Rate this book
I'm an omega who was forced into a bond by my psychotic ex.

Trying to claim some control over my life, I spend my heat at The Omega Den, a notorious club my best friend Bex convinced me to go to.

That's when things go terribly wrong.

Omegas are disappearing, and Bex vanishes without a trace. I know I should run before it's too late. But if the tables were turned, Bex would do anything to save me.

So I stay, determined to uncover the truth even if it costs me my life.

When three men stumble into my hospital covered in blood, I have a sinking feeling my ex is behind it all. But I have a plan to take down the Sterling empire once and for all. And I need these three men to help me do it.

Hux, the alpha and owner of the Omega Den. He swears he'll never bond a pack. But I'm determined to change his mind.

Creed, my ex's brother. A sweet and quirky omega who was born into the Sterling family that controls everything about his life. Even who he should love.

And Vaughn, the beta, is all dark and rough around the edges and will sacrifice anything to protect the love of his life, Creed.

But will his sacrifice be enough?

I wasn't expecting to fall for these men. I'm knot worthy of them. I'm a bitten omega. Damaged goods. But if they can be together, maybe we can find these omegas and find Bex.

I just hope I'm strong enough not to fall for them. Doing so could cost me everything…

Including them.

This is book one in an Omegaverse Trilogy, the first in a new world.
Welcome to the Sterling City Omegaverse.

Reading this book is "Knot worthy" your time.

Oh how irritated I was reading all the time "Knot worthy", please just write "not".

This is one big mess. Too many "popular" tropes too little ability to write them, especially considering the length of this book.

Needs some work

The storyline is great and kept me interested, however it needs a lot of work.
For instance in this world the omegas heat lasts less than one day and there’s no real build up to it. It was mentioned as a future issue, then it was mentioned almost at the end of the book that it was taken care of by Hux during a meeting at an omega club within a few hours. So simply put there’s not a lot of world building. You kinda have to deduce things as you read.
I like the characters, but they need quite a bit of development. It’s like the story starts and throws characters at you but this book didn’t really tell you anything about them. A snippet here and there eludes to who they are as characters. But no real backstory.
There are a few glaring contradictions, literally within a few paragraphs. In one scene a character is a doctor, that for some reason paid for our FMC to go to medical school to become a nurse? That does not require medical school but ok, the point is the character is a doctor in one scene, a few paragraphs later she’s referred to as a good nurse, the. A few more paragraphs later she’s a doctor again. It would be maybe passable if the contradictions were spaced out more but being so close it really ate at me. lol
The next glaring contradiction is that one of the characters parents died, in one paragraph it was last year, a chapter or two later it was 10 years ago and he had to basically raise his younger sister.
Another thing I do t get is that the “doctor/nurse” characters daughter is kidnapped a few weeks prior to her scene but she’s perfect calm and doesn’t even make mention even though the FMC was her roommate and best friend. There was just not much world building or character development and it made the story weird. I love the idea, and I’m so invested in getting to the resolution of all the plots that I will probably read book two if it’s released already or relatively soon. But I would encourage the author to invest in an editor, maybe several to help with these multiple issues. Happy Reading Friends.

This is the first book in The Omega Den trilogy, featuring Kaylani, an omega trying to escape an obsessive alpha. Thinking she’s finally free of him, she takes her friend’s advice and seeks comfort in another alpha. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, and she finds herself back in the hands of the abusive alpha she’s been desperately trying to escape.

I absolutely LOVED the beginning of this series. It definitely has my attention, and I can’t wait to start the next book in the trilogy!

Narrated by Maggie Indara, Martin Van Sommers, and Jonathan Lake

Each of these narrators was new to me, and I’m so glad they crossed my path—I will definitely be looking up other books they've worked on! Maggie was a wonderful voice for Kaylani; she perfectly conveyed both her strength and her sadness. Martin and Jonathan played each of the MMCs, and I was here for it!! My gosh, I can’t wait to continue listening to these three as the rest of the audiobooks are released!

knot worthy omegas

What a roller coaster. This story has it all, action, spice, mystery. I am obsessed with Creed and Vaughn. I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed omega males, but Creed helped solidify that! Hux is my favorite alpha type and I need more of him. That cliffhanger!!! I can’t wait for the next one!

Man, oh man you got me with that cliffhanger… I didn’t realize the book was ending so soon and I kept trying to scroll to the next page… There was no next page! I love Hux, Vaughn and Creed soooo much. My heart hurts for Kaylani 💔 And I LOATHE Adam… I cannot wait for him to have the day he deserves … When does book 2 come out?

Just finished the audiobook, narrated by Maggie Indara, Martin Van Sommers, and Jonathan Lake, and it was a super quick listen (one afternoon)!

This is definitely an intriguing crew. There’s a bit of fun for everyone in Knot Worthy. Like other reviews said it ends on a cliffy & I can't wait for the next one in the series!

Good read

Very fun read but warning before you get to invested the ending leaves off on a major cliff hanger. Like worse than any I have ever seen before. It ends right in the middle of a fight. I don't mind cliff hangers if done right. I know it's used to keep the reader wanting to continue forward but...it just feels incomplete to me. It was a hot and steamy read though and liked the different characters pov. Knot being used wrong in some instances took me out of the story but the plot over all had me wanting to know what would happen next.

The author likes the pun “knot worthy” so much that she fails to realize that in omegaverse, being “knotworthy” is the exact opposite of being “not worthy,” and every time she includes this phrase in the book, it makes the sentence ridiculous. That does not stop her from using it 6 freaking times. 🙄

The law enforcement in this world makes no sense. The villains’ ability to literally command the authorities and arrest people on a whim beggars belief, as does the fact that the FMC suspects her missing BFF of being on Creed’s family estate and doesn’t simply ask him to go home and check. I don’t get why Creed or Vaughn would be blamed for a crime committed by Huxley (if it even was a crime—it happened off page and sounded like self defense), nor why his bonding with the pair of them would be a solution to their legal troubles, nor why the FMC cannot bond with them — yes, she’s been forcibly bonded with Adam, but in most omegaverse stories, an omega can be bonded with multiple alphas. Maybe it would make Adam angry, but he is already a psycho.

The book ends in a cliffhanger, but I don’t feel like reading the rest of the series. The emotional highs and lows fell flat, and I can already pretty well guess how the situation with Adam is gonna go down.

DNF 88%.

Okay kinda mean take so proceed with caution:

It’s like they all fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. No common sense to be found. The world building makes zero sense. The mood swings are painful and it’s like no character has a real personality? I never rate my DNFs but this was tempting.

DNF @ 60%. This doesn’t read like a professionally-written book at this point. Looking past the syntax issues, the dialogue feels contrived and the “knot/not” pun is regularly used in the text, which feels reductive. We are just hitting beats with no stakes.

I hate-read this book.

It is in desperate need of an editor. The same lines were repeated again and again, at one point the same description was used in in one paragraph right after the other. In the same chapter. If I have to read the phrase "I'm knot worthy" one more time... We are also repeatedly explained to how Kay loves pink, has pink hair, and has "stormy" grey eyes. We know because we're told every single chapter.

The characters all seemed to know one another, despite us being given absolutely no backstory as to how that is. Everyone is obsessed with one another, despite having apparently known one another for years and only just not realizing they're into one another? Just, spontaneously? Creed is Adam's brother, but also not??? A family with the same name as the town is in charge of, apparently, everything, including "the authorities" and for some reason the "next Generation pack" always has a capitalized G. And only sometimes a capitalized N and P. We're also given no explanation as to how 2/3 families involved in this "next Generation pack" are important. Just that they are for some reason.

"The Authorities" are mentioned a dozen times because apparently "the police" is too simple? Except half the time, "The Authorities" are a character we've already met and a character that's been given a name and nothing else. I'd assumed they were just these two random people except later "the authorities" show up and its more people.

I'm glad it ended in a cliffhanger because it meant it was over.

Do you ever get that feeling that you are vibing with a story and you are definitely and happily going along with everything? Because this book series is that for me. We follow Kaylani, an omega who has been bitten by an alpha but the bite has not been returned. So while they are bonded by his bite, the bond hasn't been sealed. In fact, Kay has broken up with the alphahole Adam and when her friend Bex finally manages to take her The Omega Den to meet a scent match for Kay, it starts off a series of events that will have ones head spinning.

Missing omegas? Check as Bex wounds up missing from the club.

A mysterious scent match that haunts Kay's mind? Check, she cannot get Hux out of her mind (even if she doesn't yet know his name). A omega-beta couple Vaughn and Creed - a brother of Adam - entice her also and she feels drawn to all three men. And when those three men end up in her hospital, all bloodied and bruised, it will amp up everything.

I really liked this book, so much that I immediately jumped into book 2 at the end of this brutal cliffhanger. I really like all main characters and I think the villains were done well also. There is definitely no redemption for them and that's how I like my actual villains. The action is packed and the individual moments Kay has with each men are done pretty well as are the group moments too. I also really love the love that is between Vaughn and Creed, they are perfect for each other.

Knot Worthy is book one in A Club Heat Series and is written by Miss Renae.

💜 omega FMC
💜 exes that won’t go away
💜 found family
💜 mystery
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice

Kaylani just isn’t sure about this decision. Rebecca, Bex for short, is her best friend and insisting that she talk to this alpha. Apparently, they are scent matched. But, after her relationship ended with Adam, she’s really not sure. What leads to a one night fling, ends with tragedy. Will she be able to forgive herself? What about Bex? Will she ever figured out what happened? Will she see that alpha ever again?

This was a fun take on an omegaverse. It was so easy to get sucked into this world. I had a hard time putting it down to do everyday things that needed my attention. Kaylani is such a firecracker of a personality. She has gone through so much, but she tries not to let that hang over her head constantly. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to pick up the next book.

I Dunno…

I really have mixed feelings about this story. I’m not sure if it was a literary choice or an editing mistake, but using “knot” instead of “not” was incredibly distracting and didn’t land with me as a reader. The “big bad” of the Sterlings is really a paper villain. You get an idea that they’re a ruling upper crust clan, but not why they’re shady. This story had a lot of promise. The characters are interesting, to some extent. It’s so unclear what is going on and why - if Mama Sterling was taking omegas for her son, but had Hux’s sister groomed for him? It makes absolutely no sense. Maybe it was Mama making a villain speech, but none of this makes sense. Adam and Kay’s past is full of holes. And his behavior is incredibly unhinged - which is the point. So many characters are used as plot devices with very little payoff. It’s good that this is a duet because I’ll be interested in seeing how it resolves itself.

Format: Audiobook - Narrated by Maggie Indara, Martin Van Sommers, Jonathan Lake
Series / Standalone: The Omega Den Trilogy - Book One
Tropes: Omegaverse, Age Gap, Why Choose/RH/MMFM, Forbidden Romance (Ex's Brother), Scent Matching, Fling/One Night Stand, Found Family

I suggest reading this if you are already a fan of Omegaverse. It is a bit slim on world building and we jump right into the action and storyline but overall it was a well paced story. I really enjoyed the way the plot unfolded and how much attention each character was paid. I am truly invested in this relationship, in any and all forms it may take. I love their of suspense and cannot wait for this next book after that cliffhanger.

The audio production was great. All narrators did a good job really acting out the scenes. I felt all the emotions coming to life and it made listening straight through a breeze.

really all over the place (spoilers)

I DNF’d there were so many typos, inconsistencies, and Kaylani straight up has conversation with the MOTHER OF HER MISSING BEST FRIEND and the mother acts like she doesn’t know what’s going on and kaylani is like “I’m not in the mindset to talk about her daughter right now”

Also like, they would have internal thoughts that make no sense that I literally reread to see if I missed something.
That, combined with describing the FMC the same exact way twice on one page and the absolute angst of Vaughn breaking up with (can’t remember the male omegas name) and he acts like he has no idea it’s a “I’m breaking your heart to save your life” situation and I’m sorry I just can’t

Kaylani ends things with her abusive ex - who happens to be the son of the most prominent woman in the area (think mafia leader who "owns" everyone and everything). What's ironic is that even though she was with Adam for 4 years, it felt as though she was almost ignorant to the danger she was in. Anyhow...she and her bff Bex go to a club and she has a one-night-stand with an alpha, Hux (who is the owner). As she's coming out she runs into Creed - Adam's brother (and an omega) who she's always had a fondness for.

Creed has his own issues. He's with the beta bouncer - and obviously he's not good enough for Creed's psycho mom. Meanwhile, Bex goes missing...there's lots of moving pieces, people are hesitant to admit their feelings and act on it, and OF COURSE there's a cliffhanger.

Did I like it? Well enough. Will I read book 2? Eh...maybe not.

So, this is okay, but ended in a cliffhanger I wasn't expecting
That is not a big deal, but the storyline itself has huge issues. Omegas are going missing, there is a family that controls the city, Mafia kind of vibes, but there is absolutely no context, no backstory, nothing that fills in any blanks. Some dub/com elements, nutso ex/not ex, evil mother of ex, characters with ties to one another with zero context to really understand the whole dynamic, just this level of malice without anything to relate to. I'm not interested enough to even care to read the next book. Sure there's a HEA some time, doubt I'll check it out.

This was a fast paced story in the omegaverse. the fmc finds herself tangled with her share of Alphas, Beta's, and omegas. One who wants to control her and 3 that want to be with her and protect her. Although the storyline seemed too fast for what was going on. I feel as if there could have been more story building. Each encounter between the characters feel rushed. Between the alpha and fmc omega, then between the male beta and male omega. Then the part of the story with the ex and his family. It just felt rushed.
Even though the story felt rushed I look forward to listening to the next book in the story.

The ‘knot worthy’ pun gets old quick since it makes the sentences confusing. Considering ‘knot worthy’ would be the opposite of the intended usage. The couple grammar errors distract me while reading. There’s a lot of inconsistent story line issues imo. The sudden feelings between everyone was very unnatural and just seemed forced to keep the story moving for plot that is hardly there. It had to push myself to finish the book. The ‘cliffhanger’ was just a quick drop off and I’m sure the second will continue the rough reading. Unsure I will be reading the next two when they come on KU tbh.

corruption

A world where it’s not safe for omegas.

If your into dark Psychotic ex’s/stalker who think’s they can possess and own you, a alpha who does the right thing and has a heart of gold, a wicked witch not actually a witch but you know what I mean, who has a ego the size of Europe, and wants to take on the world, a omega who is like every ladies panty melting heart throb and a beta who not only is a protector and loves hard. Then this is the book for you.

Different twist to a Omegaverse that is entertaining from the very beginning.

As a fan of omegaverse books, I found this one interesting. It's kind of a slow burn, and it isn't a stand alone book. I enjoyed the build up, but I wish it wasn't such a cliff hanger. Kaylani is a wonderful female main character and the three different men that she may choose are all so sexy. It's a good read, but I need book two.

I like this a lot

The only part of this I didn’t necessarily like was the bit where the dirty talk was geared to degradation, it’s something of an ick for me in sexy talk, wanted or not. And of course Adam’s chapter was hard to swallow too, I’ve always hated abusive people even in books because I know just the type, but it makes it very hard to read both those things. But I still loved this book despite that little bit! I’m hoping for a happy ending for her somehow and I was really hoping Bex would be okay too but I’ll be livid if anything happens to Candi also!

Knot Worthy, book 1 of The Omega Den series by Miss Renae @missrenaeauthor. Miss Renae is a new to me author.

This was a quick read for me that I really enjoyed! I can't wait for the next book in the series to continue reading about Kaylani, Hux, Creed & Vaughn. If you like RH, MM, OV, a psychotic ex, some good smexy scenes, then this is the book for you!

Knot Worthy was a quick bit good read. There are some things I think the author could of worked on. This feels like a story that was already started but we don't get much of the context of what happened before this story starts.

The characters were likeable. I'm loving Vaughan and Creed.

This ended on a major cliffie that is a bit frustrating but I want to see how everything ends up playing out.

Trilogy review:

So much unmet potential. Great concept, but a lot more was needed. Not enough time goes into the world building.
There were a ton of inconsistencies with the passing of time. A lot of holes. The group claims they will be a pack, but they don't talk to each other, and all have their own thing going on. The FMC fits in the "too stupid to live" category, just keeps going off alone or ignoring her instincts.
Read the trilogy because they were short or I would have DNFd. The plot is not wrapped up in these 3 books and will continue, but I will not be reading more.
