Sure, he found me. But should he keep me? That remains to be seen…
My life was officially a disaster.
Between my stalker, the crimes I suspected my boss was committing, and a totally inconvenient car accident, I was in way over my head. The last thing I needed was a new romance.
Then I met him.
Jack Sanders owns the city’s leading security company. He’s rich. Protective. Sexier than he has any right to be. There was no reason for him to swoop in and play knight in shining armor to my damsel in distress when I needed him the most.
But he did.
And the truly shocking part? He seems to want me as much as I want him.
I won’t fool myself into thinking he’s my happily ever after, though. He deserves better than a woman with trouble written all over her. I should walk away.
Too bad every thought of what I should be doing escapes me when I’m in his arms…
Found By Him, book one in the Nashville Security series, is a light angsty, emotional, spicy bodyguard contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. Download today to find the romantic escapism you never knew you needed.
Sara Evou loves love more than anything. Her favorite thing to write is curvy, older women and their down bad men. After years of being unable to express her creativity in her job as an accountant, she decided to channel her love of romance into her own stories. She’s lived everywhere from Reno to Colorado to DC, but currently calls Nashville home. When she isn’t reading, writing, or thinking about writing, she enjoys traveling, pole dancing, baking at home, and playing with her sweet pup.

I just discovered a new author, and I think it’s fair to say she’s joining my list of favorites! I really dig Sara Evou’s writing style! After leaving the military, Jack Sanders dabbled in mercenary work for a couple of years. However, the endless travel and lack of stability wore him out. Eventually, he decided to settle down in Nashville to be near his cousin Becky. Before long, Jack and his buddy Nate teamed up to launch a high-end security company.
Gisella Easton “Ella
Goodness, this woman has so much happening in her life… she’s completely swamped.
Where do I even start? Ella’s got a stalker who leaves notes on her car and sends her texts. Initially, they didn’t seem too threatening, but they definitely escalated. She even attempted to file a police report, but it felt like they weren’t really taking her seriously.
On top of that, someone’s been embezzling money from her workplace, which is just another headache for her. … That was another nightmare in the making
And let’s not forget the traffic accident where she met the most attractive guy in her eyes. The last thing she wanted was to get involved in a new relationship.
If you're searching for a romance thriller loaded with action and suspense, along with some steamy scenes, then you’ve found the right place!
I’m looking forward to the next installment Nate’s story releases end of May 2025
Ian and Maggie’s story releases end of August 2025
A quick, fun romantic suspense story. Parts seemed a bit formulaic, but overall I enjoyed watching Ella and Jack fall in love. They both had childhood baggage and while it’s touched on briefly, it seemed more superficial than necessary to further the plot. On the other hand, the fact that it wasn’t a big deal may mean that the characters are more mentally mature than most of us, having dealt with the traumas in their pasts and been able to move beyond it.
Overall, I would recommend this to any reader looking for a fast paced romantic suspense story with no additional angst, no second act breakup, and a happy for now ending.
I loved reading the development between Jack and Ella. The minute I read the first page, I didn't want to put it down. I won't lie; there were parts that felt like filler and followed the usual formula of guess who the big bad stalker is. Those things said, this is still a fantastic read.
Ella and Jack were what the other needed to get through past trauma, but Jack makes it better by being an MMC who will give his brand new car for her to use, buy her lunch to make sure she is fed, and defend Ella without batting an eye. This was a very quick read that will keep you entertained in how an accountant and the owner of a security company heal each other and fall in love.
I finished this book within 3 days, it’s only a small book, if you like a quick read!
The book has a good story but for me there’s not much character development. The storyline and plots were interesting which did grab my attention! It was a lovely romantic story involving Ella and jack, family closeness, genuinely heart warming. I did think that there could maybe be a bit more potential involving the story and the characters. If you like spice this is spicy - lots of spice, love, romance, family!
Another good thing I enjoyed was the authors writing style - easy to read and follow!!
Overall I rate a 4 - for a good story and ease of reading!
My mind swirls with jumbled thoughts as the light turns green. With a sigh, I let my foot off the brake and turn left, before my body jolts as my car jerks forward. The seatbelt digs painfully into my neck and stomach as adrenaline ripples through me momentarily. Tyler Mathew’s employed by Jack sanders. Gisella Ella Easton. 35&41. I scrunch my nose, confused. “Like, from the accident? I don’t know.” His deep sigh rumbles through the phone. “No, Gisella. With the rest of your car.” “Oh.” I frown. I knew about a few things, but they didn’t seem that serious, so I never got them fixed. “Well, what did your mechanic find?”Jack sent lunch. Stalker started with , 6 months silence, now texts. “I’m the one who’s in charge of your safety, so you can pay me in baked goods.”I’m excited and nervous to bring Jack here. This is my home away from home. I started volunteering here almost immediately after moving to Nashville. Besides my career, coming here multiple times a week is one of the things that made me the happiest over the last few years. And if I’m being honest, the residents and staff are some of my only friends in town besides Maggie. I always get flowers on Mondays. So I overreacted when they were closed. Mark leans forward, his hands clasped on the table. He glances at the clock on the wall. “Someone from Human Resources should be waiting for you in the hall. They’ll escort you back to your office so you can gather your personal belongings, and then they’ll walk you out.”Carlos frowns. “Jack, I need to take Ella with me.” Fury demolishes my desire. I spit out, “Why?” “After you told me about her getting fired and the possible accusations, I periodically checked in with the department that would cover that. I got word tonight that they wanted to question her. I told them I would go pick her up. They allowed me as a professional courtesy.” He raises his hands to stop the protest he could tell was coming. “It’s just preliminary questioning. I can’t guarantee, but I’ll try to be there with her. But she needs an attorney.”Chris Rivers is one of the best attorneys in Nashville and a friend. He’s wrong, I didn’t forget he doesn’t practice criminal law anymore. I was just hoping he would have forgotten and help. The photos are of me. Me with Tyler standing outside the flower shop, a red X over me. Me with Ian as he picked me up for work, the red mark aggressively colored over my face. The next is me and Jack outside the senior center. This one is different. Over Jack, DEAD is written in shaky handwriting. I’m about to give him shit about it when Maggie turns. Her face goes slack when she spies me and Ian. “You!” Next to me, Ian stands up straighter and points at himself, then at Maggie. “Me? What about you? What the hell are you doing here?” “I’m here to see Ella, you schmuck.”Ian takes a few swallows from the beer I handed him. “It was a hookup gone wrong.” He pauses thoughtfully. “Or maybe right. I guess it depends on who you ask.”“Tyler, what’s happening?” “Matt was shot, Jack. I think they were trying to shoot me. He saved my life.”“I have an arrest warrant for you. You need to come with me now,” he informs me. Shock rockets through my system. I take a small step back. “Can I call my attorney?” I don’t actually have Chris’s number, but I can call Jack. “You can call him at the jail.”“Um, sir? Where are you taking me?” I ask, voice high-pitched and panicked. My eyes find the driver. I can only see his profile. An unsettling grin slips onto his face. “You’ll see soon enough, sweetheart.”“Here’s how this is going to go. You’re going to get out of this car and not make a fucking scene. And you’re going to walk over to that car.” He waves the gun in the direction of the car next to us. “You’re going to get in the trunk, or I’m going to shoot you. It’ll hurt like hell, but it won’t be to kill. I’ll leave that to my friend over there.”Steven Melton, the son of the man who destroyed everything. Craig’s bloated, red face is hovering in front of my unfocused gaze. “Well, look what we have here. The nosy bitch who couldn’t mind her own business.”“I knew you started to get suspicious at the end of last year. Why do you think I had Steve try to scare you away with the little stalking bit?”The medicine and his body heat are all I need. As the world goes dark, I can’t be sure, but I swear I can hear him whisper three little words against my hair. I love you.
Sweet and steamy bodyguard romance that hits all the right notes
Sara Evou's debut novel, Found by Him, is a blend of romance, suspense, and heartfelt emotion. As the first installment in the Nashville Security series, it introduces readers to a world where love and danger intertwine seamlessly.
The story centers around Ella, a curvy woman in her 30s, whose life takes a tumultuous turn due to a stalker and a suspicious boss. A chance car accident brings Jack Sanders into her life. A protective, ex-military man who owns the city's leading security company. Their chemistry is immediate and electric, and Jack's unwavering support provides Ella with a sense of safety she desperately needs.
What sets this romance apart is its mature characters and the depth of their connection. The dual POV allows readers to delve into both Ella's vulnerabilities and Jack's steadfast devotion. The narrative is enriched by well-developed side characters, adding layers to the story without detracting from the main romance.
Evou's writing is both engaging and evocative, delivering a spicy yet tender tale that resonates with readers seeking a protective hero and a heroine reclaiming her strength. The pacing is brisk, making it a perfect weekend read that leaves you eager for the next installment.

The first book in a series I really enjoyed
I stumbled upon this new author by chance (recommended by ➦Paulette & Her Sexy Alphas) and since I love suspense romances, I didn't hesitate ... And it was a very enjoyable read !
The plot was captivating, the heroine cute, the hero badass, and I really loved how their romance developed =)
It's not quite a favorite because it was missing a little something for me, but she's definitely an author whose other books I'll be reading !
In short, a suspense romance that I enjoyed reading !
Ella spends months feeling restless, knowing she has a stalker. A chance accident leads her to Jack, a dashing man who happens to own a security company.
Ella is a thoughtful and courageous woman living in Nashville. By day, she works as an accountant; in her free time, she volunteers at a senior center and enjoys baking. Meanwhile, our MMC, Jack, is completely devoted to his work. As the owner of a security company, he has little time for anything else. However, his protective nature and reliability make him deeply loved by his family and friends.
Despite being a shorter read (<300 pages), the story is well-executed, with even the side characters getting enough “screen time.” The writing is fast-paced and uncluttered, making for an engaging experience.
While I enjoyed the book overall, I wished there was more time to develop Ella and Jack’s relationship. Since the story blends romance and suspense, the romance itself felt a little underdeveloped. I wasn’t fully convinced that their interactions were enough to justify such strong feelings—but that’s just my take! Other readers may feel differently.
That said, I’m so excited to read Maggie, Tyler, and Nate’s books!
This book follows Gisella aka Ella. Starting off strong, Ella is in an accident and the person who hit her works at this security company.
Jack, is a co-owner at the security place and he shows up after getting a call from his employee that he was in an accident.
The thing about this book is, I did like it, but there were some points that stood out to me that I wasn’t a big fan. Nothing too crazy there were some verbiage that I felt was very weird to me and it just seemed like it kept coming up. 😅 but that’s totally like a preference for myself so not really faulting anyone there for my experience with the book.
I didn’t know some spelling errors where I felt like I had to keep rereading it to make sure I was not reading it incorrectly. But these were also minor.
I don’t know if I would’ve liked the story better if it was just a straight love story without the extra piece.
I felt like Ella and Jack’s relationship was pretty fast and even though it wasn’t really a relationship that where they were in it was more like a situation ship for the majority of the book.
Overall…It was a fun read, and I would recommend a book like this.
I borrowed Found by Him ~ Nashville Security ~ Book 1 by Sara Evou from the Kindle Unlimited Program on Amazon.
Gisella "Ella" Easton is an orphan, alone in the world and is working for a medical supply firm when she is rear ended by Tyler, Jack Sanders's nephew and his boss at Nashville Security. This starts a strong attraction by Jack and interest from Ella. The next day Jack brought Gisella a very expensive car for her to use while her car was fixed.
After getting to know Jack, Ella tells him she has a stalker and he goes into protective mode. Shortly after she is fired and threatened by her company for cause due to irregular bookkeeping transaction that she is accused of doing.
Things esculate, she is interviewed by the police, she gets photos of her with men from the security company with red X's and then she is kidnapped by someone she knows. Jack and his guys come to the rescue and she finds a new job at Jack's firm and a place in his family company.
Lots of suspense, hot relationship, some fun and some danger and a happy ending to make a great romance novel well worth reading.
Jack might honestly be the ideal book boyfriend. The way he notices the little things about Ella — making sure she has lunch delivered so she doesn’t go hungry, sending her flowers every week, and always looking out for her safety — made him such a lovable character.
What I liked most about Found by Him by Sara Evou was how the romance felt unexpected. Their story wasn’t something that was forced or overly dramatic; it felt like one of those rare connections that just happens by chance.
The mystery element was a great bonus. The stalker storyline added tension, and the reveal that it was connected to Ella’s work conflict made it even more interesting. It definitely kept my attention and made the story more than just a simple romance.
Overall, this was a cute, engaging read with a little bit of suspense mixed in. If you like sweet romance with a touch of mystery, this one is worth picking up.
If you like a strong, take charge, protective man and a love story where the man swoops in and saves the sweet girl then this one is for you. A throwback, old-school romance. It has decent flow and is an easy, quick read. If you enjoy a story where the good-looking and rich man falls hard and fast for the overlooked sweet woman who is trying hard but life is just not letting her catch a break until he steps in to rescue her with his protectiveness and money this will satisfy you. He meets all the 'traditional' definitions of a male hero. Honestly, it is a very stereotypical male rescues female romance especially the later plot, it was not to my taste, but maybe to your taste. I was an arc reader, so this is my attempt at positive. But I did not like it and honestly I feel that it is the type of book that sets romances and women back several decades.
This book takes us along the journey of falling in love with Ella and Jack. Ella is an accountant who is trying to discover who is messing with the company’s finances and Jack owns a security company.
After Jack and Ella meet, life starts getting a little (a lot actually) messy for Ella between her evil boss, creepy stalker, and her feelings for Jack.
This book was a very addicting read, the storyline was strong and consistent and the characters were very interesting to read about.
I honestly wish this book was longer, because I was genuinely enjoying it that much! It usually takes me a couple days to finish a book due to my busy life but after staying up until 3am reading, I was able to read this one in a day!
This was a fast paced read, so if you like that then I’m sure you’ll love this!!
This was a quick read that delivered on what it promised—romance between Ella and Jack with a touch of suspense from her stalker. The characters were likable, even if they felt a little unrealistic at times. Some of the side details could have been left out to give the main themes more focus, but it still kept me interested enough to finish. Once we got a chapter from the stalker’s POV, I expected a bit more of that. The story could have used a bit more polishing in the editing, though that might not be an issue for everyone.
Overall an enjoyable, quick read if you’re in the mood for romance with some suspense mixed in, but not one I'll be telling everyone I know they have to read.
I really enjoyed reading this new author’s first book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I read the story of Ella and Jack nearly nonstop and enjoyed seeing Jack and Ella’s individual character development as well as their relationship. The nature of how Jack’s ‘family’ came to be resonated with me as well. Sometimes those closest to you aren’t there by blood, but something even more special. I’m happy to have discovered Sara.
Is it me or does it seem like a lot of books have a main character raised in foster care?? Enough already. With that rant out of the way, let’s talk about the book. IMO, strong start, a storyline with lots of potential, and characters that seem a little one dimensional. I think another round of editing is needed, and I’m also wrestling with how naive (?) the MFC seems to be, given her age and educational background. Overall, not bad, but could have been better.
Found By Him is book one in the Nashville Security series by Sara Evou. This was my first read by her and I am so happy I got the chance to find her. Found by Him was a great read and I really enjoyed it. Our FMC is a curvy, older woman with a stalker and our MMC is an ex-military man. One little "incident" brings them to cross paths and the story unfolds from there. This story was really cute and I enjoyed it so much so if you are looking for a sweet, twisty read then this is the book for you. Amazing job!
Ella, the FMC, is a sweet, generous, curvy older woman with a stalker. Lucky for her, a little fender bender puts her into the path of the MMC Jack. Jack is ex-military. He's sexy, owns his own company, and is willing to loan Ella his new G-Wagon while her car is being repaired kind of guy. Jack will stop at nothing to find Ella's stalker and keep her safe.
This book does have some spice, but not over the top... Maybe a three... I can't wait for the next book in the series.
The romance was solid. There were more than a few typos, but not enough to make me stop reading. The main characters were interesting and their romance was sweet. My only negative is that the two main characters could have used more detailed backgrounds. The spice level was about 3🌶️ but the transition to possibly the next book was good and the epilogue was very romantic. Give it a shot.
Fun fact! I actually read book 2, 3 and 4 from the series before I went back to read this book which is the first book of the series. Jack is definitely an alpha male and his most attractive trait is his desire and ability to protect Gisella.
I enjoyed seeing their found family supporting them through the challenges which hit them even as they were navigating their new relationship. It was an enjoyable read and I definitely have no regrets picking up this book.
That was an action packed and super cute book! I bet she was glad to be in that fender bender or she never would have met Jack! And how nice that you start to date a guy with a security company while you are being stalked and accused of fraud when you are innocent! Good thing he had all his connections!
This is so disappointing, it started so good and I had such high hope with the cute meet me. It went downhill when the h got fired because it could have been prevented and you can smell who the bad guy from a mile away. Also a part of me really didn’t like how dependent the h was on the H to have her problems fixed.

Found by Him was a really interesting and well developed plot!
I finished it a few days ago and I still can't stop thinking about it. There was so much tension and suspense build up which really got you hooked. It was a bit predictable, so that is why I have given it 4 stars instead of 5.
I liked the back stories and character development for all the characters in the story. It was nice to see the supports that were laid out for Ella in her time of need as she didn't have any family of her own to take care of her.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series!
I really enjoyed this book, I liked all the characters and thought the mystery was pretty good I had some suspicions but it wasn’t too obvious. I can’t wait to read the other books about the rest of the guys.
That was so quickly progressed. Like dang. Also why with the kidnap thing? why? Craig says his son started feeling obsessed with her but like... he didn't really put as much effort as a he said he would. all bark no bite.

A great start to this series. The story is not long but the depth of it has everything. Jack & Ella is the perfect couple who I can easily be friends with. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I don’t think there was a single thing about this book I didn’t like. It was absolutely the perfect length, a clear and easy to follow plot, and I loved how it ended! I loved trying to figure out who the “bad guy” was and their reason behind stalking the FMC. Also can a guy like Jack find me???
Tyler was such a loveable side character! The way they introduced the MMC just pulled you in and the FMC was reluctant and fighting herself the whole time haha checking him out from the first moment she saw the MMC. I cannot wait to read the next book!
This book has good reviews and I was excited to read it but it wasn’t good. Lots of typos and grammatical errors. Storyline wasn’t great and the MFC was annoying. Will not be reading anything else in this series
This was a very quick read that will keep you entertained with the action, suspense, stalker, evil boss Ella’s life gets messy and an accident brings Jack into her life. As feelings develop Jack steps up and takes care of Ella and matters.
