Alaskan Legal 3: A Legal Thriller

Reese and his paralegal Cassandra are retained by a woman who inherited a large swath of land on Kodiak Island, land that hunters have historically been allowed to use freely. However, the client wants to modernize her uncle’s property and turn it into a high-end retreat. In the process she’s alienated the hunters and most of the Kodiak locals.

Reese is going to have to navigate any locals, dangerous hunters, and the legal system to help his client assert her property rights, which would normally be hard enough but there is more to the situation than meets the eye.

Reese will discover there is a generations’ old secret buried on the land and both sides want access to it. The case really isn’t property rights or hunting rights at all, but it is something both sides will kill for.

A fun and interesting read

The two main characters in this series are truly endearing! The situations they encounter are always “thrilling” so using the term legal thriller is so appropriate!
