouth that didn’t know when to quit. I bought a club in Boston to start over, to drown out the screams of my past with thumping bass and dim-lit pleasures. It was supposed to be simple—remodel the mess, retrain the staff, and open the doors. Then she took the stage. Now, we’re locked in a battle of wills, and I can’t decide if I want to pin her against the nearest wall or make her beg for mercy. Either way, she’s under my skin. Every time she flashes that defiant smile, I feel the world tilt on its axis, and I’m not sure if I’m falling for her—or falling apart. The more I push, the more she pulls. Into my club. Into my family. Into my life. She didn’t just torment me; she wormed her way into places I swore I’d let no one go. And damn it, she made me feel things I don’t have a name for. I didn’t deserve her; I knew that much. But when it came to Sloane? I had never been good at playing fair. Enemies. Lovers. Or something far more dangerous. When you dance with the devil, you don’t walk away unscathed. And if she isn’t careful, she’ll find herself tangled in the darkness I’ve tried so hard to hide. Because maniacs like me didn’t get to bask in the pretty rainbows of life. Did they?
All good things come to an end but I'm still going to cry ugly tears over the fact that this series is over.
But I am glad to finally see Tamen get his story and maybe earn himself a little redemption from his role in Psycho. Because let's be real, Stalker he intrigued us, Psycho we hated him, and well Bully we're riding that fine line of love and hate and definitely leaning more towards the love than hate. Ok I mean really my feelings for are similar to how I feel for my husband where I may want to throw hands sometimes but I'm not mad waking up next to him everyday. He's my favorite person to Bully, I mean banter with.
The break down is you are going to start reading and dive head first into the enemies to lovers trope. Tamen is going to fluff his feathers at Sloane who he has dubbed as his pretty little rainbow. Of course, it's instant hate for her since well 1. Hello Ego 2. He bought the club she was planning to purchase. So you know things are tense and by tense I mean there will be banter like no tomorrow. But thankfully our girl Sloane is fierce and can fight like the best of them. Of course let's not forget where there is hate there is some really good hate ... (you get what I'm saying 😉). I would say more but I don't want to give everything away.
So if you want banter, glory holes, and two characters that will keep you on your toes, a side of darkness, and great side characters I recommend first reading the first 2 books and then diving into Bully.
Hey before you go check the list before diving in because there are some topics that may not be suited for everyone.
Redemption for the worst villain. His story is gory and dark and twisted but he truly is the ultimate partner for our take no one’s crap but also revel in being the object of their desire. Her. And whatever and wherever she goes…. He wants to be there.
Since it is a Bulky romance- I would say hey heads up he actually does do some pretty terrible things to her. But never the less, she makes him pay.
SPICE but the tension is sooo good TOO! They say a hate and love walk a fine line & that’s exactly what our two here are up to.
Also - excellent job on the wrap up of these two characters.
GOOD BOY! Ok, reading this series is never would have imagined that Tamen would ever be a Good Boy! Tamen has been a character that u have been drawn to in this series, and I knew he had a lot of demons. Love that this centered around a swc club and the sex industry. Tamen sees Sloane one night at a club he was going to buy and that scene of him.watvhing her on stage while being serviced! HOTTTTT!!!!
After the shift, it a bounced he is the new owner, and Sloane is pissed because she was going to buy it and now This British, Hot Bully, is now her boss.
You see him do an overhaul to the club to bring it up to his caliber and make Sloane the manager, and they hate each other. The tension was so good. Ally knows how to write a hate to love relationship.
I love that she is a domme and also she has a praise kink. How she wants him to surrender to her and he is the ultimate alpha, but he is her good boy. Loved seeing the other couples and loved the girls' relationship.
Wanted a little bit more of his backstory, but Ally made Sloane a woman that when she stays, she gives it her all.
3.2⭐️ I love A.M McCoy and her books. But this one didn’t hit like I thought it would. I loved the first book in this series but the second and third, weren’t my favorite. I loved Sloane and her personality, she’s such a badass and Tamen is definitely a character. I love the story line and all the background but this felt a little too fast for me and it kinda ruined it a little. I wish the was a little more background on Tamen but he refused to talk about his family. I did love that Tamen gave up the control to Sloane. I feel like the marriage in Vegas was a quick way to wrap things up but I also didn’t expect anything else because it’s Vegas. But over all it was an adage 3.2 for me.
Took me a bit to get through but not because it was bad or anything I just wanted to savor Tamen Bryce & Sloanes relationship for as long as possible lol. Such a good way to end this series.
Glory, Glory Hole-aluhah….. Love Tamen and Sloans story. The big man with the dark past falls hard for the his Rainbow. The spice, and banter is top notch. A.M. McCoy has done it again!!!
📖REVⵊEW📖 Bully (The Line Walkers Book 3) by A.M. McCoy Sᴛᴏʀʏ: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sᴘɪᴄᴇ: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
HOLY BANTER AND SPICE! 🔥
I am OBSESSED with Tamen and Sloane! AM McCoy has done it again—honestly, she never misses in my opinion. She’s an auto-buy for me at this point; I don’t even care what the plot is because I know she’ll deliver every single time. And this Line Walker series? It’s easily one of my absolute favorites. But Bully? This one was so much more than I even expected. I knew I’d love it (hello, HOTNESS—British alphahole MMC?! Yes, please). But it was off-the-charts from start to finish: Bully was the absolute perfect deep dive into Tamen's chaos and Sloane is his perfect match.
Tamen is such an enigma—dark, dangerous, wickedly sarcastic, chaotic, and completely unhinged—but at his core, he’s got a heart of gold for the people he loves (he just never shows it). Watching his layers peel back was everything. The way he takes care of his circle—Dane, Peyton, Maddox, Liv, Rory—and even the girls at Prism (in his own chaotic, slightly unhinged way) had me hooked. But when his Rainbow—Sloane—becomes his obsession? That’s when he truly shines. He learns every piece of her, what makes her tick, and he uses it to shower her with pretty gifts, intense fantasies, and adventures that make her heart sing...all while being his dark, unhinged, alphahole bully self: sharp edges, dark desires, and touch-her-and-☠️ attitude.
Sloane is an ABSOLUTE BOSS 😎, flipping the script on its head in the best way. She’s powerful, confident, hilarious, and dominant in all the ways that keep Tamen grounded. Her confidence practically radiates off the page—like her rainbow hair under the Prism lights. She owns her kinks, her identity, and seriously one of the best strong FMC I've read to date. She isn't afraid of his darkness and takes zero crap from him. GOLD.
Tamen and Sloane's evolution from enemies to lovers is pure magic. Kudos to A.M. McCoy for nailing that balance between love and hate while delivering all the spice, alpha MMC, boss FMC, and even switch vibes I NEVER saw coming. The banter between Tamen and Sloane? Unmatched. Sass, laughs, and some serious "switch" energy that had me grinning like a feral reader. And the SPICE?! Holy HOTNESS. These two are relationship GOALS 🥵🌶️🔥 Plus, I loved how this story flipped off every stigma—whether it’s against S-workers, alpha men, powerful girlfriend groups—it was like one big, beautiful middle finger to judgment. AND I'M SO HERE FOR IT!
And can we talk about Dolly?! I already loved her, but this book? I need Dolly to get her own series ASAP. She’s the chaotic, feral post office lady of my dreams and absolute goals for life. I swear, even on the last page, I was still obsessed with her.
I won't lie, I'm pretty sad to see this Line Walker series end - I love these unhinged psychos lol. All three books have been phenomenal, but Bully gave us everything we craved about Tamen and then some. Make sure you check the menu for content notes (McCoy always delivers on that), but if you're ready for spice, chaos, and a love story that refuses to apologize for being loud and bold—this is it. I cannot love this series more, and I’m so grateful we finally got Tamen’s full story and he got his match in his strong and pretty Rainbow!
TROPES: 🌈Enemies to lovers 🖤Boss/employee 🌈Alpha-hole, bully boss (MMC) 🖤Strong and sassy FMC 🌈He falls first 🖤Touch her and ☠️ 🌈Switch energy 🖤Schmex club/S-worker representation 🌈LOTS of SPICEY spice! 🥵
This book was so much more than I thought it was going to be.
I was so intrigued by Tamen throughout the rest of the Line Walkers Series - his humor and sarcasm, his darkness paired perfectly with the others. But there was always something about him that left me wanting more, needing more.
And Bully was the absolute perfect exploration of Tamen, his story, and his future.
Tamen is such an enigma, dark and dangerous. So very sarcastic. But at his core he was a heart of gold for the people that he loves and cares for. It was so interesting to peel back his layers and watch him first hand take care of his circle of people. Not only his family - Dane, Peyton, Maddox, Liv, and especially Rory - but even the girls at Prism he takes care of (even its by driving them crazy and pitting them against each other). But when his Rainbow becomes his ultimate obsession that's when he truly shines.
He learns Sloane, what makes her tick, and takes advantage of it every chance that he can. He showers her with pretty gifts, the most intense fantasies, and opportunities and adventures that make her heart sing. He gives her praise and learns her deepest secrets, and never takes advantage of her. And as bad as he wants to be, when it comes to Sloane, he truly is willing to do absolutely anything to make sure that she's happy.
Sloane is so incredible. I loved her, so much. I'm a sucker for a sweet, shy, timid FMC. And Sloane is anything but that. She's powerful, confident, hilarious, and so very dominant. She is exactly what Tamen needs to keep him grounded. Her confidence radiates off the pages, just like her hair does in the lights of Prism. She embraces every aspect of herself, all of her kinks she displays proudly. She isn't ashamed to be exactly who she is, and I think she gave me a confidence boost while reading.
I loved her evolution with Tamen. As much as he needed her to ground him, she needed him to truly let go and be herself. Tamen gave her the courage to believe in herself, the confident business woman that was buried beneath the surface that she had been aching to be. And while she never lost her girl group from Prism - who I loved so much - she fit in so perfectly with Liv and Peyton. The dynamic between them 3 of them was absolutely everything, ganging up on Tamen, sharing family dinners, and sending each other gifts. She embraced Tamen's life in so many ways - and his family didn't disappoint in embracing her right back.
Watching them learn to love each other loudly, but also in the purest versions of themselves was truly amazing. Kudos to A. M. McCoy for yet another hit!
🖤 Boss x Employee 🖤 Instalust 🖤 Found family 🖤 Enemies to lovers 🖤 He falls first
Have you ever wondered about the complexities of the sex industry and the power dynamics that shape it? Well, buckle up, because Bully is a captivating read that takes you on a thrilling journey into this fascinating world.
Ally doesn’t hold back in exploring the intricacies of the sex industry. She presents characters with depth and motivations that go beyond the typical stereotypes. The dynamic between Sloane and Tamen is electric, filled with tension, witty banter, and an undeniable chemistry that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
You’ll find yourself rooting for Sloane, a strong and independent woman who embraces her power and freedom. But despite her strength, she struggles with internal conflicts and vulnerabilities, making her incredibly relatable to almost everyone, even in a world that might seem foreign to some readers.
And let’s not forget Tamen, a complex and enigmatic figure whose motivations are often shrouded in mystery. His interactions with Sloane are a masterclass in push & pull, creating a dynamic that is both frustrating and intensely alluring.
But Bully is more than just a story about sex. It’s a story about power dynamics, personal growth, and the search for connection in unexpected places. Ally’s writing is sharp, witty, and unapologetically honest, making this a book that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the final page.
The world is immersive and the characters are compelling, making it a highly recommended from me for anyone looking for a story that pushes boundaries and challenges expectations. So, dive into this captivating world and let their story unfold!
This is the 3rd book of the Line Walker Series and all 3 of these books did NOT disappoint. Definitely check out the menu to make sure you're comfy with everything discussed.
The back and forth between Sloane and Tamen is absolutely unmatched! Switch vibes, ALL the sass, and tons of even laughs in this book. As a bi woman, this book gives me allll the bi-panic. I mean, let's be real....all of Ally's books do lol. But I feel like there is so much in this book that takes stigmas from Sworkers, alpha males, girl friend groups, etc and give all the people that give them a negative connotation a big ole middle finger.
**possible spoil** Dolly is back and as if I couldn't love her more, this book definitely makes me want her own series!! She is definitely a supporting character that you can't forget or leave out, she is totally the coolest old lady and goals for life. Even until the last page - I'm obsessed with our feral post office lady and neeeeed all the tea.
MOST IMPORTANTLY... the spice was spicy, as it always is in A.M. Mccoy's books!! The switches in dynamic between Sloane and Tamen, the SWorker dynamic, and tons of booty play (on both sides....). I mean, (SPOILER) Tamen built her a whole stage!!! I cannot love this series more- I'm so glad we got a taste of Tamen in all 3 books, but EXTRA thankful we got his story in this one!
Ever since book one Stalker, when we had a sneak peak into who Danes brother was. I was hoping we would get his story. And it was worth the wait. All three books are fill with spice, fun banter between the characters as well ott unhinged MMCs who do alot of world burning for their women.
And this book is no different, so please read the triggers on all 3 books as it can get totally hot and spicy between the MMC and the FMC. I am glad we got to see into Tamens world and how his obsession over Sloane began and burned hotter and hotter as the book went on. The relationship with instant attraction between the both of them was insane, even though the both of them tried to fight it. The spice was def spicin' I am also glad we got to see interactions between all the characters as it was nice to revisit the original story in snippets and being fresh off of Psycho, the rapport was still there as we got to see what the other mmcs/fmcs were up to.
Who doesn't like an obsessed powerful guy with nothing but time and money to burn for the women he wants. 1000% recommend, AM MCCoy knows how to spin a spic smutty tale and I can read her books all day. I was given this a adv reader copy and I am giving my review honestly.
Since book one where Tamen was introduced, I have been wanting to read his story because I knew I was going to love it!! Plus A.M. McCoy is always on it!! this book does have spice🌶🌶🌶🌶. I also loved Sloane (Rainbow). I feel like her and I would be friends. 100% jealous of her hair!
Together, these two are like gasoline and fire, or so they thought. their story is definitely not traditional, but it makes it more fun! I was dying at Tamen's way to communicate. Actually, I am looking for a Tamen (anyone have one). I also liked the thought process it went into Tamen buying the club (Prism), making it elite, although he faced challenges from sweet rainbow and the rest of the staff. However, it turns out it works out for the better as well as Tamen and Sloane. The way Sloane tries to get to know Tamen as they "overcome" the fear of love. since i marked it has spoilers, i have to mention i died with the end and the "two weddings". I definitely did not see that coming in that way!! I know this is the last of this series, but it's definitely a good one! All 3 were a great read!!!!
p.s. make sure you read tropes

When I met Tamen in Stalker he intrigued me, when he resurfaced in Psycho I wanted to reach into the book and slap him silly (or stab him at times) …. now in Bully he becomes even more of a complexity I couldn’t wait to unravel.
Even though I would have loved a little more of Tamen’s backstory what we were given was sooooooo good. He’s a tortured soul who doesn’t believe he deserves or can feel love.
Sloane is my hero. She is everything I would want to be if I was able to be a book character. She’s strong and dominate but also just wants to be loved and praised 😊 The fact that she both wants to kill and love Tamen on the regular is hilarious but so truthful. Who hasn’t, on occasion, said that they both love and dislike their significant other? I know I have!
Let us not forget Dolly, the feral post office lady….she makes an even more detailed cameo in Bully and leads our MMC & FMC to their exciting life altering situation.
I am so sad to see this book series come to an end. A.M. McCoy has quickly become one of my all time favorite authors and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
First off (for those who know) feral post office lady is back🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻) and not just as an Easter egg!!!! Ok now that I got that off my chest. Tamen and Sloane story picks up after the events in book two so please read stalker and psycho first since you kind of meet the characters of the next book in the previous one.
In this book we have the FMC sloane who is a feisty head strong woman who happens to work at a night club Vixens Den as one of the high charge working girls. She runs into, well actually performs for the MMC Tamen ,without actually realizing he is upstairs with a coworker getting a message. Sloanes dreams are ripped from her when Tamlin actually shows up as the new owner during the team meeting the next day. She finds out he was intrigued with her by her coworker and thinks she will use this to her advantage. Hopefully gaining back her dream of owning the club. But being the older brother to a hacker, Tamlin uses his connections with his brother to full on go stalker mode finding out everything he needs to know to stay in his rainbows sights. They both have character growth through out this book and the ending was just chefs kiss.
A.M. McCoy cranks the tension and the heat in Bully, the third installment in The Line Walkers series. Sloane, our rainbow haired, razor sharp female lead is the kind of woman who doesn’t just walk into a room..she owns it. She’s unapologetic, unfiltered, and unforgettable. Enter Tamen, the British bad boy with money, mystery, and just enough menace to make your heart race. When he buys the adult club where Sloane works, their world collides in a firestorm of banter, dominance, and delicious chaos.
The energy in this book is unmatched. The chemistry between Sloane and Tamen is layered with sharp wit, sexual tension you can practically taste, and scenes so spicy they scorch the page. McCoy delivers everything the girlies who love to hate their bad boys could want wgrit, heat, and an unshakable emotional core. If you’re into fierce women, irredeemable men who somehow redeem themselves, and banter that bites just as hard as it flirts, Bully belongs at the top of your TBR.
This book is chiefs kiss. I want to take a moment of appreciation for the dedication at the beginning of the book I loved it. The power dynamic between Tamen and Sloane was incredible I loved how at the start they struggled to maintain it and fought for it and as the book progressed they willingly would give it to each other. I liked the different kind of ( I don’t know if I can say this word in the review so I’ll rhyme it) minks that were in the book and I didn’t know I was interested until reading. It definitely gives you something to think about. Other parts I enjoyed were when Tamen was twitchy from annoyance, jealousy, or rage. The end truly had me in tears when Tamen made his confession to Sloane in the house he bought them. It was a true masterpiece but let not forget about the reappearance of the post office lady and her crazy antics. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I hope you love it as much as I did happy reading!
WHY DOES THIS SERIES HAVE TO ENDDDDD?! Finishing the Line Walker series makes me so sad, but Tamen's story did not disappoint. Tamen and Sloane created such an electric push and pull this whole book it was next to impossible to put down. Tamen's obsession with Sloane starts right out the gate and she is not here for it. The love/hate relationship between these two I couldn't help but eat all the way up. The spice development, just thinking about it gives me absolute chills, it is so steamy. The guarded feelings from both of them, the sass, the banter, the BANTER!, the you're not going to tell me what to do attitude, the C H E M I S T R Y, the CHEMISTRY!!, all of it was placed so wonderful in this book...it may be my favorite of the three. AND DOLLY. We can't finish The Line Walkers without the appearance of our favorite Post Office Lady...
I want to be like Dolly when I grow up, because who doesn't love to add a little mayhem to a story.
I absolutely cannot get enough of The Line Walker series. Sloane and Tamen are so fun and it made for such an amazing read. The chemistry that builds between the two is intense and such an amazing ride. From the last books I knew Tamen was becoming especially intriguing to me and I am so glad I got to read his story and follow along with the relationship between these two main characters.
The book flows so smoothly I could not put it down for even a moment it had to be pried from my fingertips just to go to bed. (Dont worry I definitely snuck in a long night to the point this was a one day read!) I am also so stoked that Dolly our crazy post office lady had made her appearance. It would not be finished without her! Shes amazing and funny, I absolutely live for her and let me say the spiceeeeeee was definitely 10/10 🌶️s!
This is the final book of the Linewalkers series, and a 5-star screamer from start to finish. Tamen is a dark, complex character, an anti-hero among the three"brothers" who live in this world. Sloane is color and light, realistic about the world and her place in it. I love the positive sex-work vibes. Tamen and Sloane balance each other. Both are broken in their own ways, and they fill the voids. Tropes include: Enemy to Lover Work/Office dynamic Hurt/Heal There's no 3rd act break-up, no baby, no cheating after they are together. It is a story of a man discovering he can love, and of a woman realizing she can be loved. I recommend the whole series, as each story is as compelling as the last. and Bully brings it home slamingly. AM McCoy is a fantastic writer - her characters and their stories are intense and immersive. 5 happy 🌟 s.
This series was a wild ride! All of the books were so different, but fit together so cohesively. I have been waiting for Tamen’s story since book one. He always intrigued me, and he definitely lived up to that bad boy, idgaf persona he exudes- but in a good way! Sloane was such a fun and unique character. Her character had so much depth, and really put a spin on what you’d typically think of a sex worker. I absolutely adored that Tamen called her Rainbow 🌈. It was the perfect name for her, and showed he had a soft spot from her from the beginning. I loved getting to see the characters from previous books, and how they all interacted with one another. Overall, the book was a great read, and a satisfying ending to the Line Walker series. I can’t wait to see what A.M. McCoy comes up with next!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Book Review: Bully (Book 3 in the Line of Walkers series by A.M. McCoy)
This book was everything! As always, A.M. McCoy delivers. I absolutely devoured Bully — I couldn’t get enough of Tamen and Sloane. Their banter? Perfection. Their love? Even better. It's the ultimate enemies-to-lovers read, and one I’ll be rereading for sure.
Tamen is the kind of asshole MMC you love to hate (and then just plain love), and Sloane is such a strong, fierce FMC that you can’t help but root for. Together, their chemistry is off the charts.
Tropes you’ll love:
-Instalust -Enemies to lovers -He fell first -Glory hole -Boss/Employee -Strong FMC -Found family -Sex club -Asshole MMC
This is a 5-star, 4-chili-spice must-read if you love your romance dark, spicy, and addictively dramatic.
*no spoilers** A.M. McCoy does it again with the ending on the Line Walkers series! Love the Boss-Employee Trope.
I absolutely loved the banter between Tamen and Sloane. It was a book I simply could not put down! Fast paced and riveting. The two personalities clashed but worked together in such a beautiful way! The connection between the two is electric and draws you in… Sloane is an absolute sin. She is just so powerful and sensual. I loved her persistence to herself and what she brought to this book!
The sexy scenes are *muah* chefs kiss… fiery, hot, sexy. I loved the progression through the book itself! Honestly, Tamen is just so broody and enticing.

I loved Dane and Maddox, but I ABSOLUTELY love Tamen!
Tamen and Sloane think they are both incapable of being loved, but once they meet, their chemistry is on fire 🔥
The banter between the two is top-notch
If you have a thing for a man from a dark past AND will submit to his woman to make her happy, this is your book!
Tamen is a bully, but who knew that bully has a heart? Especially for his Rainbow. He knows her limits, and he likes to push those boundaries, but Sloane pushes right back, giving just as good as Tamen gives.
Can light and dark, good and bad, find a common ground and get along? Read to find out 😉
Oh! Can't forget our other favorite! Feral post office lady! She has a lot to say as well!
First off I love this series! So happy to have another book in The Line Walkers series. Bully was the best new addition. Tamen and Sloane's chemistry was crazy right from the get go. The story line fit right in with the other books and I love how much of the other previous book characters were involved in this one but not so much of a focus that it became muddy and you lost the story line of this one. The romance and the way it evolves seemed believable and not too fake or rushed. Twists and turns were not predictable and the resolutions were great and well written. Overall a very cool read! Loved The Bully and His Rainbow!!!
