“I have to be strong.”
“You are. But you can’t hold the world on your shoulders forever.”

Nathan Accardi fears the Paladin Guild has lost its way. Once fearsome demon hunters, these days they spend all their energy hating a handful of people who left the guild to be with demons. In an attempt to be the voice of reason, he asks Commander Sloan to let him approach the defectors with a truce. He doesn’t expect them to make a halfling demon his point of contact, but he can’t blame them for being wary of him.

He feels an instant attraction to Storm. Fighting it is impossible, and against his better judgment, a night of passion turns his world on its head.

Storm has watched other demons fall for their humans, but it was never supposed to happen to him. When Nathan pulls away after their first incredible night together, Storm swears he’ll do whatever it takes to make him see that they belong together.

But there are more than bloodthirsty paladins closing in. Strange deaths in the city are just the beginning. Something’s coming, and if Nathan isn’t careful, he’ll be caught in the crossfire. Is a truce between the paladins and the rebels worth his life? Will Storm be able to save him from becoming a martyr for a truce no one else believes in?

The way I devoured this book. Sigh. KT Yarrow works magic. I've never read an insta-love book (let alone an entire series of it) that works as well as the Dark Delights series does. The love and attachment always feel genuine, and every couple has their quirks and qualities that make their stories a thrill to explore.

I absolutely love that Zachary and Angela get to be integral parts of the story as well. Children represent the future, and not only are the guild's children important to our loveable outcasts, but so are these misplaced teenagers trying to find their way in the world. The support that the entire crew show these kids warms my heart and gives me hope for the future they are building together.

I sort of feel like Storm and Nathan are our kinkiest couple yet, which is an exciting reveal as up until now we've only seen Nathan as our devoted, unshakably strong, and understanding Captain Accardi. I adore him, and I love how Storm adores every part of him as well. Storm starts off rather unsteady, as he's expressed just how much he didn't want his own human in the past books, but his unyielding love and guidance create the perfect cocktail to allow Nathan to break free of his pious self-repression and really let himself bloom.

We're also starting to see the guild beginning to crumble at the edges, and the anticipation is leaving me restless and eager. Sloan's heavy hand and hateful reproach will surely be his downfall, but will it also be the end of the Paladins? The action gets better and better with each addition to the series, and with the plot as thick as ever, I cannot wait to see what love, drama, and adventure the next book will bring us.

So here's me yet again saying "I liked this one the most" just like I did for book 3, and book 2 before that lol.

This is Nathan and Storm's story. Nathan was Alex's captain in the Paladin Guild before Alex defected to go live with his demon mate. Nathan has had appearances in the other books, but only as a side character. He was a voice of reason and compassion when the Guild had none, not wanting to fight against the "traitors" from the previous 3 books, but instead ally with them to help defend the humans. His instant attraction to meeting *his* halfling demon was only denied for a brief time, and I appreciate that because I hate the angsty books.

Storm was a bouncer at In Extremis, the demon bar, and part of the friend group from the previous 3 books. After getting attacked by Paladins and group-blamed by Lilith for the attack, he quit his job and was hanging around the Rink with the other couples. He knew Nathan was his the minute he saw him. I thought it was charming how he asked the other demons for help and advice for wooing his man.

I love the banter this couple have and their spicy scenes were *chefs kiss*. Nathan has had to be a leader in the real world too much and he enjoys being a sub in the bedroom. Good thing Storm likes to be a dom...

I dunno how KT Yarrow is cranking these books out so fast with such good quality, but I'm certainly glad they are. Bring on Wicked, book 5! :P

It’s actually baffling how every time a book in this series is released, I read it and immediately know that there’s no way the next book could get any better. How can you improve upon 5 stars? But somehow KT Yarrow does it every time. Sinful is now my new favourite (at least until Wicked comes out 🫣). I just love how these demons see their humans for the first time and are like ‘oop that’s my man’. And I love that there’s no real conflict within the relationships. They are all in and out each other first every time. When we first met Nathan all the way back in the first book, I knew he would eventually get his own story. He’s this tough, in charge captain, with a really good heart. And Storm in Forbidden becomes one of the gang and a really good ally.

They worked together so well. The smutty scenes were insanely good! And the plot this time around hooks you in so quickly. The demon entity bad guy this time around is a little gruesome and KT writes it so you feel the trepidation and fear. And Commander Sloan is slipping further into his beliefs, including not even believing hard evidence shown to him. So you know he’s going to be even more insane in the next book. I seriously can’t wait.

Thank you KT Yarrow for the ARC. This review is honest and voluntary.

What an amazing addition to the Dark Delights series! I honestly couldn’t put this one down from page one! Nathan’s made appearances in previous books and always struck me as a trustworthy and loyal guy, so I’m happy he found his match with Storm. 🗡️❤️⚡️

Storm is the perfect amount of possessive and protective that we’ve come to expect from these demons, so it was fun to see him pull Nathan out of his shell. Their chemistry was truly off the charts, which made the spice great! 🔥🔥🔥

I also love how these characters have formed this found family as they build their paranormal protection group. They may or may not even decide on a name by the end of this book. 🤭

The plot started to pick up a lot in the last book, and it ramps up more in this one! The final few chapters really had me on the edge of my seat. I greatly enjoyed the mystery behind the strange deaths/possessions and how it all played out. The creatures they fight in this one are truly horrifying!!

With the stakes higher than ever, I can’t wait for the next installment! If you’ve read and enjoyed any of the previous books in this series, then I can’t recommend this one enough!

A bigger storm than expected

Nathan is just another Paladin who isn't sure that all demons are as bad as they have been taught. He is now tasked with being the go between with the Paladins and those who have already left and are now siding with the demons.

Nathan is given Storm as his contact and of course that means they are meant to be together and our resident seer already knows this. Nathan has never looks twice at a man and has no clue why he is so drawn to this male demon but something about him makes him question his sexuality.

Storm thought all the demons were crazy with their I just knew immediately they were mine BS....well until he met his human, his Sunshine.

As these two work together on a new series of events that are impacting both the humans and the demons they will realize this attraction is something undeniable.

This is a filled with all the firsts for Nathan and an undeniable bond. Can our misfits figure out what's going on before more lives are lost or the treat breaks free?

What's next for the Paladin guild? Or should it be who is next?

Thank you KT Yarrow for this ARC

Sinful is book 4 of The Dark Delights Series it can be read as a standalone. But it can be a bit confusing in some things so I recommend to read the others in the series first.
Nathan is a Paladin Guild who fights evil monsters but lately he feels like they have lost their way. His commander lets him try to make a truce against halflings and their humans who are known as traitors. But he doesn’t expect to meet Storm, a halfling and their connection is instant. Nathan has never been with a man before but he can’t deny his attraction and want to Storm. Nathan tries to fight against his connection to Storm knowing that the Guild will not approve and he will be in danger but the more time he spends with Storm he can’t deny what they have.
They work together to fight against evil monsters who are trying to hurt and kill humans while at the same time Nathan realizes that he doesn’t belong with the Guild anymore his place is next to Storm.
I definitely recommend this book and I will be reading the others in the series since the other couples are mentioned a lot and I’m curious on how they got together.

This series just keeps getting better, and Sinful might be my favorite yet. KT Yarrow masterfully blends dark fantasy, sizzling romance, and deep emotional stakes in this gripping installment of the Dark Delights series.

Nathan and Storm are electric together—an enemies-to-lovers match wrapped in tension, longing, and impossible choices. Their chemistry is off the charts, but it’s the vulnerability beneath the heat that makes their connection unforgettable. Watching a duty-bound paladin fall for a half-demon, while questioning everything he’s been taught, is both heart-wrenching and deeply satisfying.

The worldbuilding is as rich and immersive as ever, with growing political tension and a new mystery that raises the stakes for everyone. The themes of trust, redemption, and found family continue to shine, making this more than just a romance—it’s a powerful story about fighting for what’s right, even when it’s messy.

If you love emotional slow burns with danger, passion, and just the right amount of angst, Sinful will absolutely hook you. This series is a dark delight in every sense.

Fourth in series (Dark Delights), must be read in order due to overarching storyline. Paranormal. Adversarial to lovers. Found family. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.

Nathan is a captain in the paladin guild but wants to seek a truce with the “traitors” that have found happiness with demon halflings. Initially Storm is sent to determine if their splinter group can trust Nathan, but from the moment they meet he feels drawn to the earnestly honest man. Nathan and Storm are quick to feel attraction, to have feelings and begin a steamy relationship.

I enjoyed the ease in which Nathan accepted his interest in another man, especially one that’s a demon, and that Storm wants to care and protect Nathan from the instant they met. I do wish there was more background and “getting to know you” between them, but all the relationships in this series seem fated which works for the couples and the stories. Nathan and Storm ended up having no problem committing to eternity with each other and were every bit as swoony as could be expected. Really love this series. 4.5 rounded up

The premisse of the series is evil vs good but the lines blur and maybe demons and halflings are not so evil and the guild is not so good.
After three paladins left the guild,Captain Nathan starts to doubt and question the actions of the guild.
Looking for answers he contacts 'the traitors' and Storm happens...
The overarching plot is rich and complex and the author knew how to keep the reader in a full engagement adding new elements and secrets that kept me engrossed until the last word.
Love how they humans and demons are forming a family.
And lets not forget the steamy scenes where a dominant Storm coaches Nathan to open and embrasse his submissive side.
This series is only getting better and highly recomend!

Nathan and Storm were brilliant together from the outset - I loved how things developed between them and the steam factor was definitely high with these two! I've enjoyed every book in the series so far but this one definitely gives more in terms of wider plot and world building. There's a lot of new action and plot twists that I didn't see coming. I'm excited to see where the next book goes and it's so good to see all the previous characters return again as secondary ones because the group together makes me smile. Overall, a great mm romance with plenty of action too. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes this genre but it's better as part of the series.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. It probably is the most enjoyable so far in the series. I think it’s just a case of the author writing so well that I have great expectations but somehow when I reach the end it still somehow misses its mark. I’m still trying to get more of the emotional turmoil and connection between the MCs - it seems a little lacking.

Small things - Ira’s “knowingness” is just plain annoying. Ok. That’s the only small thing but annoying nevertheless.

The next book is probably the one I’ve been waiting anxiously for. I really hope it just gets better from here.

Another great book in the Dark Delights series. Storm and Nathan's delicious chemistry combined with the suspense, action, and sinful delights KT Yarrow packed into this story made this one an easy favorite. I always love seeing the characters from the previous books and how well they integrate to the current story. I also love how well described the fighting scenes are and how much those scenes bring to the story. I am so invested in this series and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

KT Yarrow delivers with another fast-paced installment from our favorite demon hunters and their ever-possessive mates!

Nathan and Storm might just be one of my favorite duos in the whole series; their dynamic had me grinning, swooning, and holding my breath more than once.

I’m fully invested in this series and can’t wait to see what’s next.

It was pretty good. I did want more. Unfortunately so far this is my least favourite of the series. It just felt like it was missing something. Other than that not bad
