This was an exciting book in the series, Marcus I love him and Georgia is still on the (getting on my last nerve) list but she is almost off it.
In this story we are starting to get a clearer picture of what and who Georgia is and we are getting answers to why she insists on hiding within in herself. Marcus is undeterred and has claimed Gigi as his mate and in the same way she has claimed Marcus as her mate. The thing is, now in the light of the day Georgia (Gigi) tries to go back but its too late because now they are bonded and linked. Now that I am understanding her more, I can almost sympathize with the situation. What do you do when you have always been out in the open but have managed to hide yourself at the same time? And what happens when those heavily guarded gates and fortresses you have been are coming down one by one? Do you stand still and allow them to keep tumbling down or in your fear to turn and run? This has been Georgia's (Gigi) existence for so long, that she doesn't know how to let anyone in. Now with her powers threatening to manifest itself because she is mated and she is now in danger, Marcus will no longer allow her to run.
Marcus has the patience Job and he is exactly the Man/Shifter for her. Marcus knows things run kind of deep with Georgia but he doesn't realize how deep it is until their joining. He sees Georgia and needs answers and since she is still fighting their mating, he begins to seek out the one person who knows but before he can go to her, Her mother Genevieve shows up at his house. Revealing secrets long since buried but not forgotten and in a move where her parents believed they were doing what was best for her may have pushed her into here destiny quicker and only Marcus will be able to be the anchor that Georgia is going to need.
Marcus will take care of Georgia in his own way, with no interference from anyone else. But the time has gone up and he thrusts Gigi into her position with dire circumstances.
Get ready for the finale which in the final story in this series, "Midnight Born: A Paranormal Romance (The Golden Pack Alphas Book 5)".

This book is based around Georgia Walker she is a hybrid were, she's half wolf shifter and half witch from her mother. Georgia is also an alpha female her father is her packs alpha Darius Walker is alpha to Golden pack. Because of her hybrid status the rest of the pack don't really trust her and she also has powers like she can tell if someone is lieing and is stronger than a full were wolf. Marcus Legrand works for the high council doing there, he also had secrets that the council know about. Marcus also gave Georgia a nickname of Gigi. Marcus and Georgia don't really get on, now that's an understatement Georgia hates him. There is trouble a head for the pack and Georgia and Marcus will have to work together. I hope there is more of the series to come I would like to read more abut the pack member and other alphas in the area.
