When a group of bloodthirsty zombies attacks her home late one night, Eileen is forced to confront her deepest fears about her life and her lackluster marriage, and in the process, discovers there may be something worth saving after all. But first, she must live through the night…
If you're a fan of zombies, engaging writing, and books you can't put down until you finish, this is for you! I received Coop in a giveaway, and honestly it's probably one of my favorite quick reads. You feel for the characters, there is beautiful and chilling imagery, and it's worth every penny. I'll certainly be snagging William's other books, he's made a fan out of me! My only complaint is this left me wanting more.
This is a great short story about zombies. It has all the detail and action in just a few pages that paints a picture of despair in the lives of everyday folks faced with a thing they cannot truly comprehend. The conclusion of the story is an inevitability that the character portrays by simply opening a door and accepting her fate. Great short read
I enjoy the writing style of William Esmont. This short story is no exception. A bit haunting as expected. There is hope for the principal characters as the short story unfolds. The ending is a perfect example of true love. A good introduction into this authors work.
