She's nothing like the classy, curvaceous, leggy blondes that frequent his bed...yet something about the bedraggled red-headed scrawny woman draws him to her, that he feels compelled to bed her. She thought it a cruel joke when he asks her to dinner. Why would this hot as--hell, jet setting billionaire want to go to dinner with Alina Brooke?
Yet...she found herself saying yes to dinner...and more
I was really going to give 4 stars but the ending just ended all the hopes of it. The start was really very interesting and I was really intrigued. 😑
By the time I reached the mid story started to sound superficial. And by the end it was not only sounding but even felt like a formality to just end what has already started. 😟Role of our hero Tomas was just to provide with everything and act as a man due to him the heroine feels insecure. All the real work has been done by the heroine only. Real feminism😕
No one could have guessed the horrific end to a beautiful start!!
This was probably my 6th read. I had read it a lot when I discovered Wattpad and loved it. I thought it was realistic how there were problems even after being married and not everything was just unrealistically happy like most books were on Wattpad then. On this reread, i realised that despite having the potential to be a good book, it is a very badly-written, terribly-crafted novel. No research done. The plots and conflicts are either stereotypical or unrealistic. Anticlimax after a massive build up. Abrupt dialogues. Unrealistic characters. No rules of punctuation are followed. Needs atleast 5 revisions before it should be read by others. 15 revisions to make it worth reading.
There is a pattern with this author. I have read some of their books and they have the male characters who are very manly, arrongant, powerful, and handsome who use their power to abuse the female characters. Of course they feel bad about it later and it is just a step away from being rape. The author ensures that it cannot be considered rape as the female character loves it and can't resist but can't help but notice how semi abusive the guy is.
