But after escaping a brutal marriage and discovering I’m pregnant, this town—and the broody tattoo artist who swore to protect me—might be the only shot I have at starting over. Atlas Timberbridge is nothing like the world I left behind.
He’s all inked arms, gruff silence, and an unexpected gentleness that makes my heart ache.
Pretending we were married was for my protection. A temporary arrangement meant to keep me hidden from my vicious husband. We agree to keep it strictly business. No feelings. No future.
But the longer I stay, the more this small town—and this man—start to feel like home.
Now I’m falling for my fake husband… and terrified he’ll never be able to love me back. Because small towns have long memories. And secrets don’t stay buried forever.
Claudia is an award-winning, USA Today bestselling author. She writes alluring, thrilling stories about complicated women and the men who take their breath away. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and her youngest two children. She has a sweet Bichon, Macey, who thinks she's the ruler of the house. She's only partially right. When Claudia is not writing, you can find her reading, knitting, or just hanging out with her family. At night, she likes to binge watch shows with her equally geeky husband.
I really struggled through this one. I couldn't decide between 2 and 3. right now it's a 2 bc it's fresh and i'm annoyed.
1. There was nothing likeable about the FMC. she was just blah. so wah wah wah. her internal dialogue was obnoxious and overly dramatic. she did that thing where she leaves a bad relationship and complains about how she has 0 money and has to raise a baby alone....but fights help every step of the way. like just take the new phone lady! she was so combative and it was exhausting.I have NO idea why the MMC liked her so much. I didnt even feel like she was nice enough for him to start liking her. I don't even know how or when it happened!
2. the plot was absolutely ridiculous. listen. I know this is fictional and it's not supposed to be realistic.... but the lengths this woman's husband (who didn't even like her) went to to find her was absurd. not even believable. you would have thought this man was the pope with the connections he had. it was TOO dramatic for me and way too unbelievable. I need some element of realism in my fiction novels.
Disappointed :( At first, I was really intrigued, But as the story went on, everything started to feel off. The romance felt forced, and I didn’t see much real development between the characters. The ending was rushed, I was expecting some action with that bastard of a husband, but it just deflated like a balloon losing air. It left me feeling unsatisfied overall.
** Audio Review ** Squeeze my heart! When Love Found Us by Claudia Burgoa was an angsty, suspenseful, and swoony small-town romance that I devoured in one sitting. I couldn’t get enough of Blythe and Atlas’s slow-burning chemistry that had me wishing and willing for these two to settle the past and find true happiness together. This Timberbridge Brothers series keeps getting better and better.
Vanessa Edwin and Sean Masters perform this audiobook in duet-style narration, and these two were so perfect together in this one! Vanessa’s soft, soothing tone conveyed Blythe’s vulnerable and skittish demeanor, yet also showcased some strong mama-bear qualities. Sean’s deep, growly voice encompassed all of Atlas’ possessive and protective “who hurt you” vibes, making this man irresistible. Both narrators created a slow-burning tension between these two that made their pull to each other undeniable.
Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town romance with a grumpy tattoo artist, a heroine on the run, a hidden identity, close proximity, she’s pregnant, he protects her, a dangerous past, intimate conversations, meddling family, my wife moments, slow burn kisses, baby kicks, fighting to stay safe, love declarations, a heart-racing climax, and a HEA that will nestle down deep in your heart, then you will love Blythe and Atlas’ romance. I always look forward to more from Claudia Burgoa.

What's going on with The Timberbridge Brothers that keeps getting better with each book Claudia Burgoa writes? Atlas & Blythe broke my heart with their stories, but they also made me love them so much and devour this book like crazy because this couple captivated me from the prologue. I also loved the way the author continued the family drama and how, once again, she gave me the perfect dose of mystery and romance.
Atlas is a character I've wanted to read since the first book, and I think something extraordinary is going to have to happen for him and Hopper to stop being my favorites in this series. First of all I loved to finally getting to know Atlas's side of the whole sibling rivalry and hatred - it broke my heart way more than I expected, BUT it also made me love him even more, and I have to say I hate Ledger for his behavior towards Atlas, although I'm also loving the direction Claudia is giving this part of the Timberbridge storyline. Atlas is the youngest of the brothers, a boy who suffered the loss of his mother when he was very young and soon discovered that his father was not who he imagined. It was painful to learn more about the abuse he suffered due to the toxic family environment he grew up in. I also enjoyed reading more about his relationship with Therese: how difficult it was for her at first (obviously), but how despite everything, she ended up loving him and accepting him as another son. It also melted my heart to know that Atlas was always there when she needed him. Another thing I loved about this character was that, like his brothers, Atlas is a grump, BUT he is also the sweetest of them all and the one who finds it easiest to show what he feels, and I loved that he gave that part of his personality to Blythe!
Blythe has been one of the most painful and complex Claudia characters I've read, and I think that's why I loved this book so much: she's a woman who, despite being terrified due to her husband's abuse, finds the strength within herself to run away and seek a better life. It was painful to read her so afraid, sometimes even of Atlas's reactions, not knowing who she really is and needing to always have a backup plan to stay safe. One of the things I liked most about this character, and the book in general, was the complexity of Blythe's feelings about her pregnancy due to the great trauma she experienced and her situation as a fugitive.
Atlas & Blythe have a love story that builds little by little and I love that he's ALWAYS observant enough to realize what she needs from him, especially in their first interactions when Blythe is terrified of trusting someone again, I really liked that these two get a little closer with each chapter, that they learn to trust each other, that Atlas is the first to realize how he really feels and that he starts planning his life including Blythe and her baby in it and since they have a lot to overcome (personal things, family drama and the mysteries of Birchwood Springs) I think the ending the author gave them was more than perfect for them.
This weekend I finally finished the audiobook of When Love Found Us and it became my favorite in the series! I've enjoyed all of the The Timberbridge Brothers audiobooks, but this one was a plus because of the duet narration, which gave me everything I expected from the story.
Another detail that I loved about this audiobook was hearing Vanessa Edwin bring Blythe to life because this narrator is perfect for emotionally charged characters, she ALWAYS manages to convey her characters' most painful feelings to me and she was the perfect person to play this heroine. I am also LOVING that Claudia Burgoa chose Sean Masters for her books, I loved the way he played Atlas from beginning to end, but what I loved the most was hearing him in the scenes of this character falling in love with Blythe.

#Review: *When Love Found Us* - Claudia Burgoa - ARC [18+] 4.7/5✨ 2.5/5🌶️
I've recently read another book by the author and it made me curious about this one. It's part of 'The Timberbridge Brothers' series, being the 3rd book, but it can also be read as a standalone too. Thank you so much for this early copy, Claudia & team!
Henrietta lives in a toxic and abusive arranged marriage, where she doesn't feel safe anymore. So, she decides to runaway from there, even though she had no idea where to go. She will end up in the small town of Birchwood Springs, but where she will still not be sure that her powerful husband won't find her.
She made up another identity, being now known as Blythe, but her lie will be fast recognized by Atlas Timberbridge, for whom she'll end up working for. Atlas has recently returned to town, being convinced that that was the best thing to do. But his past made him recognize the fear Blythe was trying to hide and, unconsciously, made him super protective of her. But will she be able to escape her husband for good?
This book had such a slow burn and it was filled with so much uncertainty. The suspense of Blythe's situation was super intense, especially towards the ending. Even though Atlas didn't seem super trustful at first, Blythe became pretty addicted to his presence, feeling safe around him. The forced proximity they were in has transformed very slowly the initial strangers status to a lovers one. Of course, the small town they lived in forced them to do some other silly things that weren't planned, but that only brought them even closer and made them stronger.
Honestly, I liked this story a bit more than the previous one, connecting better with the characters and action. I liked their bound and how the spirit of protectiveness was activated in the situation they were in. Awesome read!
I absolutely loved When Love Found Us by Claudia Burgoa; it is a small-town fake marriage love story. It is the third book in her The Timberbridge Brothers series. Claudia Burgoa shows that she is an amazing storyteller, and she is a one click, must read author for me. I was hooked from the first few pages of When Love Found Us, it was impossible to put down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? Love the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists included in When Love Found Us. When Love Found Us is the story of Blythe Olsen (Henrietta Worthington) and Atlas Timberbridge, tattoo artist and owner of Timber & Ink tattoo parlor. Henrietta ran away from her abusive husband, Winston Reginald Worthington IV. She changed her name to Blythe Olsen as she moves from one small town to another. Atlas meets Blythe at The Honey Drop the local bakery and coffee shop. Atlas recognizes that Blythe is hiding from her past. He then offers her a job at Timber & Ink as the receptionist. Blythe shares her story with Atlas, and he realizes that her life might be in danger, he requests the help of his brother, Malerick, the Birchwood Springs sheriff, Sanford, and the Crait Quantum Shield. Blythe reveals that she discovered that she is pregnant. Atlas proposes a fake marriage to keep her safe and away from the Birchwood Springs gossip. The teams keep track of Winston’s whereabouts after he filed a missing person’s report for his wife Henrietta claiming that she is a danger to herself and others. Blythe moves into Atlas’s apartment above the tattoo parlor. Things between Blythe and Atlas change, but neither one of them is willing to admit their true feelings for one another, because of their trust issues and abusive relationships. Both see Birchwood Springs as their temporary home. They do not pursue a relationship with each other as long as Blythe is married to Winston. Atlas and Sanford work together to find a way to help Blythe file for divorce from Winston while hiding. I love the sizzling chemistry between Blythe and Atlas and the push and pull of conversations between them flow so easily, with flirting, innuendos, and playful banter. I love all the little things that Atlas does for the Blythe and her baby. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations between Blythe and Atlas and how they each reveal secrets of their childhoods. I love how the Timberbridge brothers have come together protect Blythe. I love that the brothers begin to reconcile in spite of their traumatic childhood, especially Atlas and Ledger. I loved that When Love Found Us is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Blythe and Atlas are facing that need to be resolved, and there is a plot twist that threatens their lives and their relationship. I love Atlas’s role in resolving part of the plot twist. I love how Claudia Burgoa has revealed that the events happening in Birchwood Springs will not be resolved until the last book in the series. I love the ending of the love story, and how both Blythe and Atlas change because of their love for one another and everything that they are willing to do to have a life with one another. I love Atlas’s proposal. My favorite part are the epilogues told from Blythe’s and Atlas’s perspective and how they are the perfect ending to their love story. I love all the descriptions of the Birchwood Springs setting. When Love Found Us is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, Claudia Burgoa did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments, plot twists and surprises that filled this page turner. I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. I love how Claudia Burgoa incorporated the title of the book into their love story. I love all the characters in When Love Found Us. They feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Timberbridge brothers and the family dynamic, and their brokenness, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed When Love Found Us, who does not love a fake marriage close proximity love story. It was such an enjoyable book to read. Cannot wait to discover what is really going on in Birchwood Springs and who is really behind it. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Received an advanced copy from the author.
From the first page this book is intense and that intensity only ramps up the further into the story. It starts out like the movie Sleeping With The Enemy with Julia Robert’s, a great movie by the way if you haven’t seen it. Henrietta is married to a monster. Seemingly a great husband to others, it’s a whole different story when it’s just the two of them. He controls every single aspect of her life and is punished with severe physical punishment if she strays one tiny little bit, with expectations constantly changing. She’s almost disappeared. He’s isolated her completely and her parents raised her to marry this monster and are no help whatsoever, blaming her for the trauma. She knows it’s only a matter of time before he kills so she very slowly and extremely carefully plans her escape and barely manages to escape.
She knows he will find her and therefore is constantly on the run. She has changed her name to Blythe before she ends up in Birchwood Spring. And now if things aren’t bad enough she’s just discovered she is pregnant. But finally something potentially good is about to happen. With very little money left she stops in a coffee shop and the owner sensing that Blythe is on the run, enlists the hero, Atlas to help Blythe.
Now Atlas is a very complex and fascinating hero and I mean hero in every sense of the word. He’s a very skilled tattoo artist who can’t settle in one town. He’s a loner and a wanderer. This is the third book in this series and I haven’t read the first two books. But I think he’s a secondary book in a previous book. In this book he was previously in some secret organization that takes out the bad guys, permanently. He grew up in Birchwood Springs but had a horrible childhood and this is the last place he wants to return to but he’s maneuvered into it by his former boss. But he has history in Birchwood Springs which includes older step brothers that hate him and the feeling is mutual. He and Blythe arrive in town very close to the same time and the owner of the coffee shop, Delilah is one of his few friends and pleads with him to hire Blythe at a tattoo parlour he’s in the process of opening. Atlas has no desire whatsoever but underneath his very grumpy, very loner type manner is a hero well deserving of that title. He meets Blythe and he’s done for. He will do anything it takes to save her. He knows how damaged and vulnerable she is and he’s so gentle and tender and protective of her, that he’s all in, making sure her husband will never get her.
So that’s the basic outline of the story. Once I started getting into this book, I couldn’t put it down and pulled a couple of near all nighters because I had to know what was going to happen next. There is so much to this book. Why is there such animosity with his brothers? Why can’t he settle down? What was he involved with in his past and why does he think he’s so undeserving of any kind of happiness? He’s a 10 out of 10 as a hero. And Blythe is about a 9 out of 10 as a heroine. She’s terrified and her only instinct is to run but Atlas reluctantly convinces her to stay and he will slay her dragons. We aren’t sure if she will really do as he asks and trust him. But Atlas knows he can’t make her. She needs to be given the option of making her own decisions. And my heart just melts over how he feels about her unborn child. In his heart he knows that this baby is his to protect, not the monster who physically impregnated her.
And something that I give kudos too, while I love a good sex scene in a book, I’m also somewhat picky. Too lengthy and descriptive and I go into skim territory. I was about 3/4 through this book, while there was oh so much stream, as yet the kettle hadn’t fully boiled if you get my point. If things didn’t reach a climax between these two ( ha, ha get it?) I would have been slightly disappointed but still would give this my highest rec, but they did take their love to its hopeful conclusion and it was perfection, everything I could have hoped for.
While I did manage to fill in most of the blanks from the previous 2 books, my recommendation to others who might be interested in reading this book is to read the first two books before this one. They are all on KU and I already have the first one in my library cued up.
So yes, I 100% recommend this book. I know I’ll be reading it again after going back to pick up the first two and then moving on to the books after this one. So if you like RS romance, heck, even if you don’t, read this book. It will make you a believer in the trope.
When Love Found Us is the 3rd book in the Timberbridge Brothers series, and it’s a small town, romantic suspense. Blythe is a woman on the run/woman in hiding from her abusive sociopathic husband. She left to save her life, but then she found out that she was pregnant. She ends up on Atlas’s doorstep, needing a job and frightened about being found out. Atlas is the stepbrother of the Timberbridge brothers, and isn’t particularly welcomed. He is a tattoo artist, and has recently come back to town. He has a past with an intelligence group. Atlas knew that Blythe was in trouble, and he took her in to keep her safe. They slowly fell in love with each other.
Atlas is a fantastic book boyfriend! He didn’t fall for Blythe right away, but he was still willing to help her. He had a protective nature about him with his “who hurt you” vibes. When he did fall in love with Blythe, he had the “my woman/my wife” vibe! Atlas didn’t care that Blythe’s baby was not his, he saw that her baby was his not the man who systematically hurt her. Blythe was his woman, carrying his baby! He did everything he could to protect his woman and child! Blythe is a very strong heroine. She had the fortitude to leaving her abusive husband, who she knew had a lot of power. She didn’t trust easily, but she had enough common sense to trust Atlas and his family with her and her baby’s safety. I love the mental health rep, because therapy is very important. The secondary characters were well written. The romance is swoony and well paced with how they went from strangers to intimate partners. This was a slow burn romance, and the suspense plot did fit with the overarching plot of the series. The audiobook was everything! Vanessa Edwin brought the emotions, and Sean Masters brought the gruff, grumpiness. The audiobook is performed in duet-style.
Thank you to Claudia Burgoa for the ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
When Love Found Us is story of second chances. Blythe and Atlas story was beautifully written. I truly believe they both came into each other’s lives at the perfect time. Blythe is escaping her abusive husband. And she lands in the small town of Birchwood Springs. Her life changes for the better. Even when danger is lurking Atlas takes a chance with her reluctantly at first. His mission is to protect her and her unborn child. He goes in protective mode. You not only see obstacles between the danger along with some drama with his family.
Atlas and Blythe story was everything I enjoyed in a small town, family drama, overprotective hero and the slow burn romance. I really love this story and this little town. And I can’t wait to read more of the Timberbridge clan.
Ooooh my goodness Claudia Burgoa has done it again!! This is book 3 in the Timberbridge series and my favourite of them all so far. The character growth and progression is phenomenal 🤩 One of the things I love about the Timberbridge series is that the romance story lines are stand alone and but the suspense storyline carries over the series. However, you don’t need to have read the previous two books in the series to understand the suspense storyline as Claudia Burgoa does such an amazing job of describing the previous suspense history and then expanding on it, without it feeling repetitive.
If you are a fan of books that have a broody, protective hero, fake marriages, forced proximity, small town, he falls first, secret pregnancy and the perfect slow burn…look no further!!! Highly recommend you grab this book on release date (June 11th 2025)
This story is full of drama, suspense, and hints of physical, emotional abuse. Living a life not your own, pre arranged marriages, by parents for financial purposes and doesn't matter who or what horrible things the intended mate will do. For her survival she plans and plots her escape. This story will show you there are people who are willing to help, you just have to be open to it. Beautiful story ❤️
Henrietta ran from her abusive husband. She knew if she didn't take the chance and leave, she'd never survive him. Now she's starting over with a new name, a new town, and a protector in Atlas Timberbridge. She's starting to feel for her fake husband, though, even though she's still in danger, with a baby on the way. Atlas may not be her baby's father but she's starting to think he could be their dad. If they can deal head-on with her husband, perhaps this fake marriage stands a chance of becoming real.
Atlas doesn't really settle and do commitments. The way he was raised has colored his perception of love and relationships, and in no way is he looking for any of that. Then a chance meeting with Blythe has his world turned on its head. He recognizes the fear in her eyes and suddenly he wants to protect her - from her husband, from their town, from anything that wants to hurt her. But what he really wants? Everything. He wants the whole thing - a real marriage, fatherhood, the whole nine yards. And they can have it, once they deal with her husband.
I didn't even realize I needed this story until I started reading it. Blythe couldn't have been a stronger heroine, she was downright inspirational. Her strength, her heart, and her determination to finally get out from beneath her husband's abusive thumb, I LOVE reading as she healed, grew, and fell in love with a man the complete opposite of her horrible husband. And then there's Atlas, I'm so glad Claudia gave Blythe a man of equal character to her, with a protective heart, one who needed healing just as she did. I'm so glad they were able to heal with each other, to find the other half of their soul.
Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!
When Love Found Us The Timberbridge Brothers By: Claudia Burgoa Narrated by: Vanessa Edwin & Sean Masters
Wow, this fantastic small town romance pulls you in right from the start, grabbing your attention and your heartstrings, holding both tightly until the very end. Another Timberbridge brother returns to Birchwood Springs, his hometown, and it is not a happy return or reunion with his other brothers. Atlas Timberbridge is the outcast of the family, never accepted or fitting in with his half-brothers, but loved by his step-mom, who included him in her will. Atlas is a talented and sought after tattoo artist, and he never had to give up his wandering ways because he is an accepted guest at many tattoo parlors and his clients find him. He also has a hidden past, working for an organization who gets things done and with everything going on in Birchwood Springs with his father’s property and business, there are investigations going on and protections in place, as well as look outs. Atlas’ familiarity with the area and people makes him an asset, despite not being the friendliest or very social, but he will run his own tattoo parlor in town with living quarters included. Blythe escapes from her abusive, controlling husband and is on the run, landing in Birchwood Springs, where she lines up a job, and then has another handed to her. Atlas sees how skittish she is and knows she is hiding something, but hires her for his business, regardless. Once he finds out what is going on with her, he goes into full protective mode and has his connections to look into her ex, who is not a good man. Neither was looking to get involved with anyone, but the chemistry between these two was undeniable. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all plays out, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, some thrilling and suspenseful moments, lots of heartfelt emotions and slow burn, but so worth the wait romance. As always with Burgoa’s books, the writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. I also loved how she pieced things together and seeing the start of the brothers letting go of the anger of their past, hope to see more healing of themselves and their relationships in the future. Claudia Burgoa, thanks for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Vanessa Edwin and Sean Masters deliver a fantastic performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each a voice that is fitting and is convincing in every role. Edwin’s portrayal of Blythe was spot on, grasping every aspect of her personality, her from her skittish side to her strength and determination. Masters nails it as Atlas, and was just as fabulous showcasing his personality, his angst, his protectiveness and caring side. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary/side characters too. Setting the perfect tone for the story, they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feel each one. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complement each and a performance that keeps you glued to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
This is book three in The Timberbridge Brother’s series and it is Atlas and Blythe’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Blythe was abused again by her husband she decided that she has had enough and needed to leave before he killed her so now she is on the run moving from town to town to avoid him finding her and then she ended up in Birchwood Springs and she decided to find a job and stay for a little while especially when she found out that she was pregnant and she realised that she wouldn’t let her husband know because he would control her even more and her baby would be in danger. Atlas didn’t have a easy childhood and now travels from place to place so he doesn’t have to settle anywhere especially Birchwood Springs but unfortunately that is where he ended up when a friend decided that he needed to return and open a tattoo shop with him being a fantastic tattoo artist but he wasn’t keen on being that close to his 1/2 brother’s who he didn’t get on with so he needed to keep his distance from them. When Atlas and Blythe meet there is a connection between them but with them both having trust issues and secrets and when Atlas finds out what Blythe had been hiding he was determined to keep her and her baby safe and protected but it also opened the biggest can of worms ever and he will do anything and everything possible to keep her alive regardless of what he has to do or the consequences involved because there was no way that her abusive husband was coming anywhere near her especially as it reminded him of his own childhood so now they need to plan and eliminate the threat before it takes everything away from them because Atlas wants a future with Blythe and nobody will take it away from him and he will do anything to guarantee that it happens along as Blythe doesn’t run before he can show hr just how much she means to him. Blythe had gone through so much at the hands of her husband and even though she constantly wants to run because she knows what the consequences will be if he finds her but now she had put her trust in Atlas even though it was a hard decision and she hopes that he can deliver on what he promised because her feelings for him are so strong and she wants a future with him if he will have her. Atlas and Blythe are so perfect together and for each other and you find yourself hoping that they can sort everything out and get that happy ending together because they are so much stronger together than apart. Wow this book will take you on the biggest rollercoaster ride of so many emotions that will have you in tears as they both battle through everything in their lives and you will find yourself so engrossed in the story that you will feel like you are there living through it all with them. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting because it kept my attention throughout as it was so addictive and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing and emotional series. Claudia Burgoa is a incredible author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading but make sure that you have the tissues ready because you are going to need them as she will pull all of your emotions out while breaking your heart and then put you back together in the most beautiful way.
When Love Found Us is the third book in Burgoa's The Timberbridge Brothers series. This small town, slow burn romance features Henrietta Worthington (aka Blythe Olsen) and Atlas Timberbridge.
Henrietta was married to Winston Reginald Worthington IV, a man who abused her. When she finally gets the courage to flee, the keeps moving trying to get as far away from him as possible. She knows her husband is a powerful man, with the money and resources he would need to find her. She just needs to find a small town which is off the radar and make some money to sustain her, especially when she thinks she might be pregnant. When Henrietta (aka Blythe) finds herself in Birchwood Springs, she enters into The Honey Drop where she is introduced to Atlas.
Atlas left Birchwood Springs ages ago and swore he wouldn't return only he didn't know he would be presented with an offer he couldn't refuse. So now he is back in town to run his own tattoo shop. He has committed to two years and then is certain he will be back to living out of his duffle bag, moving from shop to shop working as a guest artist. He didn't account for his clients choosing to follow him to the small town.
Atlas has his suspicions about Blythe, but pushes her to reveal her truth. He is a protector, and uses his connections to get her a false ID. Blythe Olsen quickly becomes Blythe Timberwood and the two start a fake marriage. Atlas moves her into his small home to take of her. She works at his shop as the receptionist. He cooks for her, and tends to her every need, blurring the lines of their fake relationship.
Things are okay until Malerick, Atlas' brother and the town sheriff, shows up and shares that in his quest to find her, Winston filed a missing person's report and claimed that she was a danger to herself. The brothers do their best to keep her hidden away, but they know it is only a matter of time...
I love Burgoa's writing. She is a wonderful storyteller and I love how each of the books in this series is a standalone story, but she continues to weave in the underlying story of the Hallow Syndicate and their nefarious intentions. These two characters definitely have chemistry together. The slow burn is delicious as the two dance around each other, trying to keep their distance. I appreciated Atlas' possessiveness without any aspect of needing to control her. His respect for her is a beautiful thing. I also really enjoyed Blythe's headstrong, willful and determined. After escaping her abuser, she clearly has backbone and won't be told what to do.
In addition to reading the book, I also listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Vanessa Edwin & Sean Masters. The two did a fantastic job, truly embodying the characters and bringing them to life. Once I hit play, I didn't want to stop. I found their interpretation of the writing to be riveting. Both portrayed the characters with the perfect amount of emotion.
I can't wait for the rest of the series. Midnight Between Us will be Keir's story, which should be coming in July. Then last, but not least, will be The Last Call Home, which should be Malerick's story, as well as the conclusion of the underlying mystery. I encourage you to check out this series, and start with Ledger's story - Pretend We Are Us. You won't regret it!
This series has me in an official choke hold! The next installment in The Timberbridge Brother; When Love Found Us, brings us back to the small town and the brothers we have all come to love and adore. As always, I recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it, but each book in the series can be read as a standalone. This is a small town, fake-marriage romance with fantastic characters and spicy scenes.
Blythe aka Henrietta is a woman on the run. From whom you ask? Her abusive husband, a man of means and wealth. She has changed her name, moves from town to town, never staying too long. At her newest stop, a town called Birchwood Springs she meets Atlas, it’s like he knows she is running, how tired she is, how she needs help but doesn’t have the courage in her to ask for it. He sees her. Atlas offers her job, something that she needs more than anything, and that is a safe space. That’s when the dam breaks and she spills her entire life story to him.
Including her secret. She’s pregnant.
Atlas is living with his own demons, he is a Timberbridge by blood, but only by half blood, and not by choice. Finding out about who he is and that he has brothers, even if they are only half brothers was a shock to his system, let alone how some of them were acting. (Ledger) The family drama is heartbreaking and hard to read in some parts, but as the relationships come to grow and mend, they are even more moving and memorable.
When Atlas meets Blythe he knows she needs help, when he learns her story, learns what is at stake and that not only her life, but her baby's life could be in danger, he offers a solution. He proposes a fake marriage, one that after some conveniences on Blythe’s part, she agrees to. As they spend more and more time together, they slowly start to fall for each other, but neither of them act on their feelings why Blythe is still married. Together, with the help of his brothers and friends, they find a way for Blythe to divorce her husband, but still keep her safe.
This was just an enjoyable read. Atlas is a sweetheart, and when it comes to Blythe and her baby he doesn’t fool around. They are his to protect and he doesn’t care who he has to take down to do it. The plot is engaging and easy to keep up with, the romance is a slow burn, the relationship between our main leads is made so much better by that fact too. CB has a way of building such amazing worlds, and the Timberbridge family is one of my favorites. The family interactions and drama add another level of intrigue to the small town making it more interesting to read. Either way, I will forever be back for this series.

With each book, this series has gotten better & this has been my favorite of them all so far. This is quite an emotional book & one with a lot of character development & some tough topics, but I LOVED it. This series is about 5 brothers who harbor resentment towards each other because of the hurt they experienced from the past. With every book, you see this group of siblings come together to support & help their brother & it's been great reading each of their stories. These brothers are all broody, possessive & grumpy men, yet their devotion to family & those they love is rock solid.
I was immediately pulled into the story of Henrietta (aka Blythe.), a woman who escapes from her abusive, controlling husband with the hopes of finding a new life. She's on the run & lands in Birchwood Springs with not much to her name. She's looking for work & finds a job working in Atlas Timberbridge's tattoo parlor. He's been the outcast in his family, never felt accepted by his step-brothers but dearly loved by his stepmom. He's running away from a secret past, too. He's back home to try & start over.
Love is the furthest thing from either of their minds, but yet these two are drawn to each another. Blythe is in danger & needs help & Atlas comes to her rescue. Their chemistry is undeniable, but she's still married to a man whose looking for her & finds out she's pregnant on top of it. She feels hopeless. There's a friendship & trust that grows with Atlas & she tells him about her husband & what she's facing moving forward.
There are so many heartfelt moments in this added with angst, longing & some drama. Things get scary when they realize that Blythe's husband has found out where she is & Atlas is determined to keep her & the baby safe. As with many of Claudia's books, this one burns SLOW, but there is such a beautiful ending for these two.
With each book, we see these brothers begin to let go of past anger & mend their family relationships back together. I enjoyed this one so much!
🎧Why the audio? Oh man... Vanessa & Sean are a perfect PAIRING! I love these two guys together. Sean & Vanessa effortlessly breathe life into these two characters & their complicated pasts. There are so many emotional & tough scenes & Vanessa is so articulate as she tells Blythe's story. She was just so impressive at expressing what Blythe went through with her abusive husband. So eloquent & heartfelt. Her narration is so captivating. I could listen to her all day. Atlas is so possessive & protective & Sean's deep, low voice was perfect👌 for this character, all while giving you lots of tender & touching moments that he experiences with Blythe.
The slow burn kisses, intimate conversations & pulsating climax really made this story for me & it all leads to the sweetest HEA. The epilogues on this one were so dang sweet. This family has gotten a hold of me & I can't wait to see what happens next.
Thanks to author Claudia Burgoa for a copy of the ALC.
When Love Found Us is book three in The Timberbridge Brothers series by Claudia Burgoa. This time we learn more about the outcast of the family Atlas and his unexpected attraction to Blythe, who has just arrived in town. It is a slow burn, he falls first, fake marriage and secret pregnancy story. There is some suspense as the brothers are still fighting to protect their town from The Hollow Syndicate and Blythe is on the run from her abusive husband, so danger is lurking around every corner.
Atlas had a hard life after his mother died and it turned out his father had another family. The four Timberbridge brothers never accepted their younger step brother so he swore he’d never return but his step mother then his best friend needed his help. Now his friend Sanford has set him up with a tattoo parlour in town.
Blythe has been moving from town to town attempting to build a new life for herself. Turns out she’s pregnant so life just got more complicated. On arriving in Birchwood Springs she is immediately befriended by Delilah at The Honey Pot, who sees she is exhausted but full of secrets. She offers her a job but suggests to Atlas that he also employs her.
Atlas notices she looks like she’s ready to bolt and realises she hiding from someone so feels protective of her. She’s stubborn, defiant and good at pretending she’s fine. She hates accepting help and depending on someone as she’s just found her freedom but agrees to the job and place to live. Atlas doesn’t want to involve Sanford but there’s no other options to help her. Revelations mean things are not going to be as easy as he’d hoped, especially as there is now a baby to consider.
I felt sorry for her situation but laughed when she found out her new identity was Mrs Timberbridge!! Can she love a child who will always remind her of Winston and what he did to her. She keeps fighting against Atlas but knows deep down they in this together now. The moments it seems more real then fake increase between them. Broody and grumpy Atlas is great as he makes her believe she doesn't have to do everything alone and understands what she’s been through as he’s experienced it himself. He’s so patient and caring with her and slowly realises he can’t walk away from her now even if he wanted to. She pulls him in, confuses him and throws him off completely.
They open up to each other and we find out more about Atlas and his past. He’s falling fast but needs to keep her and the baby safe as he now thinks of them both as his. Add in a little family drama, more truths revealed and trust issues as Blythe worries she’s put Atlas in danger. An action packed and very satisfying ending for the couple, with a few more surprises, the start of the brothers reconciliation and teasers for the next book.

🎙Narrated by: Vanessa Edwin & Sean Masters 🎙
Vanessa and Sean performed this in a duet style narration and it was ✨️chef's kiss 💋 😘 ✨️ They did such an amazing job bringing Blythe and Atlas to life! I couldn't get enough of Sean/Atlas growl that he does 😍. He was the ultimate broody MMC and he did an FANTASTIC job!! Vanessa came in with Blythe and gave her the voice that she deserved! Blythe had that soft tone that really gave us what we needed to imagine her demeanor and how she was in general.
Another huge ♾️🌟 win for Claudia Burgoa!! I sweat this series just keeps getting better and better with each brother!! I was soooo excited for Atlas's story and it did not disappoint!! I loved his broody self and his growls 😍. Atlas was always the one brother that I wanted to read the most but I feel like there is sooo much more to Atlas than what we got in this book! He definitely gave me all the protector vibes I never knew I needed! He was such a great person. I absolutely loved how much he was willing to do to protect Blythe and her unborn baby!
Atlas definitely is a man of mystery who chooses not to show his cards. If he does it's a very small part that is indistinguishable. I couldn't get enough of him and I am sad that his book is over!!
Blythe was a character that I wasn't prepared for. I didn't realize how much I would have had in common with her until the end of the book. Some of her traits like reading someone's body language and their moods definitely hit home. I have been doing this since I was a kid, due to having narcissistic parents. You always have to be able to read them and anticipate the worst. Blythe unfortunately had a horrendous husband who was nothing short of a monster. Don't even get me started on her family.
My little heart 💕💗 went pitter patter when she really started to be her true self. She was able to spread her wings and feel the safety she always needed from Atlas. They had some amazing chemistry and I couldn't bave loved them more!
I am so beyond excited to continue this series!

Thank you so much to Claudia Burgoa for the free ARC/ ALC copy 🫶🏻. All opinions✨️ are my own, honest and voluntary✨️.
TROPES: small town romance, romantic suspense, neighbors to roommates to lovers, broody MMC, FMC who are healing, heroine on the run/in hiding, secret identity, Tattoo artist MMC, pregnant but it's not his baby, protective hero, fake dating/fake marriage
Okay, this book deals with some heavy and heart breaking topics (DV) so be kind to yourself and check the trigger list, but so long as you're comfortably I can't recommend this book enough—Especially if you love an emotional read that will grab your heart right out of your chest and not let go from start to finish.
At the very beginning we meet Henrietta, who later goes by the alias Blythe, as she flees an abusive marriage and goes on the run/into hiding to prevent him from ever finding her. Moving from place to place, never sticking around in any one town for too long, she eventually finds herself stepping off the bus in Birchwood Springs. Little did she know her plans of "just passing through" would lead to finding a new forever for her... and her unborn child. The found family trope was immediately set into place and it was through the instant connection she made with Delilah, the local bakery owner, that landed her working for, and living with, Atlas Timberbridge.
Atlas every bit the broody grump. Aloof. Blunt. Resentful of being back in his hometown. And yet, when it becomes clear Blythe isn't quite what she seems and might need some help, he gives her a job at his new tattoo parlor and a roof over her head. I loved how his wary, guardedness and downright suspicious regard for Blythe changed the more they spent time around each other, and the way he didn't hesitate to not only protect her but open his heart to her unborn child was everything.
This book is a slow burn, so while it is open door and there's a lot of early attraction and mutual pining between the MC's, keep in mind that the spice doesn't hit until closer to the end. In a standalone book I personally prefer to see physical connections develop a bit sooner in the storyline so I probably would've liked to see a bit more of them actually embracing and acknowledging the bond between them (physically and emotionally). That's really the only reason it wasn't a full five stars for me. I'd 100% still recommend reading this, though. Especially the audiobook. I did an immersion one for this and Vanessa Edwin and Sean Masters delivered an incredible duet performance.
Thank you so much to the author for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest review!
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐬 is the 3rd book in the new Timberbridge Brothers series by Claudia Burgoa, featuring a must-read emotional romantic suspense story for Atlas and Blythe. He’s the outcast half-brother of the Timberbridge family that fled the town as soon as he could, but now he’s been lured back under the guise of opening a tattoo parlor, unprepared to face the unfair judgment of his brothers. Blythe is a woman on the run from her horrific husband who is as powerful as he is evil. Hoping to find some solace in the small town charm of Birchwood Springs, she wasn’t prepared for the utter magnetism of the broody, Atlas Timberbridge. Who knew there were men out there who would pretend to be married to a stranger, just to protect her from the danger on her trail? Can these two damaged souls find happiness together after experiencing such cruelty?
Oh my! Claudia Burgoa knocks it out of the park once again with Atlas Timberbridge! These brothers are in a class all by themselves, I swear! Prepare to have your heart shredded by Blythe’s traumatic story, while also being inspired by her strength and fortitude. She took the greatest risk and rescued herself. And Atlas? That man was just everything! His history mirrored hers in many ways, but he always put others first. The authenticity of the emotion throughout was top notch, and I especially loved how sensitive Atlas was with her, so in tune to her needs. He was the ultimate overprotective caretaker, ready to burn the world down for her. As with the first two books, the suspense and twists were laid out beautifully, drawing the reader in, and having as ready to beg for more! The romance aspect was a slow burn, which was appropriate for the magnitude of the emotion, but the pay-off was chef’s kiss! The ending absolutely melted my heart, and I’m excited to see if the next brother can top Atlas in my eyes!
The audio was narrated by Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin in Duet! They absolutely slayed it, full stop… the raw emotions, the angst and yearning, the banter, the sibling drama, the suspense, the love! They transported me into the story and made me fall in with love all the characters even more!
I received an ARC/ALC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶.5 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
WHEN LOVE FOUND US is the third book in The Timberbridge Brothers series set in Birchwood Springs. A page-turner indeed! This is not the story you think it is—it is so much more! Get ready to be engaged in a story like no other with slow-burn tension, angst, drama, push and pull, fake marriage, suspense, murder, and action. I was totally captivated when reading/listening 🎧 to this addictive page-turning story. This is Atlas Timberbridge and Henrietta (aka Blythe Olsen) Worthington’s story.
The narrators were awesome! I like hearing the duet version of narration because it makes the story seem more realistic. OMG, I loved Sean Master’s deep voice!
Atlas Timberbridge is one of the four Timberbridge brothers, but only a half-brother—sharing the same father. Atlas’ mother died when he was six years old, and his step-mother, Therese Smith, took him in and loved him. He is part owner of the tattoo shop, Ink Art Gallery. He also worked for a high-security intelligence company called The Organization. Henrietta (aka Blythe Olsen) Worthington was married to a rich and powerful man who was very abusive. When Blythe finally had enough she escaped. While on the run, she somehow ended up in the small town Birchwood Springs.
In the small town, Blythe goes to The Honey Drop coffee shop and meets Delilah, owner, who offers her a job and introduces her to Atlas who has returned to Birchwood Springs. Atlas offers Blythe a job in the tattoo parlor. The chemistry between Atlas and Blythe is undeniable as they are forced together under unusual circumstances. Atlas feels obligated to protect Blythe by having her stay in the apartment above the parlor until the threats against her are resolved. When a situation puts both their lives at risk, will Atlas be able to protect Blythe? Who is behind the threats? The question is, will their burgeoning love survive beneath a shroud of uncertainty and despair? Find out what happened! There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. Claudia Burgoa writes a dynamic story about love, forgiveness, acceptance, and family. I HIGHLY recommend this book!
Tropes: * Grumpy x emotionally wounded sunshine * Runaway heroine * Tattooed protector MMC * Trauma & healing romance * Small town / suspense * One bed (with layers of emotional build-up)
When Love Found Us is not your typical small-town romance — it's raw, intimate, and laced with just the right amount of danger and depth. Claudia Burgoa masterfully tells a story that dives into trauma, trust, and the quiet courage it takes to start over.
The story follows Henrietta/ Blythe, a woman on the run with nothing but secrets and survival instincts to guide her. Her entrance into the quiet town of Birchwood feels like a whisper — and then there's Atlas, a tattoo artist with shadows of his own and zero tolerance for emotional attachment. But fate isn’t exactly asking for their permission.
Burgoa’s writing feels cinematic yet intimate. She paints grief, fear, and hope with equal care, letting readers experience the internal storms that both characters carry. What stands out is how real and slow the healing feels. There’s no “love fixes everything” fantasy here — instead, it’s about choosing each other again and again, even when it’s terrifying.
Highlights
••Henrietta/Blythe is strong in the quietest, fiercest way. Her character doesn’t just survive—she fights to reclaim her voice. ••Atlas is the perfect blend of rugged protector and emotionally guarded loner. His growth is subtle, earned, and deeply satisfying. ••The emotional intimacy is just as powerful as the physical one. Every moment between them is laced with tension and vulnerability. ••The town of Birchwood almost feels like its own character — a refuge, a battleground, a quiet place to finally breathe.
Final Thoughts:
This book is for readers who crave a romance with substance. If you love stories where love is messy, healing is nonlinear, and safety is earned, When Love Found Us will stay with you long after the last page.
It’s a story of found love in the aftermath of violence, of gentle strength, and of the unflinching belief that you are worthy of peace — no matter how broken your past.

Usually it is the plot that captures my attention, the story I want to read. Once in a while it will be the cover. But there was something about this one that caught my eye, and I only hoped that the book, the characters would live up to the high level I set it at. Okay I’ll admit it, it was those eyes, dammit reminding me of someone I had a crush on way back when in high school. I can honestly say, it did not disappoint me at all. A tough guy who inside is so much more and a woman fighting for her life in more ways than one. Both haven’t had an easy childhood and maybe that is what can bring them even closer together.
Atlas Timberbridge was the misfit in the brothers family. His growing up hadn’t been the best and part of that was hatred from his brothers (whole different complicated story). There were two reasons he was back in this small town, because a friend had asked for help and to sell the dispute over the house he was now a part of. He was not expecting to have a full tattoo shop set up for him by his “boss” and a woman with a very trouble history to fall into his lap. But as soon as he saw her, he knew that he had to protect “Blythe” at all costs, even if it meant letting the wall around his heart fall down and put his life at risk for her and the baby who he so wanted to help bring up in this crazy world.
“Blythe Olsen” in actuality was Henrietta Worthington and she was on the run from her worst enemy, her husband, Winston Reginald Worthington IV. Her marriage wasn’t for love, it was because of her parents and her husband wanting full control. Escaping and changing her name was the only way she knew she could live, especially now she was pregnant. Going from small town to small town had worked, she would only stay long enough and then move on. But this town, these people were different especially Atlas. Could she take a risk and stay or would just keep on running?
Thanks to 1852 Media & the author for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
What an Outstanding read. Ms Burgoa has given us readers a well written storyline with drama, suspense, romance with fantastic characters to carry it out. This is book 3 in the Timberbridge Brothers Series and can be read as a standalone. However, I truly recommend reading the first two books first as the characters and the backstory plot continue from book to book. This is Atlas Timberbridge’s story. To say he has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to his brothers and the Timberbridge estate, well, that would be a huge understatement. He left as soon as could and made something of himself, despite his family and upbringing. He’s now a stronger, alpha male with a heart of gold and protective side. But when his mentor convinces him it’s time to return home, and sets him up with his own Tattoo Parlor, he agrees to give it a go for 2 years. On his first day back home, he stops at the coffee shop and there he meets Blythe. There is something about the woman that sparks his protective side. He senses she is in trouble but what kind. She is running from something and definitely has secrets, he’s just got to get her to trust him in order to help her.
This is an amazing story that will grab you in all the feels. Blythe and Atlas bring out something in each other that this reader fell in love with. Both hope there are better things ahead but neither really really believe that’s possible. Can they learn to trust and lean on one another? When danger comes knocking on their door that’s bigger than the both of them, will they be able to accept the help they need as well as the help from each other?
This is a masterfully written series that this reader Highly recommends, starting with book 1: Pretend We are Us, then book 2: Under the Same Sky and now this sensational addition, book 3: When Love Found Us. As for this reader, I can’t wait for #4: Midnight Between Us, to see what happens next with the Timberbridge brothers and the small town of Birchwoods Springs.
Another suspenseful, heart-wrenching story from Claudia Burgoa! Blythe is running away from danger and finds herself in Birchwood Springs. Atlas ends up coming back to Birchwood Springs, where all the bad memories reside.
First of all, let's take a moment to sigh over the cover model! He's so easy on the eyes!
Atlas's protective tendencies are highlighted in this story and I love how he battles within himself, but then realizes that Blythe isn't just another person he helps, she matters to him. Blythe, on the run while pregnant isn't finding it easy. Especially when your husband is well connected. Money, housing and a job are top priorities. When she arrives in Birchwood Springs, the people of the town are so welcoming, she can't help but want to stay. Especially when the broody bad boy with tattoo sleeves offers her a job and a place to stay.
Atlas is the black sheep amongst his step-brothers. Despite the bad blood between them, they still show up for each other. But healing between them begins when they find out about the sacrifices Atlas made for them all those years ago.
Although this is a standalone story, there is a theme that threads through all the books in this series. You won't be lost reading it, but I think you'll enjoy the story more if you read them in order.
I also listened to the audiobook of this story, and I absolutely loved it! I haven't been chasing down stories narrated by Sean Masters, but it feels like he's narrated 6 out of the last 10 books I've listened to. He's such a professional, I can really get into a story with him reading to me. And Vanessa Edwin also did an amazing job of making me feel Blythe's fear, concern, and love for Atlas.
Thank you Claudia Burgoa for this ARC/ALC. The above is my own and personal opinion.
I was really looking forward to Atlas’s story and it didn’t disappoint. Atlas is back in Birchwood Springs and opening his own tattoo parlor. Although, there always seems to be more to Altas’s story and it intrigued me from the beginning.
Henrietta / Blythe is literally running for her life. She fled an abusive, powerful husband and soon after, learns that she is expecting. Through the small-town connections, she ends up working at the tattoo parlor. Atlas recognizes the signs of abuse or assumes Blythe is running from something. He’s protective yet leery of her in the beginning. To protect her identity, they pretend to be married, and she stays with Atlas. Forced proximity leads to high sexual tension. However, it’s a slow burn as their relationship evolves and Atlas puts the priority to keep Blythe safe. Blythe gains her strength and a bit of herself back under Atlas’s care. He manages to protect her without feeling imprisoned like she did with her husband. She brings out his softer, dare I say swoony side the way he dotes on her and the baby.
There’s great suspense leading to the confrontation with her husband but also leading up to a bigger story to come. There is still animosity among the brothers, however as more of their past is realized, they are beginning to understand what the other’s perspective is. They still come together when one is in trouble, and I appreciate that.
Narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Sean Masters. Perfect casting. Vanessa gave all facets of Blythe, from the fear when she’s fleeing her relationship, to the sassy, strong willed woman that challenges Atlas and starts to stand on her own. The low, growly tones of Sean are perfect for the stoic, broody Atlas.
Another hit by Claudia Burgoa and I can’t wait for the rest of this series.
Instead of calling this book a page turner, I should call it a nail biter, because it had me on the edge of the seat, anxious as I read about the menace of an abusive husband in search of the wife who escaped his clutches.
The book starts with a chilling escape scene, then goes into the moment where Blythe meets Atlas and connects with his ice-cold blue eyes, and I was done for. I was incredibly curious about Atlas since the other Timberbridge brothers hate him so much, and it all comes clear in this book. He’s not just a tattoo artist, he’s so much more. A brooding artist who hides a tender heart, who wants to protect and save people who are in situations like he was as a child, powerless and without protection.
When he meets Blythe, the same protection instinct comes to life, except this time there’s also chemistry and an intense sense of wanting. It’s a yummy story and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Atlas deep down inside. Blythe initially irritated with her stubbornness that came out of self-preservation, but once she accepted that this small town was special, she accepted the help.
I liked that there’s a potential danger to the town, known by the sheriff, unknown to the residents, and this issue is used as a common theme in the series, and it’s this issue that is bringing the brothers together, in agreement or disagreement. And of course, the power of women, as in, the partners of the Timberbridge brothers who are the ones forcing the reunion, as they themselves are forming such a strong group of supporting women.
There’s a strong thrum of suspense through the book, like a waiting in suspense feeling, and a great pace that made the book such a page turner. I enjoyed this book a lot, especially seeing Atlas and Blythe finally getting to stop running, stay, and just be. Finally finding a home with each other. Great story!
📚📚📚 This is my first time reading a book by Claudia Burgos and omg I’m obsessed and need so many more!! This book truly had me in a chokehold and sitting my pretty butt in the couch until I finished. I felt so many emotions while reading this and the tears definitely flowed at points. From the moment I met Blythe in this book she had my heart. She’s terrified on the run from her abusive scary husband. This poor woman 😢 But this is how she ends up meeting Atlas!!! And let’s just say instantly this over protective man stole my heart! He’s that perfect book boyfriend I’m always on the hunt for! These two seriously went through so much that it was hard to trust and love at first. But ohhh once they did it was everything!! I don’t wanna give away to much more because obsessed is all I am with this one. I can’t highly recommend it enough!
Me running to go add more books by Claudia to my tbr!!

✨if you had to change your identity tomorrow, what new name are you picking?
When Love found Us has been my favorite of the series so far. I’m not sure if it’s because this story felt like it was heavier on the suspense or if I just really liked Atlas best out of the brothers we’ve met so far, but this story was so enjoyable that I binged it all day long. I adored the relationship that slowly built between Blythe and Atlas, their slow burn chemistry was the biggest tease. This story will pull at your heartstrings. Blythe is on the run from an abusive marriage and winds up in town just when she needs help the most. This is where Atlas reluctantly steps in. I adored how Atlas was such a grumpy teddy bear, but he stepped up and took care of Blythe when she really needed to catch a break. While they are falling for each other, the threats circle closer. This slow burn, heroine on the run, roommates to lovers, forced proximity, small town romance is a fantastic addition to the series.
In audio, Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin were perfect for Atlas and Blythe. Sean has the perfect grumpy voice for Atlas, the grumpy tattoo artist who really doesn’t want to be in town. Vanessa is always one of my favorite female narrators and performs Blythe’s quiet strength and immense vulnerability perfectly.
The story arc of the series continues, with the brothers doing what they can to protect their small town from the Syndicate. I’m so intrigued to see how this will all come together and also was quite interested in the hints Claudia dropped about another of the brothers. I also love that as this series continues, the Timberbridge brothers are starting to find common ground, resolve their issues with the past, and are finding acceptance in the town. This series is a cozy read, that is steamy and suspenseful, and isa fantastic binge read.
